An absolute must: 1979 Knebworth KNEBWORTH ITS DAMN EPIC!!!! Please trust me I’m a 50 year LED head!!! Your ears and body will thank us. I noticed that Julie recommended it too!!! We are long time Led Heads me 50 years and her I believe about the same we know our Zep and wouldn’t lead you astray. Love your reactions!! They’re genuine!!
As a lover of Led Zep since my brother brought home Physical Graffiti when it came out in 1975, me at only 8 years old. That 4 sides of purely Electric Magick CHANGED MY LIFE. It was SUCH a pleasure for ME to watch YOU totally get off to this little-known gem. I’ve mastered this on guitar, as I feel it truly is Page at his mad best. If you like Bonzos drumming in THIS, try Moby Dick from Earls Court, 1975.
WHY DON'T MORE PEOPLE REACT TO THIS INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE!!!!! I don't understand why more folks don't show the love for this incredible band! Thanks so much for doing so and please continue to react to the greatest rock band in history
Its they Best song musically, all 4 in top form, this was a Phenomenal performance during a time when they were on the rebound..a very tough sing to pull off live... The MLZ!
That was ridiculous. OMG. FEROCIOUS. Holy lord!! I've loved that song, the studio version, since the late 70's. But watching them SHRED that already epic, mountain-of-a-song was truly ridiculous.
This is an incredible performance by a band who were supposedly washed up! They did 2 weekends at Knebworth with no support acts just them. 200 thousand people turned up!!!!!!! And they were rewarded with this!! I've never ever heard a drummer sound anything like Bonham, he was a MONSTER! And the soul poured out of jimmies les Paul too. brilliant track
Knebworth definitely had support acts. But in general, through most of Zeppelin's existence, they did not use support acts and usually played for well over two or three hours each show
So happy you did this! One of the most epic performances. Don’t ever let the length of a song scare you off, you just might miss greatness. Everybody fantastic but John Bonham is otherworldly
Wasn't this amazing? Try Kashmir from this concert...and Dazed And Confused from MSG 1973!! Also The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song from MSG 1973!! Magnificent!!
Hi Julie I also asked him to react to KASHMIR 79 in Knebworth!! That’s my fav sad be performance of my fave song. I told him I have 50 years under my belt as a LedHead I told him I thought you were were around my age I hope I wasn’t speaking too much out of turn. I figure since we have so much LED knowledge in common we must me sort on close in age. Here’s to Zeppelin and our impeccably great taste in great music 🥂Cheers my friend
Plant referenced this song on the Charlie Rose interview, as to why they couldn't go on without Bonzo. Just look at their interactions with each other.
Bonzo showed no mercy on those drums. Jimmy Page was on lead guitar. John Paul Jones played bass and keyboards and of course you have Robert Plant on vocals. Bonzo also sang back up vocals on several tracks. One in particular is Misty Mountain Hop. To get a full appreciation of the diversity of Zepplin's catalog, please check out Kashmir from this same concert. Dazed and Confused from MSG and Bron Y Aur. There is so much to choose from. You can't go wrong with the original super group. RIP Bonzo. I still love you!
this was at the end of four hour concert...yeah they laid it all on the table...no band could end an epic career like these cats...except they did on Celebration Day 40 years later... check out Kashmir from that show
I was there that night on the acchilles last stand video I'd bought a ticket months before but by the time of the concert I was out of work so I hitch hiked to Knebworth it took me18 hours slept in a cornfield outside Oxford the night before got there at 8 the next morning then the crowd waiting pushed the fences down so no one knows exactly how many were there but it was estimated at 250000 quarter of a million
Great video man, gotta love some Zeppelin especially this great song! If you come back to Led Zeppelin I highly recommend checking out The Battle Of Evermore, it's an absolute masterpiece loosely based on the Lord Of The Rings books, Robert Plant was a huge fan of the series and took inspiration from it while creating the song.
64 yo guy here and I was just a kid when I heard Zepps 1st album and man T hey have been my fav band all my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were so damn great live! Brings back so many memories.
Zeppelin, always amazing...So awesome live in concert back in the day...Some hate growing old, but Im blessed to have grown up in a time of amazing music and would never give up those memories...Blessings
Absolutely Achilles live at Knebworth is amazing…. Now Devin from same concert 79 Knebworth you absolutely have to do your ears a huge favor and listen to KASHMIR!!!! It will rock your world and Plant gives 120% and yes that’s Jimmy Page drenching wet in Achilles and he doesn’t disappoint in KASHMIR either!!!! It’s an absolute BANGER!!!!
Hey Brother first of all nothing like reacting to the greatest rock group on planet earth, Led Zeppelin. Second of all, I noticed your Sig Sauer sign. I have a P226 Sig, made in West Germany in 1995. Its now considered a rare weapon. Now they're made in New Hampshire. Until next time, stay well
The 2007 show, nostalgia aside was weak sauce. Jason was click tracking his drumming. Plant had no range left. There was now flow like the old days. It was a legacy performance. Grade: C.
Dign your LZ music journey reactions, next LZ song must do is The Song Remains the Same/Rain Song live from MSG, LZ are truly the GOATS! God bless and enjoy!
Not that anyone is watching this feed anymore but I would like to posit that Pretenders were as fierce as Led Zeppelin are where the ideas and expression and the places and times are expressed.....relatively. Chrissie Hynde screams her pain and passion as well as Robert Plant ever did.
They played for 3 1/2 hours the last time we got to see them. Me and my buddies are all old now. The strangest thing is how some of them fell down the right wing rabbit hole. Sad. Never would have guessed it.
First time watching Devin. I love Led Zep, and loved the reaction, but I found all the Christian nationalism stuff a bit peculiar. Probably just me ....
Check out Dazed and Confused 1973 MSG live it's 30+ minute's long like 35 minutes. It's all Page and his masterful guitar work. He plays non stop the entire song Cello bow....everything
All of my Led Zeppelin reactions so far - bit.ly/3xKpmqY

