However, my point is that even after Ronaldo won the UCL 3times in a row, even after Ronaldo won the Euro Cup, he is still criticized after every single time his team loses a match. Take his first season in Juventus as an example. He literally scored 5goals in Second round and QF of the UCL. Because of defensive error, Juve lost out to Ajax. He was ridiculed because he couldn't deliver the UCL. If the same thing happened with any other player, the entire media would say how unfair it is to that particular player because team couldn't live up to the standard. The entire media criticized the Argentine team for so long saying they let Messi down. However, the media didn't do the same thing with Ronaldo, when he was in Juve. My point is that there is always a negative bias towards Ronaldo, by the media, no matter how many times he achieved/achieves things, breaks records, etc.

It is amazing to me. I imagine he has sacrificed a huge amount to achieve what he has. I have nothing but admiration for him. Fair play to anyone that decides to commit their whole life to being the best they can be. He deserves every accolade that comes his way. Look, I’ve been a Messi fan for majority of my football experience, still am of course. I’ve always says messi’s the better player, but I also appreciated Ronaldo’s mindset. But for him to come to the toughest league in the world, to put his United legacy, his career on the line is just unreal. Shows a lot about him and he’s still performing!?! It’s just absurd, we all knew he was a born winner but this, this is true levels.
