I think the light beige looks better on you. Surely you can still make the camel work for you with a scarf that suits you. The khaki is very pretty (I have it) but I think it washes you off. It's really impressive to see how some colours are more flattering than others depending on people. For example, light beige colours usually makes me look dead 😆

That was my thought as well, I mean, I could make the Camel work but why would I buy something that neither suits me nor makes me fell 100%?! I loved the khaki one, but I thought it was more on the warmer side, unfortunately. Have you tried cooler beige tones? They might work if you have fair or a cool skin undertone. Most beiges, reds and oranges don’t work for me. Thanks for the comment 🫶🏼

I think the lightest version looks best on you. But since you have another light colored trench I would pick a darker Clyde. I feel khaki would be best for spring/autumn. For me the color looked on the fence of warm/cool esp. in different lighting. I ordered the Clyde in khaki. I loved the quality, the color and esp. the lining, but sadly it was not the right fit for me, it felt too bulky, I think I need a lighter material and a smaller collar. I since ordered a similar trench/mac coat from Seasalt Cornwall and I love it for me.
I also love your outfit with the boots and the gingham trousers!

Thanks for the lovely comment! 🫶🏼 & yes I think you’re right, it doesn’t make sense to keep two coats of such a similar color. I’m sorry the Clyde didn’t work for you, I myself debated for quite a while especially because I always go for something that highlights my waist. I’ve never heard of this brand before, from a quick browse I can say I liked their dresses a lot - thanks for the recommendation.

Hi ! Im hesitating between the Clyde light beige or camel. Does it easily get dirt, stains, make up marks on the collar ?

I ended up not keeping it - it didn’t make sense with my climate unfortunately. Although I cannot say with property about the Clyde but having owned a similar trench in a light color for years, I’d say the only stains I’ve got so far have been because of my bike 😅 nothing on the collar and mine has the function to wear it like a turtle neck… I’d use a makeup setter and call it problem solve!

I liked the khaki one and agree that camel isn't for everyone. Like you camel washes me out - quite dramatically. I've always resented that fashion claim that camel is an essential classic colour - lol - that's only true if it suits you. It's interesting that you're hesitating over the khaki - your own opinion is more important than mine for sure. If it's not really a "wow!" for you maybe give it a miss? You don't *have* to keep any of them if none are ticking all your boxes. You might just find the perfect additional trench someplace else and be sorry you invested in a piece that didn't 100% make you happy.

I totally feel you! After getting a professional color analysis, it all made sense: warm and bright tones are a no go for me. I also don’t feel good wearing them. About the Clyde in khaki, I absolutely loved it! I’m just not 100% sure the color is versatile enough for the summer season and there’s the con in terms of functionality for me. But maybe you’re right, the “right one” might come at the right time - thanks for the comment 🫶🏼

For me a trench coat without a belt is a no-no. Didn't I say that Sezane is obsessed with NOT letting us underline our waistlines?! I think the light beige suits you best but it's also similar to your Mango coat. The camel one would be my second recommendation. The dark one looks least exciting.

The stone one is the nicest on you. The camel and khaki are too warm toned for your colouring.

I had my doubts too! It's always hard to check because the color changes with the lighting, but it's good to know I'm not crazy. Thanks for your comment!
