Ugh this is my favorite RC car of all time!!! Mine was indestructible lol had for 2 years before something broke! I just gave it a overhaul with hot racing parts all over! I’ll keep this one forever.. the only issue that I would change is the battery location because the tray always gets stuck or would increase the size where the batteries go because it won’t fit the 6800 mah batteries.. also the body panels are a pain to get off
Really disappointed. Got mine a couple days ago running two 4s LiPo's. Within 10 minutes, the servo broke. Thanks to you I was able to get a new servo ordered instead of buying another junk one. Earned a new sub. Thanks and happy bashing.

Fun video! We have really enjoyed our Super Rock Rey. Be warned though, we have already had to put a servo and front spindles on this truck - they are weak from the factory.
Omg I want this car so bad!! Lol my axial yeti score is my all time favorite rc truck and this thing is a yeti on steroids. Go ahead and send it to me lol
Beautiful video I wish I had more time to play with mine. I got big rock stuck in my steering . An mess up that big servo. To everyone out get extra servo. An do the up grades fans An everything . This thing rocks . She likes to to rollover. Also me job losing. 8$ all day.
I got about 10 runs an striped the servo brass gears jus ordered a 5th scale alum servo mount an servo do really like the rig jus haven't got much run time on it due to lack of parts available
This thing is worth all the $1000. I paid. This thing can handle the ground. I rum mine on 8 $ an 6$. I took mine in construction site an let her rip. Something happened to my front right shock. It was bent. So I straight mine out. Bit order more. This thing heavy
Great video, Love all your stuff. One of my go to sites when I am looking for a review. Wondering what batteries did you use? Looking to get the dimensions so I can see if what I plan on getting will fit.
It looks good man thanks for sharing. I love Losi and I have a 1/10 scale truggy and it has metal drive shafts. I’m sure they know what they are doing though.
I just purchased one I have run two charges through it and after running it in sand the battery door is next to impossible to unlatch because of the sand have you had this problem and if so any tips
Just sand down the edges of the battery door about a millimeter total. It won't interfere with it staying closed as that is the latches duty. Hope this helps.
First of all great video man 👍👍 second I hate that transmitter! I've had that in two different trucks you pay 600 to 800 bucks for a nice top of the line truck and get a ten dollar all thin plastic cheepo radio. Sorry guys I had to say it it works fine but feels and looks cheep . One of the cheapest radios out there is the flysky gt3b and that is 10 times better radio than the spectrum I don't know why horizon has to go this route. Anyway I love this truck and also wondering why 8s with plastic drive shafts? Maybe to soak up a little torque? I don't think I've seen anyone has been breaking them but wondering why
At least it's not the STX2 lol. The DX2E... well works. It does have some adjustablity to it to set end-points and you can expand it now with telemetry options (unlike early versions.) But I see what you're saying. I already have the Rey programmed into my DX5 Rugged. Not totally sure on the driveshafts either, but I haven't seen anyone complaining about breaking them either. Nice that the universal itself is metal.
I thought they were 24mm hex wheels 🤔 The SBR is 24mm on the tire but the nut that holds it on is 17mm. Also the SBR is a 5mm chassis..... Really suprised at all these differences between the two models
This truck looks sick! I have a Kraton 8s and Outcast 8s. This thing looks even more solid then both of those. What's the run time (with normal driving style and aggressive driving style)? I run two 9000mah 100C 4s Lipo's on both my trucks.
When buy this Truck get s heavy duty sero extra. My spectrum didn't last long also keep an eye o.n front suspension. I crack something up front. This truck is superman on a Friday night dri king beers I wish I had more time driver it.
They're a composite slider with metal universals on the ends. The composite looks like it has a lot of fiber in it for strength. Judging by the coloring of the plastic, it looks like a much better quality than other parts on the buggy. Haven't seen any reports of them failing in groups, but I have seen a number of reports of shattered metal shafts on other high powered RC's.
We have broken one so far in the 4 months of ownership - but it was a really bad wreck that suddenly stopped the wheel. Otherwise, they have been very strong running full power on 8S.
Thank you for NOT taking it to a Gd skate park or launching it 30ft high from a formed plywood ramp. I am so sick to death of that juvenescent sadistic abuse of these 'toys' from 90% of RC car content creators I could become violently emetic.

I watched an AMain hobbies video and the first thing the guy did was take the truck and run it into a fence post on purpose and it absolutely pissed me off. I hate it when people disrespect these machines for no reason at all.
I want to buy this truck but the cage needs to be easily removable. I have a 1/10 Rock Rey and it is a bitch to get into. The mud guards need to be held on by 4 screws rather than snap-ins. The servo arm is only accessible if you remove the servo itself. A small hole below the servo arm would be cool.
Hi rc driver are you OK if I use a little bit of your edit of the losi on my own channel just showing some clips of the car so it will only be one or two bits 😉

is the rockrey based on the bajarey ?
Yes it is. They use different front a-arms and front axles though.
