Im not sure if i was a narcissist back then but this is true. I was emotionally abusive to my girlfriend and friends and lost my loved ones. Im trying to make things right and i have changed for the better thanks to our Father and Jesus christ. For those of you who read this please control your emotions and seek help. I dont want anyone to lose loved ones because of their selfishness. I guarantee you it is extremely painful and a choice full of regret and sorrow. Im barely building myself back up. I threw a future away with my s/o because of my stupidity and selfishness. Its really sad. So please flee from sin. Dont embrace it. It will turn you into a monster. Only God can save you then. Amen. He quoted Psalm 40, that is the Psalm God gave to me when I was at my lowest... 😭🖤 I had a vivid nightmare once where I was living in mud & mire like a pig, and for a long time I had no idea what it meant, just that it had shaken me. The first time I ever mentioned it to anyone else was maybe a year or so later, I confided the dream to my mom. Less than 20 minutes later she happened to be listening to a sermon that popped up on her phone within earshot of me in the house. And he was preaching on Psalm 40 and said those opening lines about saving the psalmist from the mud and mire. That was the first time I distinctly heard and felt God speak to me directly. That's been my favorite psalm since... And yes he did save me from the absolute muck and darkness I had made my home in, just like He promised.
30 years ago I was in a relationship and eventually came to realise he was a narcissist. I learned a lot! And I've had a lot of healing. I have no contact with him and he was the first person I ever blocked, and he still is, though I'm sure he could stalk me if he wanted somehow. But I think he's likely got his hooks into someone else, and I pray for them! I have a question: Can a narcissist be saved from him/herself? I know nobody is beyond redemption. I just wonder if they often are, or whether the majority of narcissists never are redeemed.
I think that would depend on whether or not the person is actually saved with a true conversion or not, and Only God knows. from my experience with a person who has NPD, she was completely devoid of empathy, envious and extremely vengeful ( at all costs). it took me awhile to figure it out, and by then it was too late. I've been through some dark things in life, but it doesn't compare to the evil blackened eyes she flashed at me the last time I saw her. my gut and spirit were telling me that I was looking Satan in the eyes. long story short, she claimed to be a saved Christian. and yet she lives like Satan. if she is truly saved, and is going to heaven, I don't want to be there
You can tell if someone is a narcissist and it doesn't take long to realize it. I guess people would just deny or ignore it because they love the person despite being narcs. Probably that's why you're asking those questions. But it's their lives, it's for them to figure it out

It wasn't helped by the fact that I only saw him once a week for a good while and he was obviously acting on his best behaviour at those times, but he couldn't hide his true nature and I saw the wolf inside the sheep's clothing, totally out for himself and with no empathy or true concern for others at all.
You’re seeking the answers, the knowledge, and you know the truth. Just from that alone I know that you have the strength to remove yourself from the narcissistic situation. It will be hard, it will be hell, but it is possible, and the life you will live after is absolutely worth it.

