Yes, those - but also: One, Wherever Roam, and Blackened were outright AMAZING!! Ride Lightening is one of my favorites but I could barely even hear it over the ridiculously LOUD screaming!!!
They spent a lot of time at my top-of-list @CrimsonSpider. Have seen them 8 or 9 times, lost count. This show impressed me with what they delivered. KoRn & Tool are the other two MUST-sees if you ever get the chance. At least based on the past. Hopefully they still have it.
agreed (if you pretend they didn't include Whiskey in the Jar. haha - although the giant beach balls were amusing) But all said, they totally DELIVERED!!
@@ShastaBean Yeah, Whiskey in the jar was my song to rest up on before they played ONE. Don’t get why they still play cover songs when they have so much of their own music. Guess when you’re Metallica you can play whatever you want…
@backalleyrailroading2835 I actually think that was the purpose of that song...to just lighten things up a bit...they were delivering hard for the previous 3 songs. Blackened hit me hard. Maybe because we were jamming Justice in the car on the way to the arena but the fire sure didn't hurt, too. Watching other venues, they didn't do that there. But you are right...there are a boat-ton of other songs that even aren't on the Night 1 list that could have fit right in there and kept things charging.
@@carlosduarte4181 That was my dilemma when buying tickets. Which night to go? Then I decided to buy tickets for both shows and ask for forgiveness from the wife after I already had the tickets. She got over it… At least you still got to see Metallica !!! 🤘🏼

James continues to be such a force, total powerhouse! \m/ If only dumbass on the drums would actually hit his kick drum consistently maybe we could hear/feel it. smh!

Why a blast! I was there. I think they played master of puppets because they had to cancel early night one and Metallica wanted to make up for it!
