He sealed his own mom in the moon, he killed his brother once, he "gave birth" to 9 beasts and scattered them accross the world, he witnessed his children fight to death, the way he envisionned chakra to be used became distorted and people now use it to kill other people, he witnessed his children reincarnate fight more than once, the stone tablet he left was rewritten by black Zetsu to make the revival of his mother possible, making his efforts feel completely useless, he witnessed a lot of shinobi dying to the world divine tree too, and more than 1/2 of that while being dead. That old man can't even rest in peace, he has to help his children fight.
Starting as a joyful, hardworking kid with a big dream, after that tragedies and influences makes him a ruthless villian and in the end after all he chooses the good. Incredibly written character.

I just want to thank you for creating this video. This video is the sole reason I started Naruto and love it so much to this day. I would watch this video all the time at work at least once or twice a day before I ever watch the show. Itachi story was pretty damn sad. He had to become a antihero to protect his village and his little brother sasuke. He also had to murder everyone he once knew and called family. Betrayed his family and clan as well. I wont deny that obito had a very sad story but I think itachi was worse. He may not have lost the girl he loved like obito but he had to murder, betray his family and clan while also keeping it a secret from everyone, and remembered everyday until the day he died what he had done.

The Uchiha Clan is not only Itachi. The entire clans' kekkei genkai revolves around a large sum of emotion to activate. The entire clan depends on pain and loss to achieve their power. So every Uchiha that has managed to get the Sharingan has been through pain. Not to mention the people that got the Mangekyou Sharingan (Itachi, Sasuke, Madara etc...) So if you look at the entire clan in total, that would be the most pain. Not just one person.
But that's just my opinion--
N O T- -F U N N Y you're looking at hundreds of years while we're looking at a few characters. Also, the clan that actually suffered the most was the Uzumaki, to the point where they almost completely disappeared, the only known to be remaining is Karin. (Naruto is technically a Namikaze since he doesn't have red hair like all Uzumaki members (Nagato, Kushina, Karin, Hashirama's wife.) The character himself that probably suffered the most would be Hagoromo (Sage of the six paths). He sealed his own mom in the moon, he killed his brother once, he "gave birth" to 9 beasts and scattered them accross the world, he witnessed his children fight to death, the way he envisionned chakra to be used became distorted and people now use it to kill other people, he witnessed his children reincarnate fight more than once, the stone tablet he left was rewritten by black Zetsu to make the revival of his mother possible, making his efforts feel completely useless, he witnessed a lot of shinobi dying to the world divine tree too, and more than 1/2 of that while being dead. That old man can't even rest in peace, he has to help his children fight.

Starting as a joyful, hardworking kid with a big dream, after that tragedies and influences makes him a ruthless villian and in the end after all he chooses the good. Incredibly written character.

I just want to thank you for creating this video. This video is the sole reason I started Naruto and love it so much to this day. I would watch this video all the time at work at least once or twice a day before I ever watch the show. The scenes in this video is what made me want to watch the entire show to figure out what was going on.

Wish the rest of fights in the show were this good, not to say i want all the fights to be gore-fests but you can almost feel the impact of each attack. the show could stand to be more hand to hand instead of all the dbz energy attacks it has now.

Obito's story is and will be one of the saddest stories of every anime.
RubikRem first i said "one of the" not the saddest. Itachi obviously had a worse past but in anime like naruto love is a little different than just "want a pussy" and being jealous of kakashi doesnt make him a bad guy. Naruto always had been jealous of sasuke too and loved sakura but he never saw sasuke kill sakura. Remember what happened when naruto thought hinata died? Obito is the crashed Naruto and if naruto's story is sad alone what that makes obito's life compared to naruto?

Obito was still very young back, then He gave his fckin eye to Kakashi and He saw Kakashi kill Rin, when everything Obito had was Kakashi and Rin. He lost his will to live, He had nothing. Do you remember what He said to Kakashi? Kakashi was their team's Sasuke and Kakashi may be a rogue ninja later, If Obito isnt there. How is that said that He was jealous of Kakashi and wanted Rin pussy? Like what? It doesnt matter It was a girl who He loved. It could have been his brother too, He just didnt have one, but the problem isnt that He lost a pussy, but that the person lost was the person that gave a meaning for his life.
RubikRem Oh and Obito was more brave then Kakashi and Obito got stronger then Kakashi when He got his sharingan. Kakashi without Obito's sharingan would be much weaker.
Itachi story was pretty damn sad. He had to become a antihero to protect his village and his little brother sasuke. He also had to murder everyone he once knew and called family. Betrayed his family and clan as well. I wont deny that obito had a very sad story but I think itachi was worse. He may not have lost the girl he loved like obito but he had to murder, betray his family and clan while also keeping it a secret from everyone, and remembered everyday until the day he died what he had done.

Matías Martín I was talking about his fight with Pain . He died there , remember ? And Nagato used Rinne Rebirth to bring everyone he killed back to life . Kakashi is barely featured in Boruto . And we don't know about his future . You should watch Boruto it may not be Naruto level but it's pretty damn good . It has some epic moments . And the whole thing is going to get serious when we get to the Kashin Koji stuff . Also I hear the manga is great . You should watch this show . It's pretty good .

Obito/Tobi was such an amazing char. Not only in Naruto, I mean overall in Animes. Intresting personality, intresting backround story, emontional fate etc. . I am dissapointed he ended the way he did.. just being used like a puppet all the time. Indeed 'Cruel World' .

This version of Obito always gives me heavy Grim Reaper vibes with the way he's cloaked, looking terrifying as hell. The guy is running through a small army, no one being able to even touch him but he just effortlessly slaughters them like they are nothing. Just the fact that he can't be touched but he can touch you already seems so otherworldly and quite creepy to be honest.
I agree. I feel the nickname "The Ghost Of The Uchiha" would have been better suited for Obito because of his kamui ability instead of Madara.
Just imagine if he would have both his MS, i mean Kakashi got the long range kamui and Obito had the self kamui. Its the most OP MS in the narutoverse and he only had the half of it.

Then this girl comes into your life and is the only one who gives you meaning in life and is actually nice. Then you see her get killed because of how shitty the world is. He also had Madara telling him how shitty the world is for a whole year so that's cool, and all he thought about was rin and once he gets out she dies, must feel super shitty. I mean, if you listen to the lyrics of the song, it fits perfectly.

I saw this amv when it first came out. I don’t really think it helped per se but I was at a very dark point in my life and now 7 years later I’m back in the darkness again. this video brings back so many memories, such a trip.
Obito is basically a version of Naruto that lost hope and found darkness. Most people hate him but he's my favorite character. I identify myself with him for so many reasons.
