Shows how kind-hearted she was.. So sad that such nice people have to go through this while there are disgusting killers still living without a care in the world..
It’s so tragic as Jayna tried to reason with Brittany & her attempt at peaceful resolution was greeted with a horrific slaughter 😔 and she screamed for help too 😔
I think this is the most difficult part to hear. The Apple employees heard her murder, and yet, didn’t even think to call police. Had they called police, she MIGHT have survived! Her savage murder wasn’t quick... it took time! With the evidence showing she was alive throughout the entire ordeal, she might have survived if someone had called 911!
The fact that Jayna was safely on her way home but turned back around because of Britney is really sad to me. You know she had no idea what she was about to walk into.
I believe this happened before the closing time like "bag check" before leaving. I think the "ready to go home & coming back" was just a cover up of britany story when she mentionned that "2 men attacked them". Jayna didnt leave and come back, they both closed the store that day and all that chaos happend in the backroom and britany stayed there all night it seems, hence why the doors werent locked when the manager came the next day. Hope that was clear 😊
@Reee around @18:10 its mentionned the DAY BEOFRE the murder that jayna called her manager about britany stealing and around @18:40 its mentionned that the DAY OF the murder jayna saw britany steal a pair of leggings and lied that a coworker already checked. Please do let me know the timestamps of what you're saying 😊
@Reee thanks for letting me know 😊 but oh shit thats wack then...britany must have just had it in the back of her mind to kill jayna to make her come back to the store like damn 🙄 but seems like in part 2 the murder happend during closing because she got caught stealing and didnt want jayna to snitch the next day
@Reee yes your theory does make sense. Maybe when jayna came back to the store britany must have threaten her to not snitch and jayna refused so an altercation must have happend and then it led to murder. But yeah the storyline is a little confusing but still that evil bitch deserves to rot in jail for real.
I feel so bad for the parents, Imagine sympathising for someone because you think they’ve felt all this pain along with your daughter but it turns out she’s actually the murderer.
yes exactly!! especially in bethesda row (i live in bethesda haha) it’s a very very very safe area but it’s also veryyy wealthy and it’s surprising that there aren’t more cameras in the area.
I’m sure if the attacker was racist he would’ve focused more attention on her and badly injured her more than the other women, first red flag for me, criminals tend to hang out with ppl with the same mindset
and to have found out so much about _her_ specifically, you'd think if anything, Brittany would have been the one to be in a worse state out of the two.
this is honestly so scary, but the most weirdest thing that happened was that brittany just laid there all night, with a dead body in the next room. the fact she could kill her like that there and then just lay there all night and just... idk i have no words, this is fucked.
This is why my coworkers (I’m closing shift) have no criminal history. It makes me so scared to work again but I’m just thinking that I know them all too well
I was thinking the same thing! I’m not finished with this video, but I feel like there was Jayna’s blood on Brittany and she knew there would be that’s why she said the men threw Brittany on Jayna. And you cannot make me believe a guy throwing racial slurs at Brittany but barely hurt her and inflicted over 300 wounds on Jayna? And their reasoning was because she was fun to screw? Yeah okay. Did they even have proof she was raped as she said?!
Something else that doesn’t make sense about her story is that one of the men was supposedly yelling racial slurs at her yet they completely mutilated the white women and spared her?? Completely contradicts itself
The conversation that the Apple employees heard also makes sense - ‘let’s just talk about it’ - it’s tragic to think that Jayna knew what was coming and wanted to discuss it rationally instead
Yeah exactly! Jayna was referring to the anger between the two of them due to Brittney stealing and possibly being fired. She was pleading with her to keep her life and just resolve the issue. So sad.
It’s so horrible how she was just laying there knowing there was a dead body in the next room and then when she kept asking if Jayne was okay knowing she was dead
They were crack-shots & dug into every potential lead. Plus they eventually saw through Brittany’s web of lies and slapped the cuffs on & the court gave her punishment that will force to live with what she did to Jayna
Not to undermine their work or anything but unless the police wanted to absolutely discard the case, it is quite apparent that there's something very wrong with the whole story. The biggest red flag is the difference between the damage each of the woman took. You don't need a huge amount of work to see through Brittany's story.
the fact that she said it was a tall and a short guy in black makes me think she either crosses them frequently when she leaves work or that she saw them pass by when she was inside and tried to frame them knowing they will pass by.
@@chelseslawton5753 well yeah she killed a lady to the point the couldn’t even tell who she was, and on top of that playing around in her blood, she’s crazy.
@@mahikav if you don't know what a germaphobe is Google says "a person with an extreme fear of germs and an obsession with cleanliness." But it can be diffrent for people and im saying im not like thsi but it was gross she did that (and it would be gross for everyone with a mind)
True but maybe she didn't know she was dead? Maybe unconscious and she was wondering if she was alright or not. Obviously as her cover up story, she obviously knew that she was dead
aimee trudgian she did know she was dead because the attacker supposedly said something along the lines of “we’re not going to kill you though because you were more fun to ****”, implying that they had killed Jayna
They probably don't. Video surveillance came out from the Apple store, showing the employees standing near the wall & listening to the noises coming from the store. The judge described the employees behavior as "callous indifference". As messed up as it is, no they probably don't care. They could have called the police but they opted to do nothing.
Kitty Stewart I bet they do feel guilty. Okay, they didn’t care before (a mistake that maybe a lot of us would have made) but I’m sure they feel awful about it now that they know what truly was happening.
A lot of very manipulative people tend to either fake or actually achieve degrees in social sciences. My ex husband is a very abusive and narcissistic person...he received a Bachelors in Psychology (and Bible-but that is a different story) and was trying to get a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Edit: My ex did a lot of things similar to Brittany. He stole $255,000 from his ex’s business and personal accounts. He stole the identities of his grandma, people at our church, and me. He lost his jobs frequently and would act like he was still working, but I found out that he was gambling, drinking, using drugs, and having affairs. He would react with rage all the time and I often feared for my life.
it’s scary because she ALMOST got away with it ok ok i get it she was caught can we stop yelling in the replies lol ANOTHER edit “no ones yelling” it’s called exaggeration :)
Jayna was attacked so brutally and brittany only got like 2-3-4 injuries? And was spared? Yea thats a lie she would never get away with it. R.I.P Jayna, You will always be remembered
I can not imagine this to not be premeditated. She "lost" her metro card, didn't call the manager who lived across the street from the store to open up the shop, gave a description of her "attackers" that matched two workers who she probably saw walk home every night, and just the overall circumstance - it may seem like a fit of rage, but the fact that she was most likely alive until the final blow just seems so odd. Was she going on until she died and then decided to stop once she was dead? I would imagine if it were a fit of rage she would have kept going, idk idk. Brittany definitely has some sort of mental illness, but to go from scamming/lying/petty theft to murdering someone like this seems like a big leap to make without thinking about it.
I think I agree. Maybe she did intent to harm her or even kill her but ended up being more violent than she herself could have expected (especially if she is suffering from a mental illness and snapped)
stop saying she's mentally ill because she murdered someone. can you not see how demonizing and fucked up that is to say when statistically mentally ill people are way more likely to experience violence than commit it. she's trying to manipulate people into letting her partly off the hook when it's very clear that she is just a cruel, calculating, manipulative person who was ready to do whatever for money
