Hace unos meses vole con ellos MEX-MID y hubo buen servicio, me toco el mini E-jet y un 737 Max con interior de Norwegian Airlines (sorprendentemente cómodo), me la pase bien.

Yes, you made me laugh about the baby behind you who was not happy!😄 But the meal service looked very nice. And yes the drinks with the coffee is really needed for me as well. You had the Economy Seat, I would have waited to upgrade to Premium Economy for the legroom I always need. I am 6'2" so, over the years I just go for the upgrades. But thank you for sharing your cool flights.
Looks like a very nice flight, with meals too. I'm not used to seeing good hot meals in economy class on many airlines, so this looked like a great flight.

Very good trip report. I've been on the Max 3 times, both J and economy with Air Canada and I gotta say I like the aircraft. I would like to try AeroMexico's Max sometime.
Man I love Aeromexico so much! The best economy seat in México, flew from Seattle to México and I fell in love with the airline, great service, hot meals on most international flights, snacks in domestic. So from now on I will try to fly only with them
Not all international flights have hot meals. lAX-MEX you get a pack of peanuts and only one drink and that’s a 3.5 hour flight
@@cornbisque You are right, all transatlantic flights and some international flights have hot meals , I'm aware of meals to JFK, SEA, LAX, BOG, ORD, YUL, YVR, YYZ, LIM.

Love to watch your i trip reports interested to hear your opinion on the new AIFA since you mentioned it in the beginning, I unfortunately had my flight from AICM to Tijuana changed to AIFA - TJ what a challenge to get there then I get there and there is nobody there to let you know what’s going on , no restaurants to get a bite to eat and many more issue that are to long to list , so interested to hear your opinion.Saludos!!

Ironically people hated the Max when the whole fiasco happened, now everyone wants to flight on one
I frequently fly with AM on a 5hr + route to/from MEX in economy. as pax we always get full meal/drink service, and onboard IFE. together with the fact is the only airline with a non-stop route from the city I live in, I prefer to pay the "premium" vs cheaper airlines with layovers, no IFEs, and "snack and water" service.
Man I wish Aeromexico flew from my city to GDL since I have to go down there at least once a year

Do you fink you can do a tripreport to or from Guadalajara (GDL) from or to any city?
Looks cool but I think I prefer the interior on the newer 737 800 NG. The max seems depressing compared to the brighter tone used in the 737 NG. Also I think the split scimitar winglets look better as well on the 737 800 NG. Anyway good video as always:)
Does AM have -900's in their fleet? I thought I saw one pushing back at MEX just before yours did. Long takeoff roll, with a fuel load for a 5hr flight, no wonder it took so long( along with 'hot and high') You would think that UA and DL would view AM's inflight food service and do their best to compete if not pull ahead but I guess they don't care or are pinching pennies. I wish Mexico passengers could pre-clear US customs as is the norm in Canada, would save time and aggravation for all involved--you mentioned 'beating any transcon I've been on"--what about JetBlue Mint class? Surely their food service is comparable if not better.
I belive they don't have 900s NG But they do have the MAX-9

Based on what I saw in this video, I will never fly a US carrier to Mexico if I can help it. I've never been to Mexico City, so I will definitely use Aeromexico if I do.
The aircraft is also larger than a 737-700. No way a 737-700 has a first class cabin and 150 seats in economy!

¿Qué tan seguro es viajar en el Boeing 737 MAX 8 después de los dos accidentes por el MCAS? ¿Qué hizo cambiar de opinión a Aeromexico ya que lo habían suspendido temporalmente?
Es extremadamente seguro, el error del MCAS ya se corrigió con un nuevo software, sin miedo anímate, es un avión increíble.

I know I am in the minority (and old school when it comes to this), but I think anything above two to two and a half hours should be in a wide body. I remember flying an L-1011 in an hour-long flight back in the 80s. ((sigh))
