I watched football when United were too good to go down in 73' and the same with Forest side in the 80's. Both of these sides were better than what we have now. Yes Adam. This is the worst United team in my lifetime. I remember the last time we got relegated. This feels the same. I'm off to the bookies and put a bet on it tomorrow. Very, very depressing
Amorim has learnt a lesson that most Bruno fans have refused to believe or are unable to comprehend. Both Ralf and later in his reign also ETH knew, that when united faced a team that is well organised and possess a highly technical midfield, Bruno needed to be moved out of the midfield and placed somewhere he could cope and do less damage. The two above managers usually picked RW or false nine. Amorim has now learnt this valuable lesson and if he wishes to persist with Bruno or his clause won’t allow him to be benched, must address. The issue Amorim has is unlike other formations, there’s no wing position to hide Bruno in such situations and taking off the Striker to play literally 3 CAM’s plus a double pivot would be insane. So the question for Amorim will be: When facing a team that is well organised and possess a highly technical midfield.. Where do you play Bruno ???
Ten Hag and INEOS have set any recovery back years. The more I think about it from a business perspective I cant understand why INEOS came in as all I see are huge liabilities both on and off the pitch. Won't be long until they come under protest.
Ill enlighten you as to why Ineos makes no sense, Ineos are coming in to buy the club supposedly, so why would they want to make it a success if that ultimately means they would pay more for it. Its like you buying a house that needs renovating and instead of buying the house and doing the renovating yourself you renovate it first so the seller can charge you more money for a house that youve paid to renovate.
Glazers would rather see the fans burn the club to the ground than sell before new super league is sorted out. Won’t have new ownership until glazers on death bed.
A relegation battle has been coming for some time...I noted some yrs ago when you took the moments away from the team...we were a team positioned between 13th and 18th...and now the moments are not happening, we see the scale of the job. If they don't sign him at least 3 good players, and if Amorim does not tweak his tactics...we will be in a relegation fight
Massive respect to those who can still stomache watching this garbage i turned telly over once bruno got sent off. Honestly dont see man utd ever being a power house for atleast another decade. Too much crap to sort out. Was good while it lasted.
Jay you’re right to start with the Captain ! I have 11 out including him ! Antony, Malacia, Mount, Shaw, Zirkzee, Casimero, Onana, Rashford, Erikson, Fernandes, Garnacho. We sign…. Olmo, Osimen, Edersen, Raphina and 3/4 development players.
It is disturbing that 7 of the players you want removed were ETH signings. ETH was like a double agent trying to ruin the club. Ralphina whom you want was actually scouted by the club 3 years ago but ETH insisted we get Antony instead!
@@jonwilliams3664 I don't think anyone called Hojlund dire however he was another poor ETH transfer. He cost £65m excluding add-ons for a guy that scored 9 goals in Serie A. At the time I recommend Matteo Retegui and Santiago Gimernez for a combined fee of under £30m. Matteo Retegui has scored 12 league goals in 17 games this season plus 2 UCL goals playing for Hojlund's old Italian club. Santiago Gimernez is a 20 goal season striker. Santiago Gimernez had a release clause of just £16m and Matteo Retegui was sold for £11m. I could also name alternatives to Mason Mount and other trash ETH signings. The only success story from the £616m ETH spent was Mazoroui. ETH also forced the club to sell Alvaro Fernandez and Kovar. Onana and Bayindar together cost nearly £60m and both are probably worse than Kovar who was earning £7k per week.
The mental thing is, if these tarts go down can you honestly see them being able to hack it in the championship? That league’s brutal, Bruno would never be off the floor.
I'll never forget what Bruno did on March 5th, 2023 when he asked deluded ETH to take him off when Liverpool was 6nil up. This Bruno guy is a curse to the club and i can't see how someone can even rate him as a player.
Your goalie is causing you to loose games…he’s not saving important shots..when the games in the balance …start from the back and work forward .onnana first to go..everyone who has a ounce of football knowledge knows the keeper apart from a centre forward that scores is the second most important position .
Shite , does that answer the question? You're absolutely shite and years away from being seriously involved in title chases, LEVELS behind the top 4, night and day difference in quality, not 1 utd player gets anywhere near the team at any of the regular top clubs, NONE, that is ushited problem, no players would get a game for current top 3, that after all the money spent is embarrassing 😂
Honestly, no fan ever wants to see their Club in a relegation battle but if it was a guarantee to get rid of the Glazers and clear the Deadwood once and for all, I'd feckin dance to the Championship, with a bottle of Champagne. Maybe scorched earth, is what this Club seriously needs.
