I heard a story of a man under a woman’s bed she had got her mail whilst talking to her bf over the phone. She’d dropped her phone saw a man and tried not to panic she told her bf she’s goin to take a shower she turned on the shower. Then she jumped out of her first story window called the cops and they told her to wait across the street to see if anyone came out.when the cops came out they told her the man had a knife waiting outside the bathroom door.

I immidietly got suspicious of Brittany when her wounds weren't too bad, if someone was going to kill Jayna, and be so brutal they would've been the same with Brittany, they would have MADE SURE she was dead. And when Eleanor started talking about how she would steal.

Marylander here! Bethesda is actually one of the rich/“high class” areas of Maryland. Literally NOTHING happens there. This awful case completely SHOOK the community in SO many ways. All of the rich/“high class” areas of Maryland were in absolute shock and began upping security. Every time I hear this story it completely breaks me.
That's what I was thinking like it's kind of higher class wealth area.
This is why i carry PEPPER SPRAY when i take my dog out to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

i don’t know if anyone else has heard of the Van Breda murders, but almost an entire family was murdered with 2 survivors. one was severely injured, but the other had lots of very superficial wounds and it turned out that he was the one who had committed the murders. i think it’s definitely the same case here!! superficial wounds are a way perpetrators try and make themselves appear as if they are a victim but obviously it is simply too painful to significantly injure yourself

Thats called transference. There is many ways that the person that stabs u forty times might have not known u at all. Soooo many serial killers have stabbed forty times and a whole lot more and had never met their victims.

About the hair pulling, I can't be sure but I know that some victims pull out their own hair for police to identify them- it's a tip I've seen given that if you're attacked, especially if you know you don't have a chance of surviving, you should pull out some of your hair or someting similar that would help investigators identify you. Again, just the first thought I had, don't know how accurate it is
I do this when being attacked or having a panic attack DNA evidence if needed

How would that help? Unless your body is decapitated, there's going to be plenty of hair to test... You're better off pulling out your attacker's hair, or leaving them with scratches and their DNA under your nails...

@@gillianwills9049 Because they move your body. It is a good idea to try and leave DNA at each location. Anybody even halfway likely to get away with it, has got rid of the body. But DNA shows that you were at the location.
Definitely trying to get their DNA on you is important. That is one of the reasons that so many people are incriminated due to evidence on the victim.

My theory for the tool box being on-top of the dead victim:
I think the tool box was placed on the victims back in order to make sure she doesn’t escape, Maybe while the murder was getting things to use to murder them, They placed the box on their back in order to hear if they try to escape..? Though it wouldn’t make much sense since it was still on their back after they had passed.

The real question is why don’t they have a camera? And the fact that their shop is so “expensive”.
Because often low wage sector jobs do not care to invest in any security systems. They often pay minimum wage and no benefits despite having the money to.
Right they probably make all that money and don’t invest on the safety of their employees been there done that....my old job was terrifying as a manager because even after near robberies the owner still refused security and rarely checked the cameras .......it was only a matter of time I thought before something like this happened to me. Smh this woman died at work .....imagine how shitty that was

Even though this is a "hometown murder" for me, and I know almost everything there is to know about this case, it's still so shocking hearing the details read out in a timeline.

Probably 6 years old and me and my mom were at the dollar store and long story short I showed my mom what a stole. It was a hippocampus stuffed animal 😂😂😂. She legit beat my ass. After that day I knew, never steal. I guess when it comes to Brittany she was caught once with her soccer team and her parents didn't find out who knows. But yeah you're right

when i worked in retail- each person had a code that they would enter into the computer so they could tell who did each sale, etc. so basically anyone could open the register! not sure if that’s how it was there tho

@@999shosha a lot of companies won't buy certain stores any cameras or any type of security if that certain store isn't worth much (aka doesn't make a certain amount yearly.) My mom works at a family dollar and the high ups won't get the store cameras because they aren't a million dollar store. My mom and her manager had to use their own paychecks and both pitched in on buying the store cameras.
I work at a higher end outlet shop and we don’t have cameras because our theft is low so they don’t want to spend the money on security cameras 🤦🏻♀️

Yeah, I was most certainly surprised by that. Probably she said she relocated to a new place hence she wanted to changes stores and the HR manager didn’t ask the other store how she was as an employee. But still, I agree it’s weird - when it’s the same brand and all it is probably not a big thing to do. I guess the HR manager was just happy that she had previous experience in the same type of store...

I feel so horrible for Jayna, she had a horrible way to go ,I pray she was unconscious for the most part. I can't believe the Apple employees heard her begging for her life and did absolutely nothing at all. I wonder if any of them felt bad after hearing about what really happened... As soon as I saw Brittney was still alive I knew it was her!!! Can't believe she could do something so horrific for something so meaningless and small smh I pray Jayna is resting in paradise 🙏❤️
Definitely! Especially since brittney's story didn't match up with any evidence and she wasn't brutally attacked like Jayna was.

Jayna's pants were disheveled and the crotch cut out, if i recall from other videos on this.. this means Brittany and been reamed out by Jayna for the clothing theft, then caught her by surprise, and beaten her with tools and hammers and wrenches and finally with the knife to the neck. And then with her being incapacitated, Brittany then handled and moved her body, arranged objects around her, and pulled down her pants and roughing up her clothes, to build up the sx assault story, and then scratched herself up a bit, hitting her own body to get a few scars, spent the night at the store with Jayna's dead body, which she probably kicked and beat after she was dead. then tying herself up with zip ties show she could be "discovered".
This is the work of a human devil.
Based on a book a read about the case, the girl working at the apple store felt so horrible for not calling for help. It's easy to blame them but the Bystander Effect is a very real thing that happens to even the best intentioned people. But rest assured, the apple employees will live with the guilt for the rest of their lives.

Quarantine is the perfect time for a health kick
Brittany’s story should have seemed suspicious from the get go. For starters, brutally murdering one victim while leaving the other with just some superficial wounds would be more or less unheard of. Secondly, she makes it seem like this was a premeditated, planned attack (the attackers knew personal details about her like her address), yet it all hinged on a completely random event - Brittany forgetting her Metrocard and having to return to the store after lock up. I can't believe what an incredible woman Jayna was. She was so smart, talented and sweet. Life is just so unfair. She did nothing but she still ended up as a murder victim. Even tho nobody deserves such a brutal death, my heart breaks for her, her family and her boyfriend :( I hope they're ok.

If everyone called police every time they heard a scream, the police would literally be doing nothing else. However, in this case those Apple employees seem pretty dim.