You can and must get out. You will meet others along the way. The goal will not be to defeat them or even to succeed in spite of their sabotage. You should consider yourself successful IF their abuse does not cause you to give up and lose your faith in God. There are extremely powerful spirits behind them and their goal is to lead you to despair. You will have passed the trial and won victory if this abuse does not lead you to give up on God. You should try to get away, but when new ones come along, do not let them break your mind. Do not let them make you think you are crazy or bad. Do not let them break your mind. They can take your job and sabotage you in many earthly ways but if they don’t get to your spirit you’re doing good!!
I feel that I am a narcissist because when I self isolate, I start to think about the ways that I am selfish and angry towards others.I play the victim when I am causing the issue. For example, if someone told me the truth about myself(being irrational and very negative and defensive), I would shift what they are saying onto them and I would act like what they are saying is so terrible. In those moments, I don't realize that I am in the wrong, and I think I'm right. It takes me losing people to start realizing that I am the problem. I also yell when I think someone is "attacking" me when in reality, I am not understanding what they are saying to me or if they are being negative or they are just having a bad day, I disregard their feelings and thoughts, yell at them, and give them the silent treatment when they haven't done anything wrong. I always make things about me and I am self centered a lot. And I have been thinking about the times I thought I was being rational and doing something that is good. But I don't realize what I am doing in those moments and how it affects others. I need help to open up my heart and mind to jesus and God. I want to change. For peace and for my family. I need help.
You are on your way to getting help because you're asking questions congratulations I'm very proud of you❤ get your Bible Out start reading and get some support groups there's people out there that can help you, but at the end of the day you have to help yourself you have to want to be helped the light that you will have after this is worth it because it's beautiful and that's when God will bless you abundantly more than you've ever asked for
I can't even explain how this hit. My husband overdosed is crippled living in his parents house playing videogames and watching porn all day. He was given up to his reprobate mind and can not hurt me anymore. He trys to Harras me but it's minimal because he is bound The sad part is that after him 3 months being in a coma I finally wet to see him thought I was hearing Gods voice to put frankincense and other things on him i did and he woke up 3 days lated after Drs saying he will be a veg forever. I used acupuncture healing frequencies oil and massage to help him recover. Hes still the same evil person he went in as. He even blames me for all his mistakes. What's crazy is he was one of the most talented beautiful guys I ever met. I recreated him before he overdosed. My beautiful girl has his gifts. I took the best of him before he ruined himself. Fell in love with potential, seeing the glimpses of what God could have done with him. His childhood took his soul and that will always be a pain that will never go away. 😢 I learned what love is not from him. He controlled me and lusted.

watch videos about Narcissism and see if any of it describes you. I recommend watching videos by Dr. Ramani. She does a very good job of describing what they're like. Keep in mind most people have some form of Narcissistic tendencies, but that does not make them a Narcissist.
Are you abusive to other people? Do you freak out on people over little things? Are you really controlling? Do you manipulate people to try to get your way? Do you need people to validate you only but can’t accept any criticism? Do you care how your actions effect other people? Are you always a victim and never the problem?

Number 3 is definitely not true! It says god won’t let the narcissist hurt you, god will protect you. So why haven’t I been protected? I’ve prayed countless prayers for years and still nothing.

He quoted Psalm 40, that is the Psalm God gave to me when I was at my lowest... 😭🖤 I had a vivid nightmare once where I was living in mud & mire like a pig, and for a long time I had no idea what it meant, just that it had shaken me. The first time I ever mentioned it to anyone else was maybe a year or so later, I confided the dream to my mom. Less than 20 minutes later she happened to be listening to a sermon that popped up on her phone within earshot of me in the house. And he was preaching on Psalm 40 and said those opening lines about saving the psalmist from the mud and mire. That was the first time I distinctly heard and felt God speak to me directly. That's been my favorite psalm since... And yes he did save me from the absolute muck and darkness I had made my home in, just like He promised.

30 years ago I was in a relationship and eventually came to realise he was a narcissist. I learned a lot! And I've had a lot of healing. I have no contact with him and he was the first person I ever blocked, and he still is, though I'm sure he could stalk me if he wanted somehow. But I think he's likely got his hooks into someone else, and I pray for them!
I have a question: Can a narcissist be saved from him/herself? I know nobody is beyond redemption. I just wonder if they often are, or whether the majority of narcissists never are redeemed.
I think that would depend on whether or not the person is actually saved with a true conversion or not, and Only God knows. from my experience with a person who has NPD, she was completely devoid of empathy, envious and extremely vengeful ( at all costs). it took me awhile to figure it out, and by then it was too late. I've been through some dark things in life, but it doesn't compare to the evil blackened eyes she flashed at me the last time I saw her. my gut and spirit were telling me that I was looking Satan in the eyes. long story short, she claimed to be a saved Christian. and yet she lives like Satan. if she is truly saved, and is going to heaven, I don't want to be there
You can tell if someone is a narcissist and it doesn't take long to realize it. I guess people would just deny or ignore it because they love the person despite being narcs. Probably that's why you're asking those questions. But it's their lives, it's for them to figure it out

It wasn't helped by the fact that I only saw him once a week for a good while and he was obviously acting on his best behaviour at those times, but he couldn't hide his true nature and I saw the wolf inside the sheep's clothing, totally out for himself and with no empathy or true concern for others at all.

