This is so interesting to see the difference in color, how the the stock gives such depth to the color while having this muted vibe ! Very impressed by how close you are to matching it
No doubt about it that the film is nicer in my opinion, but cool to know that you can kinda match it digitally with a recipe :) Thanks for the comment!
Thank you Ross for the recipe, I think it looks awesome and very similar to Lomo 800. Definitely gonna try this, and doing experiment with Moment diffusion filter
Thanks for another awesome video, Ross! Filmstock vs. Recipe comparisons are really fun and I really appreciate the work you put in. One major difference in colour that allowed me to tell which was which pretty quickly was the marked reduction in luminance of reds, yellows and greens in the digital recipe. The blues seemed really close every time. I wonder if switching Color Chrome Effect from 'Weak' to 'Off' (keep the Blue effect Weak) would bridge the difference.
Hey thanks for the comment and kind words. Yeah I definitely tried this out when making the recipe but ultimately settled on what I did as it looked closer to my eyes more often than not! 👊
Thank you, Ross! That's amazing work. I have to say that film gives more saturated colors. I think Fuji should rearrange the Color parameter to allow +10 values at least 😁
Thank you, Ross! Another great recipe! Defenetely will try it! Is there any chance to see a Leica-Look recipe from you? I mean those with rich Q/M-colors, deepest shadows, greenish, same time warm tint, great clarity?
Thanks so much for the kind words. Emmm I think I’d have to shoot with a Leica first to be able to experience the look and feel and recreate that with Fujifilm recipes. I think maybe Goughie did one though if I remember correctly?
I’m 100% trying this recipe! Love the vibe!
Thanks so much ❤
Just got it loaded into the XH2, we will see how they look after a couple days of shooting!
@@BrendanEvan Enjoy!!
I really appreciate the side by side comparison! Helps make that connection between the real thing and the simulation.
Thanks!!
This recipe in my list now. Thank you for sharing 🔥
Cool!! Enjoy.
Amazing work man!
Awww cheers.
Congrats! They look remarkably similar!
Thanks!

You might want to turn off the both color chrome settings to get the same vibrancy
Nice Ross, looking good!

@@rossandhisjpegs Love your work. Thanks again for spending the time (and Money) on this filmstock!

Aww thanks so much. Yeah it has more saturation than I could give it with Classic Chrome at least.
Another great video man! I'm going to put this in my camera tomorrow. With some adaptations since I have the x100v.
Awesome :) Let me know how it goes.
you can mostly spot the film because of the vignetting and DNR, the colours are spot on though
Thanks for this recipe. I believe everything matches very well except the reds.
You’re welcome!!
Jeez I’m surprised how close it is also Liverpool Chinatown?
Yeah me too! Classic Chrome and Lomography 800 are super close in colour it seems. Yeah, sure is :)

@@rossandhisjpegs Yes I saw his recipe, but I'm afraid his recipe is little not match it.. What if maybe you analyse some FM forum guys photos?
Definetly trying this one out :)
Awesome enjoy!!
And now that I tried it for a while, it is amazing! :)
Thanks for creating it@@rossandhisjpegs
@@atteleskinenphotography2731 Awesome! So so glad you like it :)
These look pretty close.... I say a touch up in post and you can get it a lot closer... nice work
Cheers boss.
My recipe is to buy lomography 800 🙂
Tried that but the canister wouldn't fit in my X-T4! Any tips?
