      Absolutely agree, this was a quick test for a workbench with no prep what so ever. Happy with the results for what Im doing.

      Do you have any recommendations on applying it to melamine on plywood? Thanks in advance.

      Do you think I should use that primer on my wood decking on my trailer? I get my raptor liner tomorrow.

    I just made a set of concrete 45lb weights going to put a few coats of this on them to hopefully protect them from chipping hope it sticks well to cement

      Raptor sticks extremely well to fresh clean concrete. No primer required.

      What about an old concrete, and what primer would you use for it, also how does the raptor do against oil, diesel, gas, etc.?
      Thinking about spraying my garage concrete floor?

    I was thinking of doing something similar to my wooden shed floor because of winter time use,but was afraid if it would cause my wood to rote from underneath. Because it is setting on a thick gravel pad not cement. Looks really good on your work bench

      Marshall Rugg it has held up so awesome over the last few months, we sprayed this about 6 months ago but I will be spraying our enclosed trailer floor and we did spray the front and back of our camper fiberglass with the white also. That video will be coming soon. Is your plywood treated and or sitting off the ground like on skids?

      @@MKSPerformanceOffroad it is a pre built shed 14x30 foot. It has some kind of coating on it but it is light in color and shows all kinds of marks and I am afraid of water and oil getting in from the top but also afraid that if I seal up the top the bottom might rote.

    • @MKSPerformanceOffroad
      @MKSPerformanceOffroad  4 роки тому +1

      Marshall Rugg if its a shed built by a company I dont think you would have an issue. I was going to do the same to my 8x12 shed as well but it sits pretty high with alot of airflow underneath. You might check with the company that built it to find out what they used. It should be treated.

    I thought about doing this on a set of outdoor stairs for my grandparents, not sure if it would be slip resistant enough tho 😬

    • @MKSPerformanceOffroad
      @MKSPerformanceOffroad  Рік тому +1

      You can change the texture with application pressure and how you spray it. I thought there might be a slip resistant additive I saw a while back as well.

    How has it held up 1 year later on the wood? Has it peeled off? Anything you would do differently ?

    • @MKSPerformanceOffroad
      @MKSPerformanceOffroad  2 роки тому +1

      It is doing great, no peeling at all and I have used the bench alot. I would spray another coat or 2 on it for thicker layer but other than that nothing else.

    Hi nice job, bench looks great! Is the raptor ok to use straight on the ply?

    • @MKSPerformanceOffroad
      @MKSPerformanceOffroad  3 роки тому +1

      Yes, the surface is porous and rough enough that the raptor should adhere without issue. I haven’t had any issues thus far and I use my bench regularly.
