A popular French flaky roll & buttery pastry.
It is so good that’s why it’s been one of my favorite international bread☺️
✔️Ingredients
1 & 1/4 cup [300 ml] fresh milk
1/4 cup [50 grams] sugar
1 tbsp yeast [9 grams]
3 cups [384 grams] all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
150 grams butter
✔️Optionals
150 grams chocolate (for filling)
1 beaten egg (for egg wash) or liquid milk for substitute
*Substitute for fresh milk
-evaporated milk, almond milk
🇫🇷FRENCH
✔️Ingrédients
1 & 1/4 tasse [300 ml] lait frais

1/2 cuillère à café de sel
150 grammes de beurre

1 œuf battu (pour le lavage des œufs) ou du lait liquide comme substitut

3 tazze [384 grammi] di farina per tutti gli usi
1/2 cucchiaino di sale

Okay, so I viewed your video last night and thought I will make croissants in the morning. I love the fact that it did not take days to make, my sister has made them before and they took days. 😱😱 the fact that I made these a week before with the original method, wasted my whole day because the butter won't firm up that easily, even in the freezer (Indian climate fail).. And OMG I can't believe how easy it is this way... You're a GENIUS🤯🤯🤯... plus I can also control the amount of butter

it’s ok water can replace milk, it gets a chance to be more chewy. it’s just milk is richer in flavor.

I'm a fan of yours. Tried the dinner rolls. They were simply awesome. With the same bun recipe today I made curry bun.My son said they were of bakery standard. I wanted to learn how to make croissant. Went through few recipes but found yours to be the easiest. I'm going to try this weekend as I'll be going back to work on Monday after the lockdown. hi, yes pwede po though my tendency na maiba ang dough consistency, please adjust na lang accordingly. add up liquid or add up flour if it needs it to match the consistency :)

You need a good quality butter it makes all the difference.

Hi, I been thinking of trying this recipe, but I wonder if the butter will melt or not while proofing for 2 hour? Thank you in advance :)
it depends on the ambient temperature. based on my work on this bread, the butter did not melt much upon proofing the dough even at room temp, but it melted fast when i was shaping it, though still managed to have a good & flaky croissant🥰 or you may keep it in the fridge for a while after shaping it then bake.

Does the chocolate not melt n ooze out. I made jam buns but the jam oozed out.