Led Zeppelin were a force of nature. John Bonham is a joy to behold.
"I Never had drum lessons, I just played the way I wanted, and got black-listed in Birmingham ....." John Bonham 6/21/1975
Agree
JPJs' bass lines in this song are insane ! A true genius.
All four of them are specialists in their insane excellence.

It was absolutely awesome!
@@philshorten3221 200,005 I was there with 3 mates. 👍
There were plenty of support acts. I know because I was there.
Knebworth definitely had support acts. But in general, through most of Zeppelin's existence, they did not use support acts and usually played for well over two or three hours each show
@@Mang213 Yeah yeah, but we're talking about THIS performance which was Knebworth and had support acts.
You have to see the 28 minute version of Dazed and Confused from MSG 1973. Greatest guitar performance ever recorded!
Yes.
That one is hard to get uploaded
@@UlyssesM Others have done it.
@@Tomico. only parts of it. Only one person has a full upload of it
@@UlyssesM I've found at least 3 just now.
The way I describe Zeppelin is the God's of music.
This is a live person of a band with ONE guitarist! Astounding.
Jimmy Page said that this was the most demanding song for him to play live because it was so physically unrelenting hence all the sweat
So happy you did this! One of the most epic performances. Don’t ever let the length of a song scare you off, you just might miss greatness. Everybody fantastic but John Bonham is otherworldly
28 mins Dazed and Confused, 1973 MSG...pure domination of the crowd. Must watch.
takes 2 weeks to watch....

After watching this amazing performance, it’s clearly obvious that there’s no way Led Zeppelin could’ve continued to carry on without John Bonham
Plant referenced this song on the Charlie Rose interview, as to why they couldn't go on without Bonzo.

