    Hi Marie,
I agree CAC is the best. Although the softness is something for me to get use to. I have to use gloves. But that's a krazy thing going on with me
    Lol
Great video. Love the clear way you explain the process 🌷
I just got my supply of the New Deluxe Satin Soy from WW. Another soft wax (its killing me ) So far the CT is great. My first batch I only stirred for 20 seconds since I was use to CAC. I'm now stirring for 2 minutes. Lol
I saw the vessel at the Dollar tree should have gotten some since that size is my favorite.

      Hi Marie,
Thank you so much for your reply!!
I burned my 1st Deluxe satin Soy Candle today. I gave it a extra day. Sister I have to tell you it is truly amazing and the short cure time makes it unbelievable. I could smell it in all my rooms upstairs
      WoW 😊
I completely understand your husband with the wax issue. I think I will need a bigger house to hold my candle supplies. I am outta control and it's a hobby for me😊
I did get another 10 lbs and almost got another when I was ordering the WW Marble Vessels (for me of course) .
I have since found 2 Marble vessels at a second hand store for 5.00 bucks each.
I don't think you will regret getting the wax of course of Hubby say its ok💖
Take care and l@@king forward to your next video. I'm learning from you and appreciate all that you do for us.

@@mariejeanne60 Yes Marie the Deluxe is 72 hours cure time
Beautiful. But I still love my CAC (because of the cost. I use it only for me maybe a close friend very close) lol 2 week cure is not that bad 3 weeks even better
If the Pandemic slows down my plan is to visit my husband in Ghana soon😏
I will make him a CAC candle and my Auntie one. I always carry wax melts and burners as gifts. I found some tea lights that last 6-7 hours.
I love the Deluxe because of the short cure time. Amazing ct and ht
One thing for sure I have plenty of everything
My WW order I placed today (smh)
      Is it for a while. I 🙏🏽

Hi Marie, do you think coco apricot wax is better than coconut wax for cold and hot throw?

  • @_libran_lair_911
    @_libran_lair_911 2 роки тому +7

Is this even including the paraffin that’s FDA approved? Because even at the wooden Wick co, if you look at their wax comparison chart that they have on their website, it shows ingredients in cocoa apricot and there is a little bit of food grade paraffin… just so you know ❤️
To be specific it says it includes SOY, RSPO PALM, and FOOD GRADE PARAFFIN So just be careful because I don’t want you thinking it’s one thing and it’s not. I didn’t know until recently myself. I realized the amount of paraffin they use in the wax is the same amount of paraffin that is used in children’s Crayola’s. Children are just fine when they color, it’s not any toxic them out so they say, they being the FDA LOL

Correct, but there's no Palm in this wax.

There's food grade paraffin in some medications. And paraffin isn't the same as it was 60 years ago. There is a technique manufactures use to strip as much toxins as possible. Also, candles sold to the masses are made with paraffin waxes laced with additives. Candle manufacturers aren't gonna use CAC, Coconut Soy, Coconut 83 waxes or any luxury wax because of the cost. Now there maybe a few candle manufacturers that use some of these waxes, but they are expensive, and there are probably additives included to reduce the amount of wax needed to make the candle and for it to perform well.

@@englishgarden2036Excellent info! Wade from Black Tie Barn (one of the biggest in the candle business) said that it was the SOY companies that toted the “paraffin is toxic” misinformation.
I mean, it certainly worked to their advantage lol. 😂 But todays paraffin is NOT toxic at all. Even soy wax is sourced using soybeans & the carbon foot print there alone makes it not much better than paraffin.
It’s tough to see so much misinformation in the candle world. I use coconut wax myself called No. 9 with a 72 hour cure time;) It’s absolutely incredible

I am very new to candle making but isn't there a small amount of paraffin in Ceda Serica?

    • @mariejeanne60

Yes, I mentioned that there’s a minuscule amount of paraffin. But comparing to other waxes, coco apricot is one of the top best wax.

I have never done it that way, and I recommend not mixing it with any other wax because the coconut Apricot is a great, easy to work with, and smooth wax. I wouldn't mix it. However, feel free to experiment.
