I tried magnet fishing for the first time today and really enjoyed it. Didn't find much though just some nails, part of a bike frame and some scrap metal.
Enjoying your videos - ta. Seem to remember from school that sometimes putting two magnets close to each other on something makes a weaker rather than stronger pull - not always cumulative.
Wow, these videos are incredible, the tell of a painful truth ,about people behavior, I guy with a magnet can have a new career, and have the most amazing stories to tell of what he finds.. brilliant lads !!!
Just watched this vid & subscribed, some heavyweight finds and that motorbike, quite a recent one as well. I definitely want to give this magnet fishing a try!
Shopping trolley. The staple find in any British waterway. I suspect the digger bucket is a left-over from the last time they were doing maintenance on that canal. Apparently losing a bucket is a fairly common occurrence if you are excavating under water...
Alright Chaps. The lad in the white shirt with the croc on the front, whats the line you are using, looks considerably stronger than the rope I have? Looked on Ebay but cant find anythung like it.
Wow!!! That's incredible!!! It was weird enough to find a grocery cart, then on top of that you find a motorcycle?! That's awesome!!! Since it's a year later, what did you end up doing with it?
I was fishing off the shore on Puget Sound when I was 15 and reeled in a bag with 24 bottles of beer in it. I like to think that's when my illustrious career in alcoholism began. I wonder why I can't find the time to fish like I used to.
Marshall Metal Detecting hi it’s supposed to be 200 kg but It depends on the thickness of the metal for the really heavy stuff we use a grappling hook . Thanks for watching
At least the digger bucket is worth some money if you clean and paint it. The bike was a surprise. Probably stolen, but if no one claims it maybe you can keep it and sell the parts? How strong are your magnets..200-300 Kg of lift force?
Hi guys just subscribed where do you get your magnets from? I’m looking for good quality and large size . I want to check out a natural swim area that has been used for hundreds of years in Hong Kong in the mountains.
Great video guys! Well done with all your finds.

I can't believe how much junk is in our canal networks good for you lads that you take it all with you keep up the good work .
Chucking stuff in the canal is criminal - I’d love to do magnet fishing in London - imagine all the old school guns you’d find.

That heavy pole at 2:50 missed your toe by an inch. Ouch that'd hurt 😁
Did these guys find a creek running thru the middle of a scrap yard???

Cool, thanks for the reply. I'll take a look. Might be something fun to do in the future. Do you need a license to take the metal to the scrappers?
