Hi Neil I think that spending an extra 900 quid on an Quaife LSD could easily increase the value of the car. As it is with 53kmiles and it being a selespeed and no leather interior but with xenons and the right Alfa Red, 10/12k would be selling bracket. Keep the videos coming!
Thank you Neil, you did well with the rebuild/restoration etc. I find all your videos very informative and enjoy watching them, I too am an Alfa Romeo dealer in South Africa (Alfa Dynamics Squadra Corse S.A.), my favorite Alfa is the 147 GTA. Keep up the good work and keep the vids coming.
Neil, got 7k for my uk manual 147 Gta last year, every one of the essential upgrades fitted every mot and invoices but with 132k on and bodywork not 100%. People saying 12-15k wouldn't stick their hand in their pocket as the market says otherwise, I have seen the same cars for sale for months and months. People said mine was worth 10k- the market said otherwise again! I'd say yours between 8-9k for a quick sale. The chap who bought mine has recently put it up for 12k less then a year after buying it! Can't blame him for trying....😄 Too many cars and not enough buyers me thinks. Cheers and good luck.
Awesome Job, in NL 18000€. The gearbox without the Sperdif has caused expensive repairs, several standard diffs have broken in parking garages while driving away on the slippery surface and damaged the gearbox as well. Plus a awesome ride with the O2 or quaife.
Its got to be top end of the price range. I'd be looking for collectors in America as its a really rare car and in top condition. It won't rust to bits there either. They really know how to look after cars. I'd be sending Jay Leno a message first off as he'd absolutely love this one..even though its RHD as it doesn't need further work.
I would maybe even store for a year or two, prices should go up even more. It it rust free, low miles, etc. It will hold value, if you have the space ofcourse
@@ItaliaAutos not bargain here as 3yrs ago I got my 147GTA selespeed for $7k AUD and it just needed coil packs done and the selespeed to be recalibrated
Car looks outrageous Neil - minimum £12k. Being an import and a Selespeed might put some people off but it's got to be one of the cleanest in the country.
Hi Neil….Huge fan of your channel. About selling price, I think in this condition it should be at the top off your scale! Overhere in The Netherlands I have seen prices up to €30.000! As the GTA’s are getting rare… prices do go up. Why not put her on an online auction?? Good luck, looking forward to your next video on UA-cam! Grtz from a Dutch Alfisti
Did you consider converting it to manual at any point in the rebuild? Would say that would add £3k on the value easily based on its condition. Also worth removing the Japanese motorway pay gadget we heard talking on start up.
I think you might get £10,000 for it, there are sillyspeeds up for more than that and in worse condition but they just don't sell, there are also loads under £10,000 which don't sell either. That gearbox puts people off big time, not to mention the hassle of insuring an import. The amount of these you see on eBay, I wouldn't be surprised if they end up being more common than the manual eventually lol.
Only 2 for sale in Australia, one for $55000 the other $25000. No sure as to the huge disparity in price, similar kms and condition. I think $2500 is probably more realistic.
Not for a sillyspeed import. rebuilt engine or not it won't fetch that sort of money. The low to mid end GTA market is flooded with these things and they just do not shift very quickly, some of these examples have been hanging around for quite a lot less than that since I brought mine (manual) in 2019.
I would say no more than 10k as an auto import with no leather but it looks great. If it hadn’t had the work I’d say 8. Quite a few auto imports sitting on Autotrader for a while around 10 so that seems the general bracket. Not as good as this one I’m sure so 10 to sell, not to sit on a site for weeks.
I have a GT and I am planning to change it’s front bumper and headlights to 147 GTA front bumper and headlights, so do you think will it fit without any adjustments?
About 9500 I would say, I actually like the selespeed when they are working well but as you know not worth as much as manuals to most people, lovely looking car now though👍
Hi, an Alfa is worth the passion you have for it....money doesn't matter !! If I manage to catch the bloody imbecil who fled after destroying at night my parked 156 V6 (40 000 km !!!) with an ugly & shitty Audi A8, he will learn what passion means....Keep going neil!
Lovely car...Japanese imports with service history can be great as no issues and their road worthy ness Leal’s are strict etc. Lovely car...I’m hoping you accept blockbuster video cards as payment otherwise...hahahahaha! Fab mate. And dm’d ya Instagram on fiat coupe! Engine sounds awesome but Deffo on quaif diff add as per suggestion/comments !
I'd put some standard size UK number plates on the car - and stick it up for auction on the collecting cars site. You'll get very good money for the car on there - especially in the current climate.

Leather might look better, but normal interior is more comfortable daily :)
Very nice videos 👍
In England I don’t know but in Portugal an Alfa like that is around 30.000 euros.

Another nice job looks fantastic, I noticed a nice 166 in the background it would be nice to see a video on one of them they seem very rare now.
Yeah , maybe a buying guide too
😂😂😂😂😂😂 good luck with that he hates them !!!! eh mate ! 😂😂😂
I’ve been on at him for months to do a 166 blog lol .

The selespeed 2.0 usually needs a hydraulic pump replacement and actuator replaced and then clutch recalibrated and then works lovely.
In case you can't sell it for whatever reason, no need to worry about depreciation. These are only going up in value quickly at that
Looks a different car, just needs a standard UK rear plate on it to hide the screw holes.
Elle est magnifique !!!!! Bravo !!!! Le kit carrosserie est superbe,le son du v6 est magnifique .merci pour vos vidéos j adore😉bonne journée.
Wow great gob! Looks immaculate! That won’t stand around even at the top end!
The way you work on these cars it'll be one of the best out there Neil, gotta be 14k +

Kicked the like before starting watching this video! I'm 100% it s going to be anoter quality one!
Nice one of these goes for upwards of $25k AUD here
Bargain for a UK buyer then

Amazing job do you have any video where you show how to install the Q2 or quaife LSD?
It's a pity that you don't work with LHD cars, amazing work.
It's very beautiful, amazing job Neil!

No diff? It's the suspension standard?
As it is probably about 11k

Cracking job Neil, lovely car👌

It would also cost about that in labour and parts. Trying to keep it as authentic as it came from Japan.

Hi Neil, can I ask how you done the rear bank Lambda sensor without removing the engine? I haven't seen any footage of this process? Thanks
Did it off camera. Not an easy job
Great one Neil!
I think it is easily worth well north of £12,000. One that sorted is very hard to find.

13k+. If you looking the markt, you will find gta's with so low milage over 18k.
£14,000's worth easily in my view. Fantastic car, rare, gorgeous and sounding absolutely amazing.

Looks nice. I would change the rear number plate for a U.K. one though, same for the front.
Must be worth 10k
They are UK plates. You can choose to have either square or rectangular.
@@tripemonger8916 you know what I meant
Nice car but as a Selespeed around the 12k mark
cool as a polar bears dangly bits
Selespeed is kind of a sticking point…..but a Japanese low miles car means most likely minimal to no rust
Good joob might be paid..Maybe 18k with torsen?
where is your workshop location bro?
Walsall West midlands
I've been waiting for this. Now to enjoy and lust.