Mica It’s not that she murdered someone, it’s that she showed a pattern of behavior that may suggest that she has a mental illness. You cannot exclude mental illnesses that cause one to be violent or have a lack of empathy. We know there are different kinds of mental illness and varying degrees of them as well, and of course I’d say the majority of them are NOT related to psychopathy, but I’d argue that the path to destigmatizing includes getting this kind of person (Brittany) treatment before it ever gets to this point. The things she’s done just aren’t the actions of a person in stable mental condition
@@hannahjoy9648 lack of empathy doesn't mean lack of morals, lack of human decency or lack of compassion. as long as mentally ill people with stigmatized disorders are harmed and abused in real life because people buy into the dehumanizing demonization of them as "possibly dangerous", making sweeping statements about someone's lack of boundaries, respect for other people's property and disregard for both of those things being a product of mental illness is actively harmful. people can have a pattern of stealing without it being mental illness. people can do awful things without it being mental illness. as long as she's not actually diagnosed you're all just equating mental health issues with violent and dangerous behavior. which is stigma btw sometimes people are just evil and it does nobody any good to pathologize that behavior
Chloe Sherone I think I remember from another video about this case is that Brittany made a huge fuss about getting in trouble and was wrongly accused at the previous location or something so Lululemon just relocated her
Chloe Sherone i know what you mean cause normally they would check there history then they would see she work for one of there stores previously then they would have check ed why she no longer worked there then finding out she stole then they wont not have hired her so then it never would have happened like i know this is no were close to were i live but they would check that were i live
what got me to doubt her was the fact that one of the witnesses said that she heard someone say "please don't do this please just talk to me" Who would say that to a robber? It was clear to me that since there was something to "talk about" the person who did this knew them enough to have a problem that they would need to talk about. Which meant that they definitely could not have been a stranger.
The amount of injuries that Brittney caused Jayna is truly horrifying. The amount of rage she must have had over something so small is terrifying. Jayna must have been so scared 🥺 I can't ever imagine a person wanting to inflict such pain on another human being. Brittney is pure evil. RIP beautiful Jayna ❤️
BurnItUpp2009 she was probably jealous of her, (jayna was in charge, she was trusted, had an amazing boyfriend, was studying for a degree) stuff that Brittany wanted but couldn’t have because of her reputation of stealing, when jayna wanted to look at her bag, that gave her a more reason to hate her, she probably didn’t wanna get fired from this job and the fact that janya would have been the reason that she would get fired, gave her a reason to do all of this, I don’t know, this is just my theory and opinion on this all, overall she did a horrifying thing, this was an extremely hated murder.
@@nightcorebeatzx8652 somebody at the store told jayna about brittney stealing and jayna confronted her that night ...so brittney did this out of reveng and brittney knew come the next day she was gonna be fired..
ALSO, as Britanny wasn’t even that badly injured, surely after the “attackers” had gone; you would try and get the cable ties off or even try to like roll/shuffle towards the front of the store to get someone’s attention?? You wouldn’t just lay there with your arms above your head until the morning 😂😂
and she said the attackers were racist, which, brittany was a WOC and Jayna was white. It doesn't add up, Jayna died while Brittany had barely any injuries
It seemed suspicious to me when Brittany claimed to have lost her metro card but when they went back in the store to look for it, she didn’t even turn any lights on. You’d think if you’re looking for something you’d turn the light on? She didn’t want to bring any attention to the store by turning lights on.
they rebuilt it after the murder and added in a memorial. A few years ago, the store ended up moving a few doors down the street. It’s still open and I shop there regularly.
Girl right. It reminds me of a case in McDonald's, a girls obsession boyfriend shot and killed her in the drive thru. They opened it the next day like nothing happened
It chills me how she just lays there in an empty store with a dead gory body in the next room that was her doing. She’s actually Insane- the fact that there is more people out there like this.
The biggest red flag for me was when the apple employees next door said they heard a woman yelling "you don't have to do this, just talk to me". Why would Jayna say this to the attackers if they were random strangers with no personal motive against her? It was quite clear that it must have been an attacker that knew Jayna personally, which is why she assumed that the violence was due to some disagreement or argument. And who would it be other than Brittany?
Yep. Even if that “attacker” was someone she knew, since they would’ve probably been covered up by the clothes and a mask, she wouldn’t have known who it was Ah sorry if that was confusing - all i meant was that i agree with you
nah if someone attacks u u try empathy u try telling them to not hurt u etc so they can’t assume that immediately but yea the “just talk to me” does sound weird but only after they could piece it together
Rest in Peace Jayna Murray. Sorry you went through what happened to you especially since you walked into it, not knowing what Brittany was capable of. Sorry your life was taken so soon, I'm sure you were one of the nicest people in the world. 🕊 ❤️
Anyone who hurts someone else is not mentally there however, she clearly had put a lot of thought into staging herself, and lying to police. She knew what she was doing, she deserves to rot!
mo mo I understand why you’d feel this way about this but I think you don’t quite get what people mean when they say this. Just because the likeliness of a murder being somewhat mentally unstable is higher than for the average person, this DOESN‘T mean that every person that is mentally ill/ unstable is gonna commit a crime. This is not what people usually mean. Stupid example: When I say every serial killer loves dark coffee, lets just take it as a fact for the example lol, this does NOT mean every person that enjoys dark coffee as well is a serial killer. You get what I mean? I think just „being evil“ is not the reason especially if I‘m asking where the „pure evil“ is supposed to come from? As far as we know our behavior can be traced back to our brains and I would just assume that people that blatantly go and commit such a horrible murder just have something that isn’t working how it should up there. That doesn’t mean that every mentally ill person is evil especially since mental illness comes in so many different „shapes and forms“ I may say.
mo mo What I could agree on is that some people may confuse being mentally ill with being mentally unstable I guess. I think the second one is what most people actually refer to when they talk about murderers.
Mentally ill or not she is pure evil. I hate when people say murderers are mentally ill to comit crimes because there are people with mental health issues who wouldnt dream of doing anything like this. You cant blame everything on mental illness because she still knows right from wrong.
Shelly Brady i agree with you but in certain cases, mental illness allows for evil people to do what they’re doing. brittany probably has anti-social personality disorder or something similar to be able to hurt someone so badly and not feel any remorse at all. most people without mental illnesses (and even with mental illnesses) couldn’t do that.
Did anyone else think that if she "went back to find her metro card", one of the first things she would do is turn the lights on, she looked and "still couldn't find it" so she would definitely then have to put the lights on. She didn't because she didn't want to attract any attention from the outside.
Dilek Jemal right and the fact that she couldn’t find it wouldn’t match up because it’s almost implying that someone stole it. Well the “intruders” weren’t in the store at the time so there’s no reason for your card to be misplaced.
Exactly. This went over my head but I found it very strange that she didn’t turn on any of the lights to FIND her metro card, and the “intruders” weren’t even there yet so why wouldn’t her card be in the same place?
The entire story about going back to find her metro card was suspicious to me. I've used DC metro, and I've worked retail. After a late night shift, I wouldn't have gone back for a metro card. If it were something really important and sensitive like my driver's license, or debit card, or entire wallet, maybe. However, just a metro card? Nah. I'd rather just get home! I certainly wouldn't have been calling around to all my co-workers unless it were a dire emergency. She needed her metro card to get home? No, she didn't. It's easy to buy a single fare with DC metro, even late at night, because they have self-serve kiosks that will take credit cards, debit cards, or even cash! Unless she was completely broke other than the balance on her metro card, she didn't need it to get home. It would be a lot more believeable that someone who forgot their metro card after a late shift would just buy a single fare to get home, and then call the next morning to ask co-workers to keep an eye out for it. Even if the card was lost for good. With DC Metro, if your card gets lost or stolen, you can call to cancel it and transfer the remaining balance to a new card. The idea that it was such a big emergency that she had to go back that night was absurd.
