You are a True Zepp. Fan!!! And this to, is my favorite Zepp song. Saw them live in San Diego 1977.. bye the way, Page is sweating so much because he was at the height of his coke and heroin addition... Amazeing how well he pulled this one off...
Detrucci how about some Deep Cuts! The Wanton Song, In The Light, In My Time Of Dying, Ten Years Gone, How Many More Times, Gallows Pole, The Battle Of Evermore, Four Sticks, Custard Pie, The Rover, Trampled Under Foot. Any or all will do. Remember I'm your Deep Cuts guy! LOL.
It's hard to pick a favorite with so much to pick from but this has been my favorite since I bought the album when it came out. Presence is a listening experience unto itself.
Achilles Last Stand is my fav song by Zepp. Been listening to this band for 40 years and it never gets old! Have you reacted to Moby Dick yet? Bonham's a beast.
I got the enjoyment that you really genuinely like this song. Asking me what is my favorite song from Led Zeppelin is really hard to say, because it depends what mood I'm in. They have so many different layer like a onion, I just can't say. They are my very favorite band, no one compares to them. There are some live version of The Lemon Song but They are really hard to hear, so guess the studio version.
This was on a cold rainy night outside, with temps near freezing. You can see Plant's breath. They still gave an awesome performance! (Page's shirt is soaked from the rain blowing in.)
Unfortunately, Jimmy was in the depths of his heroin addiction here. That's why he's sweating so much. If you notice, none of the others are sweating anything like Jimmy is. We are so lucky to still have Jimmy with us. Clean, healthy and a very distinguished looking gentleman. ❤️
My favorite Led Zeppelin song is whichever one I'm listening to at the time. Best band ever! Awesome reaction! It doesn't matter what Led Zeppelin song you react to. You still have to react to some of their folk songs. Try Going to California or Misty Mountain Hop.
Me and my schoolfriend Mike were 15 when we went to Knebworth to see the first of the 2 concerts they played there on 4th August 1979 (fck, makes me feel old). I still watch this now, over and over again, it never fails to to send a chill up my spine, make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and blow my fckin mind !! I've seldom, if ever seen a four piece band play so well together , its simply off the charts. This song will never fail me 🙏🤗
This reaction was SO GOOD!!! It reminds me so much of the reaction you did to the studio version! There are some great songs on the Presence album, “Nobody’s Fault But Mine”, “For Your Life”, “Tea For One”. Again, great reaction! The “Lemon Song” is a great song. You know, I would love to see you react to “The Wanton Song”. It’s so different, and I’ve only seen it reacted to once or twice over the last couple of years.
It was once said that when Jimmy Page played this to Keith Richards for the first time Keith apparently said something like You’ll need to get extra guitar players in to help you play this live!! There’s no chance of that Mr Richards this is Jimmy Page man
Presence is my favorite album by Zeppelin - favorite song is The Rain Song but man Achilles Last Stand is a strong second for me LOL! Hell some days it is my favorite haha
Amazing choice! Great reaction and appreciation of every member of the band and what they're producing. I was there, aged 18! It was a hot August evening when they played and we all sweated as much as Jimmy while we stood and watched the awesomeness and thunder roll in. Another slamming song from the immortal Led Zeppelin. Re your question at the end - you just played my favourite version of my favourite LZ song! And you're gonna love The Lemon Song. Stay safe.
Yes brother, me and my school friend Mike were 15 and 16 respectively, we bought our tickets at Our Price in Shaftesbury Avenue, my brother came too , he was 17. This'll make u laugh, I was fairly impressionable, in fact, thats why I was there, Mike turned me on to Led Zeppelin , I turned him on to David Bowie - I digress... so walking through the campsite on Sat a.m. to claim a place, fairly close to the stage, I read a sign painted onto the side of a canvas tent, it simply declared "Jimmy Page, Lord of the Strings" !!! Oh man, I'd finally arrived in rock restival heaven, these people are like me, or Im like these people!! As you know , the sign was and still is right. There is a book, Led Zeppelin, Then As It Was - Knebworth 1979, if you havent got it, you shd try and find a copy (we have a little entry in the 'My Knebworth' chapter, so many cool recollections, it really does bring it on home 🙏🤗 Take care brother.
