Andy thank you for recommending 'Hallelujah' by Lucy Thomas. It was the first song I heard her perform. I had to play it over and over to make sure my ears and eyes were not tricking me. Her technical singing skills are amazing. her physical delivery style connects with the listener. I have been a Lucy Thomas Fan ever since.

This young lady sang this song when she was but 16 years old, she is now 18 and has 3 albums published, and also has a 5 year younger sister that also sings, they have 7 songs out together starting when Martha was only 10 years old, she in now 13 when they sang their last song 8/20/22, THE CLIMB !!!! You definetly need to watch/listen to that and any others, the prayer is great, Holy Night, when you believe, ANYTHING they or just Martha sings is great !!!
This is one my favorite first reactions of Lucy. She is great, but when you put her sister Martha in the mix, they really are next level. The best harmonies ever. Please check those out.

Lucy, at age 13, was semi finalist at UK voice kids ( why she did not win??? Mystery).
Immediately she was signed by a record company. Since then she published 3 album's .
She published this video end of 2020 at age 16. She is now 18.
She continued to work on her talent.

And in the top of all of this she has a talented little sister Martha . And she does duet with her.

Lucy was 13 when she sang on the Voice Kids and made it to the semi finals. When she sang Hallelujah she was 17 years old !!! Also Lucy has a song I believe it is Run to you where after the song she speaks to the camera about you tube and subscribe and like and yes she has a very quiet meek little voice with a definate British accent , and you think what a quiet meek young lady.....then she sings and belts out the most powerful from a smaller women it is almost unbelieveable !!! Thanks for the reaction !!! Lucy is in good hands as her parents are business owners and her mother is very involved with her and she has an excellent singing coach and an excellent person, Chris Broom writing songs for her and putting the stage play ROSIE together !!!

Lucy has been singing since she was young, have heard as young as 7. Her first video was age 9. She is currently 18, has released 3 albums, and many singles. She is from the United Kingdom and signed a record contract right after The Voice - Kids UK at age 14. Lucy truly is one of a kind.
Your reaction is typical of others hearing Lucy Thomas first time. I heard 'Hallelujah' the first time also. Lucy's technical singing skills are better then many pros with decades of experience. She was only 16 or 17 when she recorded this. When I first heard it, I almost fell out of my chair. I have over a decade of singing and acting experience. I had to play song over and over to make sure my ears and eyes weren't tricking me. They weren't Lucy is the real deal.
Lucy doesn't copy songs, she improves them. Her rendition of 'Hallelujah' is best I have ever heard, and I have heard dozens before. I have a standing bet no one will beat it. Even if they copied her, they can never do it as well. The song has many millions of view for a good reason - it is talent on a whole new level.
Her technical singing skills are amazing; perfect breath control, multi-octave vocal range, exact note placement, her vibrato is so tight it doesn't vary more than a 1/4 note up or down. Her physical delivery skills help listeners connect at a very emotional level. It is as Lucy is standing in front of you singing a solo just for you. She is beyond amazing.
