    I have more random facts:
    The Pacific Ocean is bigger than all land on earth combined.
    You can fit 34 million Vatican Citys in Russia.
    Monaco with 40,000 people has a similar GDP to Somalia with about 17 million.
    The sun never sets UK and France because of overseas territories.
    India has a higher population than all of Africa.
    And yet, France and UK each have a higher GDP than Africa.
    In Czechia, beer is cheaper than water.

      The US Canada border is about 5.5×10^3 miles long, and Mount Everest is about 5.5 miles high. So *basically* the same 😂

    Regarding the fact 42: Germany calls itself Deutschland, the official name is Bundesrepublik Deutschland. So there should be at least 12 countries with land in their name.

    Do you know that what you call "kilometers squared" is actually "square kilometers"? That's what km^2 means. Square kilometres, like square metres, are measures of area. "Metres squared" describes a formula perhaps, but not what the units mean.

      Yes 100 square meters is 10x10 meters = 100 m2
      100 metes squared is 100x100 meters = 10000 m2

      Australia is a bit of a debate. Depends if you are counting those that are part of Oceana (like Fiji, Palau, Somoa, etc), which I think you have to do. With all of those there are 14 in Australia. North America has way more than that. A lot of people think North America is just Canada, US and Mexico, but all of Central America is technically in North America, as well as all of the Caribbean island nations.

      @@michellelee2409 There's the cultural tally and there's the geographical tally. I don't think Caribbean Islands would be considered within North America geographically. And I've heard _Australasia_ used to describe the continent plus New Guinea, New Zealand, Samoa and other Pacific nations. But Australia itself I have not heard described as having all those within its continent. As you noted, the line can be drawn in various ways.

    15:10 The map seems to only separate regions on country borders. Which means that Big Diomede, an island in the Bering Strait that is part of Russia, and also technically in the western hemisphere, is the western-most part of Asia, and also part of Eastern Europe.

    People usually refer to places like Florida as tropical but Florida is actually not within the tropics. Situated barely north of the Tropic of Cancer it is barely within the northern temperate zone and that's why it does get snow every so often (although mind you it doesn't stay for very long).

      I thought I would search through the comments knowing someone would have made a correction to his lack of knowledge regarding countries with the word ‘Land’ in them.
      In todays era where anyone can find some information about any topic within seconds on the internet but now that AI and apps like chat GPT exist there is no reason why those people who created this video wouldn’t have double or triple checked their content of information before uploading the video…. This is just one of many errors in this video…. The comments section will always keep people in check

    #50 ... Australia is also a continent with a single nation unless you count the nearby islands which are counted as part of the Australian continent for grouping purposes. but as islands, they, by definition, cannot be on a continent.

    Technically the UK doesn't have the longest name for countries becuase the UK isn't a country its a group of countries of Scotland,England,Wales and Northern Ireland

    No 77: if you insist in using the "Arctic Ocean" for this "fact" then you must ALSO use the "Antarctic Ocean" (aka Southern Ocean), thus Australia also borders 3 oceans (Indian, Pacific & Antarctic).

    In no.60 you said all Island countries have no measurable land borders, but this is far from true! Many island countries' consist of part of an island, and have land border[s] with the other countries on that island ie Haiti and the DR on Hispaniola, Republic of Ireland and the UK on Ireland, etc
