I honestly cried to bad at the scene of the red paper died with konan's blood landing on tag. It was like with her last breath konan used last of life energy to send the paper home only then she could leave the living world to join her friends. I cried like a baby honestly.
Its too bad she came back just to get killed, but a least she was able to show us how strong she really is. She forced "Madara" to uses a kinjutsu that affects reality itself to win.

Plot is the only reason Konan was even in this fight. There was no suggestion prior that she could lay 600B paper bombs, which already sounds ridiculous as hell, and Obito could have easily put her under genjutsu or just flat out killed her but he chose to preserve her

All of that preparation just for Izanagi Hacks. Imagine if Obito had double MGS the whole time. Another thing no one says anything about. He doesn't have EMS,but spams his MS constantly without going blind or getting sick. Maybe Hasirama cells, or maybe he's just that savage.
Being backed by Zetsu and Hashirama cells, probably helped a fair bit. I also figure that Kamui is less straining than the amaterasu and tsukuyomi.

But... fast forward some thousand years. Madara awakens the rinnegan and summons the Gedo Statue. Within the statue lies several if not hundreds/thousands Zetsus who were previously created by Kaguya. Madara uses the harvested Hashirama cells to enhance the Zetsu and probably bind them to him.
So... White Zetsu are not a byproduct of Hashirama's cells, but were later enhanced by it.
Also, back on topic, Tobi/Obito has most of his body covered with White Zetsu, thus he has Hashirama's cells, which would probably explain how he can spam Kamui with seemingly no side effects. Hashirama cells is basically Gods Elixir lol

My question is why using the Izanagi Danzo looses eyes (meaning they close or dye) and Obito aka Tobi doesn’t?
Is it perhaps because he is an Uchiha or because he elevated his eye to Mangekyu level, I don’t know.

Konan lived as an orphan and lost both of her childhood friends later on in life. Gaara was despised and feared by his village, constantly being poisoned by Shukaku and on the verge of losing control of his own body, always on guard as his own father sent assassins to test him, separated from his siblings, and the one person in the world who had showed him kindness tried to kill him and told him that he hated him for “killing” his mother during birth. Definitely a good contender for the number one spot.
Itachi was a child with the mind of an adult, he spent his entire life as a shinobi, in service of his dream of becoming so powerful that he could force world peace. He almost never allowed himself to just be Itachi, he always had to be a shinobi first and foremost. He saw his own teammate get brutally killed in front of him at the age of 8, while being unable to do anything to stop it. His best and only friend committed suicide in front of him at the age of 13. He had to give up on his dream of saving the world, the very drean he had been training for since he was four years old, and instead had to kill his entire family and everyone (except Sasuke) that he loved, his parents, his girlfriend, people he grew up with and was branded a traitor by the entire world for the rest of his life. His own beloved brother despised him, for good reason. Add onto that a fatal illness that was rapidly killing him and did in fact kill him at the age of 17… Even if he didn’t massacre his own clan, he would have died far too young to realise his dream of creating world peace. Another strong contender for number 1.
There are dozens more people who suffered to a lesser extent, but certainly more than Konan.

Itachi's dream he worked for since the age of 4 was that of becoming a shinobi so powerful he could end all conflict. He never allowed himself any to simply be Itachi. Instead, he was forced to give up that dream and lived a life of immense suffering, only for some small closure for a part of that suffering at the second end of his life.
I'm with papa of the johns Konan has most certainly NOT suffered the most. Saying she has is a statement born from ignorance.

Well the thing is they were natives of the hidden village of the rain. Jiraya understood that they went through a lot of hardships and trained them in specifically the hidden rain so that they can restore the village that they loved. Pretty sure they didnt want to leave there village to go to another hence why they created akatsuki to restore peace and prevent others from going through the same shit they went through.
600 billion? You know how insane this is? If, for example, she made one paper bomb in 1 second, she needed over 18000 years for that (1 billion seconds roughly 30 years). Okay, let’s assume she was using some kind of jutsu to make a million of bombs in a day. That’s 600 thousand days or 1600 years. Less than 18000, but it a one and half of millennia. To made it in like, 3 years (when she started to plan to get rid of Obito), she would need to make 500 million bombs a day. She’s got not a bakery, but a whole typography