You can and must get out. You will meet others along the way. The goal will not be to defeat them or even to succeed in spite of their sabotage. You should consider yourself successful IF their abuse does not cause you to give up and lose your faith in God.
There are extremely powerful spirits behind them and their goal is to lead you to despair. You will have passed the trial and won victory if this abuse does not lead you to give up on God.
You should try to get away, but when new ones come along, do not let them break your mind. Do not let them make you think you are crazy or bad. Do not let them break your mind. They can take your job and sabotage you in many earthly ways but if they don’t get to your spirit you’re doing good!!

I feel that I am a narcissist because when I self isolate, I start to think about the ways that I am selfish and angry towards others.I play the victim when I am causing the issue. For example, if someone told me the truth about myself(being irrational and very negative and defensive), I would shift what they are saying onto them and I would act like what they are saying is so terrible. In those moments, I don't realize that I am in the wrong, and I think I'm right. It takes me losing people to start realizing that I am the problem. I also yell when I think someone is "attacking" me when in reality, I am not understanding what they are saying to me or if they are being negative or they are just having a bad day, I disregard their feelings and thoughts, yell at them, and give them the silent treatment when they haven't done anything wrong. I always make things about me and I am self centered a lot. And I have been thinking about the times I thought I was being rational and doing something that is good. But I don't realize what I am doing in those moments and how it affects others. I need help to open up my heart and mind to jesus and God. I want to change. For peace and for my family. I need help.
You are on your way to getting help because you're asking questions congratulations I'm very proud of you❤ get your Bible Out start reading and get some support groups there's people out there that can help you, but at the end of the day you have to help yourself you have to want to be helped the light that you will have after this is worth it because it's beautiful and that's when God will bless you abundantly more than you've ever asked for
I can't even explain how this hit. My husband overdosed is crippled living in his parents house playing videogames and watching porn all day. He was given up to his reprobate mind and can not hurt me anymore. He trys to Harras me but it's minimal because he is bound
The sad part is that after him 3 months being in a coma I finally wet to see him thought I was hearing Gods voice to put frankincense and other things on him i did and he woke up 3 days lated after Drs saying he will be a veg forever. I used acupuncture healing frequencies oil and massage to help him recover. Hes still the same evil person he went in as. He even blames me for all his mistakes. What's crazy is he was one of the most talented beautiful guys I ever met. I recreated him before he overdosed. My beautiful girl has his gifts. I took the best of him before he ruined himself. Fell in love with potential, seeing the glimpses of what God could have done with him. His childhood took his soul and that will always be a pain that will never go away. 😢
I learned what love is not from him. He controlled me and lusted.

Unbelievers, or baby Christians, will tell you it's impossible, but all things are possible through Christ who came to deliver us all. People keep speaking curses against those with NPD not realizing they need help. We are all broken in some form or fashion, but Jesus came for ALL the brokenhearted.

How do I know if I’m a narcissist
watch videos about Narcissism and see if any of it describes you. I recommend watching videos by Dr. Ramani. She does a very good job of describing what they're like. Keep in mind most people have some form of Narcissistic tendencies, but that does not make them a Narcissist.
All I can think of is to check if you have a soft heart, and make sure you listen to others
I'd guess if you're even thinking it, wondering, then you're not. From my experience, a narcissist would never be bothered about such a thought!
Are you abusive to other people? Do you freak out on people over little things? Are you really controlling? Do you manipulate people to try to get your way? Do you need people to validate you only but can’t accept any criticism? Do you care how your actions effect other people? Are you always a victim and never the problem?
@@PrettyIndependent1 I think a better question is, do people say this about you? Often the narcissist does not see these traits within themselves, even when people point them out. If you even suggest they're any of these things to them, they'll make your life a living hell