I was there !!😎😍😎😍😎
There are no adjectives ,no words ! I'm privalaged x

Tightest band ever too, along with being the greatest.
Best band ever, period!!!!!
You’re about to be blown away!!! 🔥
Thanks for more Led Zeppelin
I've always thought this song inspired Barracuda by Heart. The studio track is so superior I hope people new to this song will check it out.
I have to disagree. The studio track is one of my favorites and is great but this is great as well. It's different but just as great.
So dynamic and thunderous. Epic!!!

Bonzo and JPJ are magic 🎸🥁🎶🎶
Dazed and confused live from Madison square garden new York 1973 it's 28 minutes long it will blow u away
Dazed and Confused live 1975 from The Song Remains the Same is the greatest guitar solo ever!
Great video man, gotta love some Zeppelin especially this great song! 2024 will be my 50th year as a Zeppelin fan. Doesn't get much better than this.
I like Your SIG SAUER display! Very 2A of You!! Led Zeppelin is the Best!!!

I like the 2007 O2 Arena reunion concert version better. They aged like fine wine, hope you can check that one out, even if it's just on your own.
As far as I know they didn't play Achilles Last Stand at the 2007 concert
@@nthdegree1269 yes you are correct, I realized that after I posted. I was thinking of Kashmir. I like the 2007 version better.
@@artcordova6399 I think part of the problem of Knebworth was the audio. You're right about the Kashmir at 07, it came off really great.
You really should react to dazed and confused from msg73. It's 29 minutes og Jimmy page just playing from a different universe
I agree with you 💯 they are the Best 🎸🎸🎼🎵🎸
DO IT DEV!!! Nice reaction of a bad ass tune, especially LIVE version. PEACE.
that is insane lol.
I pray for you too! 🙏 Jimmy was the sweaty one!!
Love your comment, "A complete 9 minute flex job", is exactly what this is. Of the gods. The top of the pyramid, as far as their creativity. Epic
'The Wanton Song' is a funky little gem. They perform Kashmir at this festival as well. I believe there is footage of that on youtube.
GOATS of Rock n Roll
They used to do live concerts that lasted 3 hours or more after other bands lost the nerve to share the bill with them or open for them.
Magical!
Aloha, most memorable song from a '77 concert, remember it was fairly new then...also In My Time of Dying, Tangerine, and TSRTS...RIP Bonzo...
Read about the recording of this lol
excelent voice and guitars
Bonzo!!
Kashmir live celebration day from 2007 with Jason filling in on the drums for his old man John RIP but man bro they year it up .
PLEASE LISTEN TO NO QUARTER MSG 1973. ITS MAGIC!!!

11.15: redemption
Check out No Quarter from the 2007 O2 reunion concert (Bonzo's son was on the drums for that show).
Really good summary at the end.
Since I’ve been loving you live .. or anything from song remains the same live … anything from physical graffiti.. the rover .. some many great songs
You want a long track? Check the full ~28 minute Dazed and Confused at MSG 1973
I was here so glad I witnessed giants 😎
react to Led Zeppelin, When the Levee Breaks, such a great tune dude and I think you'll like it alot
Devin, your brain was working a lot faster after taking that genius work in.
And the GODS said, "Let there be music" and thus created these GODS
You have to react to their hit “Kashmir”. Love it.

Devon, you must witness Kashmir - Live from Celebration Day. They’re in their 70’s and Jason Bohnam does his daddy proud. It is an experience!
The 2007 show, nostalgia aside was weak sauce. Jason was click tracking his drumming. Plant had no range left. There was now flow like the old days. It was a legacy performance. Grade: C.

Seriously though ,what a joke when other drummers are mentioned in the same breath as BONZO. JMHO :)
Jimmy Page is the sweaty one...great guitarist but a lot of that sweat was from his heroin problem. Great track tho, and nice reaction vid!
Poor jimmy was so strung out on heroin at that time, glad he survived.... john bonham not so lucky.