For another look into the incredible versatility of this band you need to hear “Down by the seaside” from the Physical Graffiti album. It completely caught me off guard the first time I heard it!
There’s definitely some Steve Howe influences in Jimmy’s guitar parts. Interesting that Jimmy recorded some demos with Chris Squire after Zeppelin ended. Was calling it XYZ, but Squire went back to Yes and Jimmy formed The Firm with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, who I saw live. Awesome of course.
This is the heaviest Zeppelin song I've heard and it's live and incredible. Bonham Page Jones and Plant Allstar band. Top contenders of the 70s all positions covered throughout the 70s. The 4 best at all position musicians. John Bonham and Jimmy Page are off the hook on this one .
My favoriteS, I can't just pick one... Ten Years Gone, In my Time of Dying, You Shook Me, The Song Remains the Same/The Rain Song, Dazed by Confused...and about 20 more. Keep going!
I love all Zep but so I can only narrow it down to my favorite album and that would be Presence. It's funny because when I was a teenager I was told by a chick I was crushing on that it wasn't a very good album, you know cuz their earlier stuff is the best. Yep, that shit was going on before hipsters. It was years before I finally bought the album and it blew me away. Here's the moral of the story kids. Make up your own mind when it comes to subjective experiences. Someone giving you advice may just be running with the herd.
You’d lose your mind listening to the “Listen To This Eddie!” bootleg version of this or The Song Remains The Same on the same bootleg, John Bonham went crazy that night and you can hear in within the first 10 seconds of the opening song
D, I keep coming back to this reaction because it comes closest to the way I feel when watching. I just don’t think there’s a live performance that can top it. And that drumming, my god that drumming. Sublime 🔥
Over 200 Thousand people at this show. To have this level of QUALITY SOUND & PRECISION PLAYING is so f_cking good I can't imagine that it will ever be matched or even come close....... IM JUST SAYING 😎
This concert was after two years without playing together, after the death of Robert,s son- You can see the change in his face.. His sadness. He no longer wanted return to Zeppelin. I was devastated. Jimi and Jons didn't,t go to their son,s funeral and this hurt Plant a lot. Only Bonzo, a personal friend, was by his side. In this concert you can also see Jimmy,s problem with heroin. It was his last big concert because Bonzo died the following year. Still they are Masters. Bonhan left an indelible mark with his passion. Led Zeppelin for ever.
Favorite song Kashmir, followed by this one. Zeppelin, it doesn't get better that that, there's no second act after what these 4 created in rock music, the end!!
My favorite songs: 1) Since I’ve Been Loving You 2) Achilles Last Stand 3) Ten Years Gone. You Shook Me from the BBC sessions (either version) is right up there as well.
Thanks! This song is one of my favorite songs of Zeppelin!! especially I love drum and guitar part. I heard that Jimmy took a picture with Kanami ( BAND-MAID Drummer ) after he saw their concert. He said to Kanami you remind me John Bonham then. I'm big fun of both band. I'm so happy!! ( ^ ^ )
Love the enthusiasm buddy ! Have a look at Kashmir, from celebration day concert 2007 , with John's Son Jason on Drums !! The rest of the band are in their 60's !! It will blow you away ! 👊🏼👍🏼
man my favorite Led zeppelin song is the same as yours, the one I'm listening too.. my two favorite groups are Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin... you could say I'm a Led Head..
Good Reaction. My favorite songs are Babe i ' m gonna leave you by Led Zeppelin 1, Heartbreaker , Out on the tiles, The Rover , Kashmir ,in the evening , Wearing and tearing , Bonzos Montreux and the Moby Dick live Version from "Royal Albert Hall 1970.
Notice how wide Jimmy's guitar strap is ? If you had to wield a 10 pound les Paul around for 3 hours a night you'd use one that wide too, wider helps keep it from digging into your shoulder all night.