I keep thinking about Rachel and Ryan, and how traumatic it must have been when they stumbled upon the scene that morning. I hope they are coping okay.
Ok but like you have a point.I suspected that it was was Brittany and I was right lol.I just kept on thinking abt how awful it must have been for Rachel and Ryan and how they must’ve felt, and also that Ryan didn’t know that Brittany was the murderer and he also helped her and FACED HER AND HAD NO IDEA.Brittany is so sick for that and also playing around in BLOOD so that she wouldn’t get caught like what-
My thought too. It's a good excuse for any fingerprints or other DNA too. It's scary how well-thought-out this was. Obviously there were some critical mistakes in her plan, but in general it was pretty brilliant.
I noticed in the first part that Jayna said “please don’t do this, talk to me” and for me that indicates that she must’ve known the person who murdered her therefore I thought Brittney was suspicious from the start.Rest in peace Jayna I hope you fly high :)
I feel like it was premeditated because how would she know those men would be walking around that time before the assault was taking place to turn the blame on them. The height description was accurate and everything, she was trying to cover her tracks.
Jassie K they did that every night so she probably just noticed it. if it was premeditated i don’t think her story and the crime scene would be so messy and inconsistent
I think she planned it over the day so she didn't know exactly what she was going to do but that she wanted to do it that day because of her anger. So she told Jayna she left her Metro card then when she arrived she argued with her, grabbed a bunch of random things and killed her and the rest happened
Or it could have been a thing that she noticed on the night and used them to roughly base the description of the ‘attackers’ on. Being as though the were many sloppy mistakes it most likely wasn’t premeditated but a last minute thing. It’s also an opinion so please don’t come for me 😂
You know how the apple store employees heard two women screaming, what if Brittany was mocking her while killing her. 😳😳 It was 100% premeditated, the fact that she knew to point out the two guys in black, because she knows those two guys walk by the store almost every night. Soooo.. 👀
@@almirakamka5325 Right?! This one still sticks with me. 😔 It seems as though she enjoyed it and that's just terrifying. 😳 Okay, morbid,(like it wasn't already 😅) what do you think she's like in prison. what if brittanys ex boyfriend that she stole from and stalked, was jaynas new boyfriend who was going to propose to her and thats why brittany killed jayna
omg, no way! you liked my comment! i would just like to say... eleanor, you’re my queen! i absolutely LOVE your videos & i always look forward to them, especially during times like these. keep doing you sis. much love, stay healthy & safe. 🥰💕
Same! She was so suspicious, she could’ve made a better story, like they completely broke in from the back, no idea if that would’ve worked, she could’ve said they had gloves
Same! Like I saw a TikTok explaining the murder but I didn’t think that much about it. But it was still entertaining to watch part 1 and part 2 even though I know how the case ended
In her mind it was more than just leggings, being potentially fired and loosing the opportunity to work at her dream job was clearly the main motivation behind the killing
My dad used to say “you lie, you’d cheat, you cheat you, you’d steal, you steal, you’d kill”. Couldn’t be more true in this case. Also coming from someone who’s spent quite a bit of time in retail I’m shocked that she was caught stealing from another store and was hired on again.
No seriously I understand people stealing things because they cannot afford them, when they are legitimately not in a good position financially, or STH. Even stealing things like earrings from teammates and stuff, while a dick move is not uncommon, especially when you're a teen or a kid and enjoy the "thrill" of it. But this is a grown ass Woman stealing leggings...like??? She MURDERED someone over LEGGINGS.
The theft at university was a huge red flag to the police once they began looking into Brittany. Then the previous firing at another LuluLemon for stealing was a lynchpin for her motive once they blew her faux attacker story apart.
@@aoifedempsey4011 yeah also if brittany was a victim it would be so weird to bring up her stealing, like the other lady was painted so well and then brittany it was like “she robbed people”
she's crazy how can someone after killing a person just lay in their blood for hours what was she doing just laying there in the blood waiting until someone finds her wtf
Unknown I think she spent that time staging + still attacking jayna. Because in part 1, it was said that jayna likely wasn’t conscious for all of it, and attacking someone over 300 times is a lot. So I think she spent a long time attacking her / picking different weapons / etc. (She wasn’t in a rush because jayna wasn’t conscious. So she could take her time). Then she had to drive the car / walk back (and hiding the stolen money). I doubt she would’ve moved the blood yet because then she’d look way too bloody for the walk back. So when she got back she probably did all the staging. I think she only tied herself up at the very end. There’s a lot of components of this crime and for one person, it probably would’ve taken a while
I think the craziest thing about this case is that it really was so random. You think you're going to go to work just like any other day of the week only to beaten to death by your crazy ass coworker
I can't understand how you have a loving family, loving friends, you grew up in a stable home, a great job, a hobby you genuinely enjoy, and just so much lined up for you but you throw it all away for some petty theft and then brutally murder someone.
Me too. When it was said shw started stealing in college and her story had been said, although they were a family of 9 they had a comfortable life, I said, 'she killed that girl' and damn. It was just so odd, let alone she steals amd gets rehired in the same company.
Wow! Lululemon REALLY did a great job of minimizing the coverage of this case! I live only an hr away from the Lululemon in Bathesda and I’ve never ever heard this case
jumping from kleptomancy to brutal premeditated murder is pretty fucking drastic. if you "knew" she had to be the murderer just because of that, you might want to do some self-reflecting 🤨
I thought it was suspicious that the wounds on Brittany had versus Jana’s wounds were so different. Why would they leave her alive with only superficial wounds? And Jana had a collapsed skull???
When she mentioned 331 wounds in the first part n most of them were Focused on face... I immediately thought it was very personal n I was skeptical any random person would do that... N now that I read the comments... I had suspicion on Brittany n it's confirmed like she was kinda obvious... But y'all remember the story she told n the imaginary attacker said "she was more fun to fuck" that's disgusting 😶
And if Brittany’s “stalkers” were just waiting for the perfect moment to attack, wouldn’t they have attacked her during the time she was alone waiting for Jayna to come open up the store so she can get her metro card??
I think she snapped after she left and wanted to hurt her so she called her back by getting her number from coworkers. I feel like if it was pre-meditated she would have got her number during their shift. Idk just what I think tho
@@keelyjade3010 yeah I think so too cause of the overkill factor seemed like she snapped but honestly could go either way with her since she was so messed up in the head. What a horrendous ending to a beautiful young woman life!
I'm not sure about the premeditation aspect of the murder. Had it premeditated, Brittany would have gotten the number prior to this, but based on her story, she got the number after realising that her metro card was not in her bag. The part i don't understand, is how a person can go from casually calling someone for the purpose of collecting their card, to brutally murdering them in a short period of time. Now granted, I'm not a psychologist nor do i understand what was going on in her mind during that moment, but if we're to believe that this just happened spontaneously without any planning, then we also have to believe that Brittany was mentally ill and could therefore, not control her actions or rather the rate at which her rage encouraged the extent of the killing! 🤦♀️ It's just crazy! 🤷🏽♀️
I think maybe she had *thought* about hurting Jenna before (since she was so mentally unstable) but didn’t actually have a solid plan in mind until the heat of the moment when it went down.
The night of the murder, the apple employee said they heard “just talk to me” and pleading (from the first video) and just thinking about how Jayna was trying to reason and talk to brittany while she was mercilessly wounding her is just heart breaking
Me when the first part was uploaded: *googles what happened* Also Me: "I'm gonna pretend I didnt see that" *watches part 2 like I dont know what happened*
