Ninja are trained to kill, mostly during war. You have a mission and even if you litter the ground with corpses, it's part of the job - just another day and another person you don't feel a thing for, just move on to the objective. However, that scene of Obito mercilessly beating the shit out of a dude that's already dead, isn't just something you do out of duty. That's beyond personal. That's not what happens in a battlefield. Perfect comment when I watched this first I thought how much hashirma power could be disturbing if he wasn't a kind person I've never thought it could reach this also the fact that zetsu considered obito a genius just because he managed to use hashirma style show how strong is hashirma I think madra was never an opponent to hashirma he just didn't want to kill him
@@pharmcistatc8250 Madara was the only one who could stand before Hashirama in battle. He needed the Kyuubi to close the sheer gap in destructive ability between them and still lost. Hashirama only decided to kill his rival after he cloaked the Kyuubi with the perfect susanoo. A blood thirsty Hashirama would've been unstoppable. What can anyone even do against him? He has as much chakra as a perfect Kyuubi Jinchuriki, can spam map altering techniques with single hand seals, a perfect sage and can heal himself without weaving hand seals. God of shinobi is a fitting moniker.
Imagine a deep forest emergence from Hashirama but in Obito's deadly fashion. Could easily obliterate a capital city of every single person, Shinobi or not.
Obito is simply my favorite character not just in Naruto but in all of anime. How Kishimoto presented him was just perfect. From his chilhood innocence, to him becoming evil, his disguise as Tobi up to the point where he redeemed himself. The character development is just perfect. Obito's death always bring tears to my eyes. Kishimoto is a genius.
I had never seen this uncensored version of this episode, and I was really impressed with the sound effects and the extra scenes of obito beating the mist shinobi to death, it was heavier than the normal version.
Say what you want about the series' flaws. Say what you want about it's characters. But seeing Obito like this? Even with all the fillers, I came to love how similar he was to Naruto, but this? This hurts. Despite how he ended up, he deserved better than falling to darkness.
I don't think this scene represents JUST Obito going insane seeing his childhood crush dying. I like to interpret it like Rin representing Obito's childhood and dreams, his innocence. Obito is watching his past life dying: His childhood, his dream to become a Hokage (Rin was the one that most supported him, and now she's dead), his bonds with Minato's team, his trust in Kakashi and people in general. But all of that was lost before Rin's death. Obito spends like 2-3 years sick and prisoned, being manipulated by Madara and Zetsu... He was already rotten inside. Rin's death (as the person who most supported and loved him) was the representation of all the potential and live in young Obito's heart dying. He went insane because he was in complete despair at that point, he was realizing that he lost everything, that his life has become hell.
I would also like to add that the end of scene also perfectly contrast the situation Naruto was in when he was in despair, Whereas Naruto had people who pulled him out of his pain and rallied behind him, Obito was all alone and cold when he at his lowest with the only person he can truly go back to was Madara
That's a true statement and analysis of a character getting lost in life. This argument sounds much accurate than the ones which say nonsense stuff about the character going on rampage by a crush
I don't think an anime has ever gripped my emotions like Naruto has. It sounds very stupid but it's almost like I felt every emotion Obito felt as he was going through it. I imagined myself in his shoes, waiting years and years in imprinsonment, only to finally get out and realize all your years of waiting and wasting away your childhood was for nothing. I felt all of Obito's sadness and rage and anger. And the utter defeat at the end... "This is Hell" will forever be the most dramatic and immersive scene I've ever witness.
From innocent kid to taste his first killing, massacre even. This shows that even the purest of heart can turn into evil and insanity, given the right push... .
@minatodroger7890 and now that we know that his reason is that all of people he killed can be 'resurrected' in the dream world later on, eventhough he looked so composed talking about it, shows how insane he had become... . It's really twisted, at best.
3:43. I actually realized something amazing with this detail. The reason why his right eye area covered in blood instead of the left one is because of his mask. Discovering this fight was even more brutal then madara VS shinobi alliance O-O
This scene was so perfect
In the manga we could see the tree with all the body parts and there was the moon at the center of the page (this scene happens in the chapter 605 btw)
"What a fool coming alone"
5 minutes later
"Who is he!!!!"
😂😂