Amazing stuff huh! It's really hard for me to pick a fav Zep song, but, I have to go with "Ten Years Gone" Jimmy uses several different guitars and layers them on the track. A work of guitar genius. The arrangement is incredible. Studio version is best because it's virtually impossible to recreate live. Off of Physical Graffiti. I remember when Presence came out, it was an auto buy! Hearing Achilles last stand made the wait for Presence so worth it! There is a lot of underrated great stuff on that album!
Zeppelin's last stand in the UK too and, despite some gangsterish behaviour going on in the background with their manager over the number of ticket sales, it actually seems like a pretty decent experience. They could have made a comeback...
Plant wrote this while recovering from his auto accident and he was confined to a wheelchair with a broken leg, ankle and elbow. The accident cancelled their 1976 concert tour.
Robert Plant has said that HE CONSIDERS the musicianship of Jimmy, Bonzo and JPJ in this song to be unsurpassed in rock music.
It was funny that during the same pod cast Plant compared himself to being a wedding singer compared to the other 3 guys.
They did the same on 1971 versions of Celebration Day and Immigrant Song. Same energy
Led Zeppelin isn't next level - they're the level after that.
My favorite Zeppelin song is usually the last one I listened to.
Perfectly said!
Bonham is like a freight train on this one!
It's why to me they are the greatest band ever!
ROCK and Roll Orchestra this is what Zepp is and Jimmy is the mistro
I was there, aged 16, finally seeing my heroes on stage. I’d been into them since I’d been 11 years old. It blew me away, something I’ll never forget.
Lol I saw them at 15 and I'm devastated to say I remember absolutely nothing. 😲
They are rock n roll. Then Now Forever. Soft. Medium. Hard. Heavy. They are ROCK.
You are a True Zepp. Fan!!! And this to, is my favorite Zepp song. Saw them live in San Diego 1977.. bye the way, Page is sweating so much because he was at the height of his coke and heroin addition... Amazeing how well he pulled this one off...
"In My Time of Dying" is probably my favorite LZ song, coincidentally off my favorite LZ album.
My favorite Led Zeppelin songs are...All Led Zeppelin songs, they are the best band ever, especialy live...
LOL.
Carouselambra, Hey, Hey, what can I do, Out on the Tiles, Wearing and Tearing
Hell yes! This Bonham performance is incredible!
now you get to see how great they really are!! HAMMER OF THE GODS!!!!!
It's hard to pick a favorite with so much to pick from but this has been my favorite since I bought the album when it came out. Presence is a listening experience unto itself.
Damn bro, do you know how hard of a question that is? I have like 50 favorite Led Zeppelin songs! lol
😂😂
Achilles Last Stand is my fav song by Zepp. Been listening to this band for 40 years and it never gets old!
Have you reacted to Moby Dick yet? Bonham's a beast.
Moby Dick from Royal Albert Hall?
I got the enjoyment that you really genuinely like this song. Asking me what is my favorite song from Led Zeppelin is really hard to say, because it depends what mood I'm in. This was on a cold rainy night outside, with temps near freezing. You can see Plant's breath. They still gave an awesome performance! (Page's shirt is soaked from the rain blowing in.)
Page is soaked from sweat, because of his heroin use.
Can you imagine how it must’ve felt standing in front of Bonham’s bass drum?
unworldly comes to mind.
You just nailed it…. That wave of magical force from JB gives Jimmy Page The strength of power to fucking kick ass on stage.. Chemistry is unmatched
My favorite Led Zeppelin song is whichever one I'm listening to at the time. Best band ever! Awesome reaction! It doesn't matter what Led Zeppelin song you react to. You still have to react to some of their folk songs.

This song will never fail me 🙏🤗
Great reaction Brother. Love your passion for this...iconic .GREATEST BAND THAT EVER DID IT!!!!!!
Wasn't this awesome? I swear I can't pick a favorite song! The Lemon Song was remastered and it was from the 2nd album.
This performance of ALS is monstrous. Jimmy is killing it!