The fact that Eleanor can keep so calm while talking about the murderers and keep the suspense until the end is an amazing skill!! I wouldn’t be able to talk about some of these people so calmly knowing the crimes they committed
I honestly feel like the Apple employees didn't do anything because they heard 2 women. They probably thought it was just a disagreement between 2 people cause you never really believe a woman is capable of killing someone.
Re: The question of this being a premeditated murder; I always thought premeditated murder means you thought about/planned it beforehand. And, while it does in fact mean that, I remember watching a true-crime documentary (on television), where a lawyer explained that there is another part of/way to define premeditated murder and that is, any action the perpetrator takes that provides them with "a moment of pause and reflection." The example this lawyer gave was, when the killer stops their violent actions/attack to change weapons. She explained that every time they stop to retrieve another weapon, is moment in time where they have an opportunity for self-reflection and can stop what they're doing. That was the first time I ever heard about premeditation also being defined this way. And if you stop and think about HOW MANY different weapons were used in this absolutely mind-blowingy horrific murder, it means that each time Brittany put down one weapon to retrieve another, there was an opportunity for her to have a moment of reflection and then, choose to either stop or continue. Clearly, she chose the latter...many many times. (Totally acknowledging that this comment turned into a whole novel but, this case just always stuck with me!!)
True in this case, but it's well known that in order to try to save your own life, you should talk to and try and make the attacker feel empathy for you.
Cyanemirulez Gaming she most likely was fighting with her before she murdered her, probably that’s what the shouting was, jayna tried to save herself, but brittney is was way too deep in hatred and jealousy to even care..so sad.
Detective: Where did the attacker get the zip ties from? Brittany: His bag Detective: But there was a stack of zip ties in the store Brittany: 👀 Can I go home??
it's crazy how someone can murder you over a pair of lululemon tights, like it doesn't make sense...you have to be next level messed up in the head in order to murder someone who hasn't done anything to you but feeling that jayna was a liability, she(brittany) murdered jayna. I was lowkey convinced that she about to get away with it...but she got caught and is now in a jail cell and rightly so.
My mind is still spinning at the discount part - $100 leggings and $75 shirts pre-70% discount and she bought TWO GRAND worth?? That’s easily a month worth of outfits without repeating a single item. No way she wasn’t hawking it all on the side for way higher prices than what she paid
I think the price limit they had was without the discount, so they couldn't spend more than $1000 with the original prices of the clothing. So whatever they bought was totalled with normal price but then the discount was added on, so they were able to see how much they were spending & how much money the store was losing. Does that make scene? I know what I mean I just can't find the right words to explain lmao
Jin's Hoe I got you. The cap was $1000 with their 70% discount so they’d get a bunch more stuff than if it was at normal cost and since this shit is so expensive, yeah, could easily be hawked if the employees weren’t capped at spending $1000 total with their discount bc of how many more clothing items they could buy. Idk why, but as a white chick myself, I still see the name LuLuLemon and think basic white bitch and pumpkin spice lattes lol that shit is SO expensive. I thought Athleta was pricey, and it is, but it’s still far more reasonable than LuLuLemon. I have yet to see anything from LuLu that makes me think that clothing could possibly be worth that much money. It’s paying for the brand name 100%. Their stuff is pretty plain too. Maybe I’m missing out and there’s something about LuLuLemon leggings that are fabulous and unlike any other leggings, but I mean... they’re leggings and sports bras.
When Brittney states that she was the one specifically targeted, wouldn’t she have been the one that would’ve gotten the most injuries, considering she was the one who was “targeted” and not Jayna. I know what really happened in the murder, but logically if Brittany was the one being targeted, she would’ve been the one more seriously injured and murdered, not Jayna.
the fact that she called jayna back to the store when the store manager lived across the street and could have opened the store for her should have been the first red flag 🚩
Reeboka D I would hope that the apple employees who didn’t call the cops should feel more guilty! If they called the cops then Jayna still might be alive
TipTheScales27 100%! Especially the security guard who’s job is to literally investigate and prevent these things from happening. Just extremely sad for the work colleague as she didn’t know that giving the number would result in such a horrible thing 🥺
@@Thisbrickwall it's a fact tho what kinda BULLSHIT is that? what kinda security guard is that who wouldn't check just to see if everything was okay after so much screaming and weird noises? It was a long time ago I don't wish that kind of guilt on anyone forever but... its a fact it sucks and they could have prevented it had they called the cops. we will usually call the cops in my neighborhood if we hear loud screaming like that (usually domestic violence, but it has happened) better to call the cops for nothing than to stand there and blame yourself for hearing about it later and knowing you didn't do shit about it
Could you imagine using an excuse of "I can't walk my in graduation ceremony because I have outstanding student loans." Guess no one is walking in their ceremony
Bad excuse I mean ... At our university instead of giving your your degree they put your bill in there ... But at the end of the day you get to graduate
This is my theory about how Brittany got some of her story: When she was working at Lululemon, she noticed the men dressed in black with a height difference walk past the store. She knew that they worked for the restaurant, but if she put the blame on them her story might seem a little more believable.
I thought the exact same thing in the first video when them guys walked by at the same time so it must be a routine thing which Brittany would have seen almost every day and she also works around them size 14 shoes which would fit well together-
Gerard Way is my bae how so?????? you know detectives who work on real cases theorize right? they form theories. i say this in the nicest way: get out of your feelings.
i hope the comment section doesnt also move on ipads. I don’t like it because on my phone when i go to a comments replies i keep on accidentally pressing the x button instead of the back button
She had the intent of attacking her bc she said Rachel lives across the road so she could’ve just asked her for the key but she specifically asked for the other woman to come back.
yes and she said that she asked her because she was the only one that had the keys to the store but rachel was a manager so like she would of had the keys too!?
Think one of the articles I read was Jayna was leaving the store and was on the phone with her manager telling her that there was something off about Brittany & was going to confront her. The prosecution said that when Jayna was confronting Brittany and was going to alert Rachel about Brittany’s theft that it set off Brittany and she attacked and murdered Jayna
I'm confused as to why Brittany didn't want to murder Rachel instead since she was the decision maker who received the report. Jayna already reported it so it seems like it was vengeance more than protecting her l reputation
I usually don't like talking videos like this due to them being boring, and I usually just opt straight for the interrogation or a video with more evidence reveals such as live footage, but I really love how you report the crime with so much detail, and you're thoroughly clear on the sequence of events, and you don't have overdramatic responses. You also don't waste time or get off topic so Im subscribing.
It’s so sad that Jayne said “please don’t do this , talk to me” she believed she was redeemable
Shows how kind-hearted she was.. So sad that such nice people have to go through this while there are disgusting killers still living without a care in the world..
😞
So sad! She clearly thought that Britany would never do something like this so her! :(
why
the words talk to me were very crucial, as you wouldnt just say that to a stranger
her saying “please don’t do this. Just talk to me” makes so much more sense now
It’s so tragic as Jayna tried to reason with Brittany & her attempt at peaceful resolution was greeted with a horrific slaughter 😔 and she screamed for help too 😔
It breaks my fucking heart....
That’s when I knew exactly what happened.
It honestly does... But then again, Jayna would've had to turn Britany in... Poor Jayna...
It's so sad that it literally could have been avoided. 😢
I feel so bad for the parents, Imagine sympathising for someone because you think they’ve felt all this pain along with your daughter but it turns out she’s actually the murderer.

