Set within the world of global cybercrime, Legendary’s Blackhat follows a furloughed convict and his American and Chinese partners as they hunt a high-level cybercrime network from Chicago to Los Angeles to Hong Kong to Jakarta.
Directed and produced by Michael Mann, the film stars Chris Hemsworth, Viola Davis, Tang Wei and Wang Leehom, and it is written by Morgan Davis Foehl and Mann. Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni produce alongside Mann, while Alex Garcia and Eric McLeod serve as the executive producers.
Michael Mann is a visionary. He anticipated the kind of film we see on the platforms.
Criminally underrated film
A drop dead gorgeous hacker who has a chiseled chin and the body of Adonis. That's totally convincing.

The first 35 seconds into this trailer made me think it was a movie trailer for Watchdogs.

Truly a great movie to watch. I would give it an 8 out of 10 because they could have done the last part a little better, as the antagonist is killed too easily. Nonetheless, it's a great movie, and all the actors performed really well.
Takeaway: No matter what situation you are in, you can escape it. The main character in the movie is serving a prison sentence for about 15 years but still manages to use his skills to get out and eradicate the main culprit. You need to believe in yourself. I also like the confidence of the main character Chris Hemsworth being a Hacker (Nicholas Hathaway).

I have a hard time believing Chris Hemsworth aka Thor aka James Kirk's father is suppose to be an elite hacker. He doesn't even look the part. Michael Mann you went through all this trouble to build a very believable nuclear power plant set but you didn't even consider hiring a very believable hacker.
Now that's the way to get an audience for your movie. Make an incredibly dull clichéd trailer.
