Makes me think of an inspection port or inspection hatch. A door way that has a ladder that goes down into a storage container or some sort of large machine. Looks good. Perfect for Necromunda.
Actually if you keep one of that gel/shampoo bottles that are thin and long, you could cut vertically one, put the flat part on the table, glue that bunker entrance as a tower and you would have a Dieselpunk U Boat/ K 19 submarine thing. PD the cool end resoult and the lovely accent from (probably north/east europe) got me, and now im subscribe to this thing because i need this vids.... i love to make cool stuff with basically everything un-useable. Nice vid by the way !
Nice! I'm planning to build some Mordheim or Frostgrave boards before summer since I promised a friend to show him the ropes, so lots of builds in that direction coming up soon. Haven't had time to play DnD in years, it was fun.
Karl makes stuff Mordheim is so much fun, and so is Frostgrave from what I hear! I love how even if you loose, you still can be better off than the winner... Makes the defeat a lot less sour, which was a big problem with 40k for me ;O ;P And to be honest I’m only “playing” DnD. I’ve DMed a session last year, and since 2 months I’m looking for a timeslot for a second one ^^
Campaigns in both games tend to develop storylines of their own too, which is always great! Re. D&D, I hear you man. Scheduling with multiple people is always a pain.
Sholaces in pva glue. Thick power cables? Icecream boxes. Free plasticcard. (But needs sandimg because it os sooo smoooth.) If you have a old rubix cube laying about it could be a nice -something-macine or something-sensor. Removimg some of the panels for interesting grebly placememt.
Thanks Robert! The graphite is sealed under varnish so that's not going anywhere :) The salt doesn't have a long term, the idea is to chip it off right after spraying to leave dings in the paint. It's just a tiny mask :)
Missle launch hatch. Great work. Thanks for the super idea. 👌
Thank you, and yes, that's a cool idea! With some cutting you could have it open.
@Karlmakesstuff yes indeed. You did Great work on that. God Bless

Thanks! That's a good idea, maybe sinking it part of the way into terrain so it's lower relative to the height of a mini would sell that even better.

Thank you! Happy to hear that :)
Excellent job, man. Quite the transformation
Thanks! I was really surprised myself at the difference a few dabs with paint on a sponge made.
I really enjoyed this, I’ve subscribed 👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Yes! I’ve been waiting for the space loo! ;D Man, using shampoo caps and such is such a lifehack, I wish I was still playing sci-fi stuff ^^
I love finding ways to repurpose stuff like that! So, what stuff do you play?
Karl makes stuff Mordheim and DnD, but I’m a Dakka Ork at heart!

Another suggestion:
Use it as a conning tower to a submarine.
That would work I think ☺

Thanks for your comment! Great tips, all of them :)
Outstanding work. How did the salt and graphite work long term?

New friend, here, nice to meet you, looking forward for more videos from you.
Hi! Thanks, and thanks for visiting!
Hello SuchAGreatDay
And a great day to you too!
Alternatively I could see a deodorant cap working well here
Yes! Literally anything with an interesting shape will do.
Or a small number of anythings with interesting shapes glued together.
Hmm... just one problem: you expect gamers to own body wash? 🤢
Bwahahaha! One could always go dumpster diving I guess XD