First off pfp it’s on everything and 2 you’re comment is literally something I agree with
The craziest thing about this whole case is the fact that lululemon didn’t have a single CCTV , like this shop has quite expensive shit in there.
No kidding. You think it would be logical to have security.
nimca ahmed this is why I didn’t take the job at another store there was no cctv in the store at all and it just doesn’t sit right with me
Jess C good choice not taking that job I wouldn’t either
That is so true and they took nothing because I could have sold those cloths for a lot of money🤔🤔🤔🤔
yes exactly!! especially in bethesda row (i live in bethesda haha) it’s a very very very safe area but it’s also veryyy wealthy and it’s surprising that there aren’t more cameras in the area.
I’m sure if the attacker was racist he would’ve focused more attention on her and badly injured her more than the other women, first red flag for me, criminals tend to hang out with ppl with the same mindset
さはむ wow didn’t think of this one, but so true
and to have found out so much about _her_ specifically, you'd think if anything, Brittany would have been the one to be in a worse state out of the two.
minahil Yh your right because she was petite in build as well so it would’ve been worse for her
さはむ also If they were racist, she was black so she would’ve been the target
さはむ and she said they said they spared her because she was “better to f*ck” WHO DOES THAT??🤢😖😖😖
this is honestly so scary, but the most weirdest thing that happened was that brittany just laid there all night, with a dead body in the next room. the fact she could kill her like that there and then just lay there all night and just... idk i have no words, this is fucked.
She probably thought that they were outside or she was to weak to wiggle her way to the door but that's no excuse 😒
Emily Titchmarsh she was probably unconscious
@@suckurmumcentral3863 how could she be unconscious?
Something else that doesn’t make sense about her story is that one of the men was supposedly yelling racial slurs at her yet they completely mutilated the white women and spared her?? Completely contradicts itself