Marcin Bulka of OGC Nice (Ineos own this team). 6' 6" giant of a keeper; Polish international; commanding; good hands, great shot stopper; not too bad with his feet; gets down well to low shots; decent at penalties. Would cost £20MILLION. I would have him in this team toot sweet.

Ten hag should have been given the season. Amorim should have been brought in the summer with a window and a pre season. Expecting him to turn it around with a new system mid season was never gonna work. These players are poor but they are definitely better than what theyre showing in this new system. Even Mazroui is going backwards
I've had enough. It may take relegation to get rid of both Ineos and the Glazers. I hope it happens. Let me stress I have been through relegation with United before and those players cared more than these wasters do. But I am not blaming Ten Hag, this is squarely on the shoulders of the Glazers and their poor running of the club from top to bottom.
Adam, why would you think Man United would make top four this season under Ruben? Ruben made it clear after a couple of games there would be a storm. Fan expectation is OTT.
In my opinion ten hagg is a better manager then amorim, made the best of the players and was trying to build a future with young signings, slot was invested into ten hagg, should have kept him , 3 at the back does not work , amorim shud play 4at the back until he gets the players he wants and who can play in that system, poor management from amorim, seems like he wants the sack, as he wants to move back to Portugal, the weather is to much much for him to take 😂,
You can’t talk about getting rid of all the players then expect the team to have a positive mind set. Wait till the transfer window begins before talking about it. The fan base has to take most of the blame for these rumours about players leaving.
@lloydbligh5601 OK Confucius, calm down the trite proverbs, eh? I don't need to search in myself. Every club is similar and fans all over the world show emotion in various levels. It's why we pay the money and invest our time. Some clubs have higher expectations, be they right or wrong and within those expectations is revealed their passion and anger at times. Is a discussion on youtube gonna make Rashford train harder? If you are the second highest paid squad in England and one of the top 5 in Europe, that comes with a certain level of expectation. That's a fact whether you like it or not.

What’s wrong with being in a relegation fight? It’s not the end of the world. At least in the Championship we might be be able to score some goals and be entertained.
I haven't felt this down since, 2005, when we had miller, kleiberson, dejmba jemba, we were so lucky to have the greatest manager ever there at that time.

Lose to Newcastle and Liverpool, and then “yes” United go into a relegation 6-pointer with Southampton in mid-January. Then United face Brighton and Fulham. Hmm… a lot can change. But on current form United you wouldn’t back United against either Brighton or Fulham.
We can't play out because we haven't had a left wing back since 2023 early season when Shaw got injured in the wolves game early season. Regulon got sent back why is beyond me. And stil haven't got one and that's down to Ineos they as much to blame as the Glazer's. We need a full sale to get this sorted out.
Give some youth players a chance. As soon as Antony come on I knew we were in trouble. Not just him Bruno , dalot , onana . Not relegation but desperate situation
I was looking at the all time top scorers for Utd, and one thing becomes obvious . Only two of our recent squad are within the top 90; Rashford and Fernandez. Rashford the only one in the top twenty, and that's only because of the number of games he's played. I think that we need to buy another goal keeper in the window as Onana needs to be sent a message. In my opinion the only thing that could have turned this team around is a bully of a manager. A manager that would get stuck into the layabouts and and sort out the problems. A great tactical manager is all good, but tactics are no use if the players couldn't care less.
It's not the fault of the manager. It's not even the fault of the players, really. The players are just not up to it. But they didn't recruit themselves. It's the management - the ownership. Although the issues manifest as poor football - because that's the end product - the quality of football is just a symptom of a way bigger problem. Ancelotti wouldn't fare any better at United with this current set-up. Amorim, if anything, is the least culpable person involved.
Good point and the squad in general is a product of a decade of bankers running the football and transfer business side of the club but basically the club died in 05 as we know it when those corporate Yankee monkeys took over
The question is who do you keep and not who do you sell. Stop over rating players. Mainoo can't even last a full game. Good players have 30 good games and 8 okay games in a season not the other wsy round.
The Premier League screwed us by allowing the Glazer's to put us "legally" into debt and are now destroying our club actively by putting breaks on our spending due to the same debt they allowed.