It was once said that when Jimmy Page played this to Keith Richards for the first time Keith apparently said something like You’ll need to get extra guitar players in to help you play this live!! There’s no chance of that Mr Richards this is Jimmy Page man
ten years gone is my favorite
achilles, the rain song, song remains the same, thats the way are probably in the top 5-10
we have the exact same taste in zeppelin music
Presence is my favorite album by Zeppelin - favorite song is The Rain Song but man Achilles Last Stand is a strong second for me LOL! Hell some days it is my favorite haha
Amazing choice! Great reaction and appreciation of every member of the band and what they're producing. I was there, aged 18! Led Zeppelin is everything!
❤⚘✌🏼🎼🚀
Dude - it's awesome to see you really getting into the music! Love the authentic reaction.
THE DETRUCCINATOR!!! 🥺😫😫😫😫🤷🏻♂️😂😂😂 I give up 😭😭😂. You are the man though Detrucci! Always my buddy! 😎😫😂😎🎤🎤🎧🎧👏👏👏👏👏👏🙌😂
I was there, August 4th 1979, 200,000 people brilliant.....
OMG what a performance! Every time I see it, it blows me away.
For another look into the incredible versatility of this band you need to hear “Down by the seaside” from the Physical Graffiti album. It completely caught me off guard the first time I heard it!

BONZO!!! Drove Zep like he was driving a semi at break neck speed! 😎✌️
OMG I was gonna recommend this to you last night !!
JIMMY IS THE MAN AND ALWAYS WILL BE
YES !
...and that is how music should make you feel!!!

I love your reactions…. I feel exactly the same although I saw them when the first came out with this song!!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Teresa
My favorite zep song has Got to be since i’ve been loving you live at msg. Blues at its best
Love the enthusiasm buddy ! Have a look at Kashmir, from celebration day concert 2007 , with John's Son Jason on Drums !! The rest of the band are in their 60's !! It will blow you away ! 👊🏼👍🏼
John Bonham passed away not long after this show! What a loss.
A huge loss
Hard to give a favorite song. It changes from day to day. This is right up there as is Dazed and Confused as well as at least 80 others.
man my favorite Led zeppelin song is the same as yours, the one I'm listening too.. my two favorite groups are Led Zeppelin and Led Zeppelin... you could say I'm a Led Head..
Kashmir in this same concert, amazing, Bozo is perfect.

Love the song love your reaction
Really the deeper you dig, you will evolve into understanding there is no such thing as a LZ favorite song!
Amazing stuff huh! It's really hard for me to pick a fav Zep song, but, I have to go with "Ten Years Gone" Jimmy uses several different guitars and layers them on the track. A work of guitar genius. 4 Masters of their trade

epic.
Achilles is my favorite..but the rover is awesome
Jimmy Page was fighting heroin addiction when they did this - thankfully he kicked the habit and he's still with us today.

Get it!!!
I've seen this billions of times LMFAO 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Zeppelin's last stand in the UK too and, despite some gangsterish behaviour going on in the background with their manager over the number of ticket sales, it actually seems like a pretty decent experience. They could have made a comeback...
The rain song is probably my favourite lz song. But they have so many great songs its hard to say
My favourite song is Since i've been loving you, and here's the link for the Lemon song: ua-cam.com/video/_r85Cf6mS18/v-deo.html you will love it !
The studio version of this was recorded in one take wild Robert Plant was in a wheelchair with a broken ankle
Had to watch immediately, before the big and bad censors yank it down.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It's possible they will :)
@@Detrucci I found something. Her name is Yousei Teikoku, Mischievous of Alice. Dare you.
hehehe now THAT is a reaction! haha
My favorite zeppelin song is probably the lemon song haha
Plant wrote this while recovering from his auto accident and he was confined to a wheelchair with a broken leg, ankle and elbow. The accident cancelled their 1976 concert tour.
Ramble on is one of my favorites. To hard to really just pick one..
Hey dude next reaction should be dazed and confused live 1973. It’s 30 min! And it’s improvised a ton
He already did, go to his page and scroll down on Community, where the videos and play lists are located.
Suuup
One of my faves
John bonham has the power of a category 5 hurricane 🤯
My mother was there, she saw this live. Lucky bitch!
fucking hell.fucking hell as bonham resets the atomic clock .10:28
I think its better than the album version ;)
The best bro👍