@@alexah618 black girl?
The conversation that the Apple employees heard also makes sense - ‘let’s just talk about it’ - it’s tragic to think that Jayna knew what was coming and wanted to discuss it rationally instead
Yeah it's so sad. They had every right to fire her for stealing and she just wanted to live.
Yeah exactly! Jayna was referring to the anger between the two of them due to Brittney stealing and possibly being fired. She was pleading with her to keep her life and just resolve the issue. So sad.
Yea the talk to me broke my heart
It’s so horrible how she was just laying there knowing there was a dead body in the next room and then when she kept asking if Jayne was okay knowing she was dead
Think she disassociated herself from the murder and trying to keep her little victim act going
Hmm maybe she was trying to make sure that Jayna really was dead and not in a coma or something
@@sugarspells8781 yh so that the story Brittany made up could look real

Right? Still. In. Quarantine.
Facts lol
When the police wants to do a good job, they REALLY do a good job
They were crack-shots & dug into every potential lead. Plus they eventually saw through Brittany’s web of lies and slapped the cuffs on & the court gave her punishment that will force to live with what she did to Jayna
So true
Not to undermine their work or anything but unless the police wanted to absolutely discard the case, it is quite apparent that there's something very wrong with the whole story. The biggest red flag is the difference between the damage each of the woman took. You don't need a huge amount of work to see through Brittany's story.
the fact that she said it was a tall and a short guy in black makes me think she either crosses them frequently when she leaves work or that she saw them pass by when she was inside and tried to frame them knowing they will pass by.

