I like the part where they laugh at the notion of winning an academy award.
This show deserves it's own set, proper intro, and better lighting. Its really amazing.

Hollywood is well-known for being devoid of audio recording talent. I'm sure the KPCS has hired the best audio talent available out there in the wasteland of talent.

I can tell if he's being sincere or sarcastic, about Airplane spoofing the original Airport series. Great show and great interview.
I don't know if they know but, the sketch about the guy who doesn't know how to do a drug deal seems very close to an episode in a show on HBO called "Curb Your Enthusiasm" where Larry David tries to buy weed for his Dad's glaucoma and he goes through basically the same exact process. It's most likely just a happening of the same idea itself up in seperate places multiple times which it does a lot. I dont know, I just found that interesting. Look up the Curb Your Enthusiasm scene on youtube probably.
