Was at the game. My first Blue Jays game in 26 years! What a great comeback. Sad to see all those fans leave the game during the 7th inning when the Jays were down 8-2, only to miss the best 9th inning comeback in Jays history. IT AIN'T OVER TILL IT"S OVER!!!!!

Actually, it was a Steve Pearce walk-off grand slam vs the Angels. He hit 2 walk-off grand slams in that week. I was at the Angels game to witness it and about half of the people left in the 8th inning only to miss the comeback.

Was thinking the same thing. Tellez the second batter in the inning would’ve been struck out because the 2nd 1-2 pitch I believe it was was a strike. But because he didn’t get his body in position it was a ball. Then hbp next batter. Then the strikeout of McGuire. Then the Jensen HR. Then Romo strikes out the first batter he faces. Then boom Rays win 8-5. But it didn’t happen.

i was rewatching old jays highlights to relive the good times to when i saw this video suggested. I didn't think too much of it as only to just a big walk off. the more i watched it, the more i realized how similar it was to the recent august 2021 game against the athletics. i saw the familiar old faces which brought joy but sadness as to which they are not on the team. i see that romo is coming in to pitch and then it clicked that he was the same guy that pitched to semien in august. Then i see teo come on to pr which shocked me as i didnt know he was on the roster at the time. then i see lourdes come up to the plate which shocked me even more. In my head i thought "who thought they would be where they are now, look at them now". It blow my mind how similar this game was to the one in august. i feel as if this was the start of the jays we know today into something amazing. please excuse the word vomit, i just felt moved to say something after watching this video. cheers and

2021 here - you ain’t wrong! Jays are frickin stacked and dangerous this season. Their record doesn’t quite reflect how good they are but that’s mostly due to key injuries. Once they get everyone back, they’re the kind of team no one wants to face. Even hobbled as they are, they’re top 10 in MLB power rankings. They’re a legit top 6-5 team. Can beat anybody in a series.

Im a Rays fan. This was probably the biggest choke of the season when we were making a major push for the 2nd wildcard. It was a long shot, but it was a shot. This was pretty devastating. Now that its next season, it's a great comeback. Too bad Schultz never showed his potential all season
