This IRONHEAD Motor WON'T WORK For This FRAME As Is / Left To Right Shift And A Kick Start Problem

- Working again on the 76 Harley Davidson Ironhead Sportster Chopper Project. I made a discovery after the my last live video that the crossover shifter shaft that I found that I thought I needed turned out to be of no use to me anyway. It is of no use, because this frame is meant for a 1957 to a 1974 sportster with right side shift; not for a 1975 to 1976 with left side shift.
That soon became obvious as I saw that the tubing for the crossover shaft is in a different position; meant to work with a crossover shaft for the rear brake; not for the shifter. So I thought to myself: instead of modifying my existing equipment to make it work anyway (which would be rather sketchy), I'm already planning to go into the primary to investigate why the kick starter doesn't want to stay fully engaged during a full kick. While I'm there, why not remove the exposed four bolts on the trap door of the transmission and pull it?
With the transmission out, I could get a good look at how everything looks, and perhaps see about how to go from a left side shift back to a right side shift. So as I'm typing out this description, everything is apart, and I am currently waiting on the parts to make this bike a right side shift in order to run this motor in this frame.