WOAH! good spot!! if onlt the police noticed that earlier

Exactly!! I just though I misinterpreted something so I just disregarded it.
I can’t imagine how guilty those Apple employees feel now
They probably don't. Video surveillance came out from the Apple store, showing the employees standing near the wall & listening to the noises coming from the store. The judge described the employees behavior as "callous indifference". As messed up as it is, no they probably don't care. They could have called the police but they opted to do nothing.
Kitty Stewart where did you find the video surveillance please?
Kitty Stewart I bet they do feel guilty. Okay, they didn’t care before (a mistake that maybe a lot of us would have made) but I’m sure they feel awful about it now that they know what truly was happening.
Good.
Mamaccita if i heard people screaming in a store that was supposed to be closed id call the police. They didnt care. Dont protect them
They could have fired Brittany so many times before the incident. Also, I find it ironic that she faked a degree in Sociology and Psychology

Jayna was attacked so brutally and brittany only got like 2-3-4 injuries? And was spared? Yea thats a lie she would never get away with it. R.I.P Jayna, You will always be remembered
@Erewa Ommy almost meaning her “story” had a good run and would have took off if there weren’t holes
Agreed! To have that level of over kill doesn't seem like just a crime of passion
@@hannahjoy9648 lack of empathy doesn't mean lack of morals, lack of human decency or lack of compassion.
as long as mentally ill people with stigmatized disorders are harmed and abused in real life because people buy into the dehumanizing demonization of them as "possibly dangerous", making sweeping statements about someone's lack of boundaries, respect for other people's property and disregard for both of those things being a product of mental illness is actively harmful.
people can have a pattern of stealing without it being mental illness. people can do awful things without it being mental illness. as long as she's not actually diagnosed you're all just equating mental health issues with violent and dangerous behavior.
which is stigma btw
sometimes people are just evil and it does nobody any good to pathologize that behavior
What confuses me is the fact that Brittany was hired by this Lululemon store after being fire from another Lululemon store for theft?
In part one it was mentioned she stole from the lululemon she worked at previously. She ended up getting fired from that store due to that.
I was also highly confused because of this
Brittany: **has a history of theft**
The Lululemon store: hmm, that’s a little sketchy... **hires her anyway**
I didn’t even look this up but as soon as you mentioned Brittany’s stealing problem I knew it was her 😭😭
Christie Shaelle Yup same. When she described the crime scene it kept pointing to her even more
Me too! I thought that was an odd thing to say about the victim so I knew she did it..
what got me to doubt her was the fact that one of the witnesses said that she heard someone say "please don't do this please just talk to me" Who would say that to a robber? It was clear to me that since there was something to "talk about" the person who did this knew them enough to have a problem that they would need to talk about. Which meant that they definitely could not have been a stranger.
yah same and that she said they knew her address what how
I'm deadd loll

The amount of injuries that Brittney caused Jayna is truly horrifying. The amount of rage she must have had over something so small is terrifying. Jayna must have been so scared 🥺 I can't ever imagine a person wanting to inflict such pain on another human being. Brittney is pure evil. RIP beautiful Jayna ❤️
What's even more scary is that these people exist.
I live across from where this happend...ive seen jayna and brittney before..this case will always stay with me.

ALSO, as Britanny wasn’t even that badly injured, surely after the “attackers” had gone; you would try and get the cable ties off or even try to like roll/shuffle towards the front of the store to get someone’s attention?? Imagine stealing leggings lol

Yep. Even if that “attacker” was someone she knew, since they would’ve probably been covered up by the clothes and a mask, she wouldn’t have known who it was
Ah sorry if that was confusing - all i meant was that i agree with you
@ebony b Bit of a weird (and frankly stupid) thing to say to a robber. No one asks a robber to "talk to them."
I was sort of suspicious of her since the beginning because of her stealing problem but it all sort of- connects now

Amen 🙏🙌❤️
You cant blame everything on mental illness because she still knows right from wrong.
mo mo it’s impossible to be “evil” and not mentally ill. Antisocial personality disorder is a mental illness.
Broo
Also, why would Jayna have a metro card if she had a car? She wouldn’t need it on her 😑

I bet Brittany said she was thrown on Jayna’s body as an excuse for having Jayna’s blood on her
My thought too.
Literally same!!! Thats when I really thought it was Brittney.
See? Now I feel stupid af. Maybe I shouldn't be pulling so many all nighters...
honestly i knew it from the start...too much "coincidences" and details out of place.
whenever there's two victims found and one is dead and one is barely injured, it is suspicious af and i always assume the survivor did it
Exactly!
Usually yes because most people are unable to injure themselves badly.
I think she probably saw them a few times already and just used them in the story as something actually real to build her fake story around.
It’s also an opinion so please don’t come for me 😂
I love how we are all coming up with all these theories lol our little group would make amazing detectives😎
You know how the apple store employees heard two women screaming, what if Brittany was mocking her while killing her. 😳😳
It was 100% premeditated, the fact that she knew to point out the two guys in black, because she knows those two guys walk by the store almost every night. Soooo.. 👀

Same! She was so suspicious, she could’ve made a better story, like they completely broke in from the back, no idea if that would’ve worked, she could’ve said they had gloves
same though! XD
I was a good boy and waited!
Same! Like I saw a TikTok explaining the murder but I didn’t think that much about it. But it was still entertaining to watch part 1 and part 2 even though I know how the case ended
She did this for some leggings ? Like poor Jayna she was just doing her job.
In her mind it was more than just leggings, being potentially fired and loosing the opportunity to work at her dream job was clearly the main motivation behind the killing
The weirdest part is her just lying there all night.
The creepiest thing!
In Jayna's blood and Jayna's dead body in the next room. She is out of her mind that is pure evil
She was there 10 hours before the police came like wtf
I couldn’t help thinking this 😷
and the door was left open too! 🤢
Exactly! Bad habits start small but grow into something bigger. So so sad for poor Jayna 💙
She MURDERED someone over LEGGINGS.
huge jump from theft to murder but it's so true how quickly crimes escalate
I had a feeling Brittany had something to do with this. She sounded suspicious in part 1 when she was caught stealing at uni.
When I heard her story of what happened I was like yeah as if
Yeah the second o heard Eleanor say that I knew Brittany had something to do with it cause otherwise it would be irrelevant
The theft at university was a huge red flag to the police once they began looking into Brittany. Then the previous firing at another LuluLemon for stealing was a lynchpin for her motive once they blew her faux attacker story apart.
@@aoifedempsey4011 yeah also if brittany was a victim it would be so weird to bring up her stealing, like the other lady was painted so well and then brittany it was like “she robbed people”
That's my name ah I thought it was her
she's crazy how can someone after killing a person just lay in their blood for hours what was she doing just laying there in the blood waiting until someone finds her wtf
There’s a lot of components of this crime and for one person, it probably would’ve taken a while
She probably tried not to get caught
What a insane monster... gives me chills
Eleanor's disclaimer : I mean no disrespect to anyone in this video
Also Eleanor : Brittany is a disgusting person
😂😂😂
Omg you liked my comment🥰 absolutely love you for making this quarantine a bit better! Thank you for the work you put in🥰
It's respectful to tell the truth
i think she meant the non-murderers in the video lol
😂😂It was a joke. Did y'all even watch the rest of her videos 😂😂
Lol Brittany stabbed Jayna over 300 times. It's well deserved 😆
Over 300 wounds is hatred, rage, and viciousness. I knew who it was last episode as I am sure many people did haha
The nerve of her to pretend she had a degree... in psychology.
she do tho, she's a psycho
Seriously though. The irony.
exactly she needs psychological help
A lot of people who do psychology are bat shit crazy tho
more like a degree in psychopathy
I think the craziest thing about this case is that it really was so random. You think you're going to go to work just like any other day of the week only to beaten to death by your crazy ass coworker
Yeah you really don’t know anyone. Scary af
It really is crazy, at a Kroger in my hometown there was a female supervisor stabbed by one of the male employees and it was all on surveillance.
Nekita4550 and the fact that jayna would’ve had such an amazing life, her boyfriend was going to propose and she had two degrees

I can't understand how you have a loving family, loving friends, you grew up in a stable home, a great job, a hobby you genuinely enjoy, and just so much lined up for you but you throw it all away for some petty theft and then brutally murder someone.
head injury during childhood... many murders, especially those with normal/loving lives have traumatic head injuries as children.
She were just Crazy/A Thief
Crazy is Crazy
She was born a psychopath
Me too. When it was said shw started stealing in college and her story had been said, although they were a family of 9 they had a comfortable life, I said, 'she killed that girl' and damn.
It was just so odd, let alone she steals amd gets rehired in the same company.
fir the petty theft part I think it’s clear she was a kleptomaniac and for the second part she was probably psychological liar.
Wow! Lululemon REALLY did a great job of minimizing the coverage of this case! I live only an hr away from the Lululemon in Bathesda and I’ve never ever heard this case

Me now: Ah, yes.
That’s what gave it away for me in the very beginning
@@Madison-ok4sc Especially since Eleanor doesn't try to sway our opinions or paint someone in bad light
Well it was pretty obvious that was why!
That and the part about how the other woman was brutalized while Brittany just had superficial wounds.
jumping from kleptomancy to brutal premeditated murder is pretty fucking drastic. if you "knew" she had to be the murderer just because of that, you might want to do some self-reflecting 🤨
!!! Definitely some type of sick competition in her head, plus it was said jayna was more likable
She should’ve just bought some fake lulus from wish wtf
I know this is a joke but Wish didn’t exist in 2011
She was not poor. She steal for the thrill of it.
And if Brittany’s “stalkers” were just waiting for the perfect moment to attack, wouldn’t they have attacked her during the time she was alone waiting for Jayna to come open up the store so she can get her metro card??
Oath
right also how would the stalkers now that they were going to “forget” their stuff??
Makes total sense!
Nooo they would totally wait till there’s another person there and kill that one
Kinda- but if the “stalkers” did that than they would’ve been caught because Brittany didn’t have the key, Jayna did.
I definitely believe this was premeditated. she called her back for a reason.
Sophia Watson And the card was probably not there. All just a lie to buy time
I think she snapped after she left and wanted to hurt her so she called her back by getting her number from coworkers.

@Di M No problem! Yeah, me neither (as I already said) but, it does make total sense! Hope you stay safe and well! 😁
@Di M Thank you! 😘
‘Please can we just talk’ sounds like they were trying to resolve some kind of problems. You wouldn’t need to resolve anything with a stranger .
Cyanemirulez Gaming uh if you wanna negotiate for your own life you do.

it's crazy how someone can murder you over a pair of lululemon tights, like it doesn't make sense...you have to be next level messed up in the head in order to murder someone who hasn't done anything to you but feeling that jayna was a liability, she(brittany) murdered jayna. I was lowkey convinced that she about to get away with it...but she got caught and is now in a jail cell and rightly so.
Karma is real... There is no way she would've gotten away with this! Far from it!

Lexie Madz yah I agree but I have to vouch that their leggings are my absolute fave material in my opinion after trying many different brands💗
That’s a good point! I never thought of that
Its so unusual how the store was high end and yet had no cctv inside the store, especially since they had suspicion of her stealing 🤔
Thst us weird
yea and it’s lululemon it’s expensive i’m pretty sure my lululemon has cameras and during the day there’s also guards
I think it’s surprising how many retail stores don’t have cctv
I've worked in many retail stores, it's not unusual haha and a lot of them have false cameras
@@jodalinasparty9718 That's surprising. The tiny cafe I worked in had security cameras. Mostly so the manager could see what the closers were doing
the fact that she called jayna back to the store when the store manager lived across the street and could have opened the store for her should have been the first red flag 🚩
Also the fact she SPECIFICALLY asked for Jayna
Imagine how guilty the work colleague who gave Britney Jayna’s number feels 😓

This is my theory about how Brittany got some of her story: When she was working at Lululemon, she noticed the men dressed in black with a height difference walk past the store. She knew that they worked for the restaurant, but if she put the blame on them her story might seem a little more believable.
I thought the exact same thing in the first video when them guys walked by at the same time so it must be a routine thing which Brittany would have seen almost every day and she also works around them size 14 shoes which would fit well together-

Alyssa Black then why didn’t Rachel mention this when the cops talked to her?
I'm confused as to why Brittany didn't want to murder Rachel instead since she was the decision maker who received the report. Jayna already reported it so it seems like it was vengeance more than protecting her l reputation
I usually don't like talking videos like this due to them being boring, and I usually just opt straight for the interrogation or a video with more evidence reveals such as live footage, but I really love how you report the crime with so much detail, and you're thoroughly clear on the sequence of events, and you don't have overdramatic responses.