Spending isn't limited by the debt it's limited by revenue, income. Debt has nothing to do with the limits it's a percentage of the revenue generated and that percentage includes wages, if anything is blocking spending its the wages, utd can still spend more than almost anyone else though so stop blaming outside sources, rules are same for everyone. Utd have 3/4 players who earn more than Salah who earns way more than everyone else at Liverpool, deserved. Utd problem is wages
Never thought I would say this but we need to do a Chelsea. This team needs pulled apart, no one should feel safe at this club. If you cant make an impact in 2 yrs, your out the door!! simple, this club was built on standards and as a fan from 8yrs old (34yrs) we should not forget that. The only players who are safe for another 2 years are Amad, Masaroui, Deligt, Ugarte, Yoro, Hojlund. The rest are done and need moved on. Bring in the youngsters, at least they play for the badge. Taking my 10 yr. old son over in March to his first game at Old Trafford (Arsenal) and now I'm dreading taking him to watch that crap!!
I called it about Yoro. Another terrible signing. Covered in tattoos, flash Harry, on loads of money - achieved absolutely nothing in the game yet no motivation to press on. Too much, too soon.
It's why the sensible clubs backed away from buying him, Liverpool, Madrid, PSG all thought he was overpriced and none would Go near his wage demands, he gets more PW than every Liverpool defender bar Van Dijk and Robertson who are senior international players, utd got him because they overpaid and are giving him stupid wages for a kid, hyped up by club and fans as oh he chose us over everyone else 😂, yeah because utd did the utd things, overpaid and gave him stupid wages , you have bought a dud. Trust me he isn't a 50m player certainly not now, maybe 3/4 years he might be but it's a lot of money to spend on potential when the team needs proven quality. 18/19 and they gave him 140k PW which Increases every year of his contract, all to win the transfer trophy 😂😂
Watching United for nearly 70 yrs it’s the worse team I can ever remember at United they overpaid and players like Bruno are brain dead if only the Arabs had bought us things would have been different bring in the academy players Amad is and Masarui Ugarte the rest are rubbish
I don't blame Amorim for this but can I ask a serious question:- How is it possible that a player who has apparently loved and played the game since being a child; be so bad and fail at the basics so often? Of course every sportsman makes the odd mistake every now-and-then but these players are proving week-in week-out that they have no instinct for the game. Schoolboy, dumb, low IQ mistakes that they've shown they can't even learn from!! That tells me these 'players' are/were mere athletes who've been hired to play football because of the money involved. It's the only logical explanation. Any other employee would be sacked for not doing their job properly.
4 sales (based on who we could actually get more for.... Zirkzee (£35M), Garnacho (£50M +/- £10M), Rashford (£40M - £20M we'll have to pay him to leave), Dalot (£40M). Everyone else I don't think we'd get any significant money for or we wouldn't sell. Other 'Sales'... Casemiro (free -Saudi only), Malacia (£1M), Shaw (-£12M), Lindelöf (free), Maaguire (free), Eriksen (free), Antony (£15M +/- £5M, -£34M still owed on transfer, -£10M on wages; total: -£29M +/- £5M)
Tbh I don’t see this current UTD team of shite reaching the magical number of 40 points for survival . I see us losing at least 50% of our next prem matches. I can’t see any points out of Newcastle and , Liverpool . Maybe one point at home to Southampton . That’ll be one point out of 9 next 3 games . The players have been exposed not being protected and are now rabbits in headlights realizing they’ve been found out .
Please Amorim - Drop Bruno Fernandes. Drop Dalot and don’t play Garnacho at all. Do this, and you’re already taking the disadvantages placed on the team by these players away. Forget winning football matches for now. Concentrate on being better defensively and if that means a few 0-0s so be it.
I think Adam said it well. He hasn't been completely honest about this team, many United fans haven't been. You became deluded under ETH, finally snapped out of it by sacking him and then became deluded again glazing over players and over patchwork performances. There are only 3 players to keep at United and they're Yoro, Mainoo and Amad for the long term. Some will stick around because they're okay, like Ugarte, de Ligt, Mazraoui, Martinez and a couple of others but they aren't United quality to where you want to go.
Adam said that utd will finish in the top 4 put it like this there more chance of JACK THE RIPPER getting a woman without a bunch of grapes than that happening lol
We need to get Vitek or Kovar back. At this point we just need a solid shot stopper to prevent these insane goals going in all the time. Onana can pass (sometimes) but we don't see the benefit lf that when he's shipping a ridiculous goal or two per game.
People need to think a bit more about the facts and not be sucked in by an agenda. Firstly, Tenhag finished 8th in the league and won an FA cup. Secondly, pundits and fans were claiming Man Utd had the best transfer window for years Ugarte-Yoro-Zirkze-Deligt-Masrawi Surely then Ruben Amorim was in a much better position with these 5 shiny new tools. But no, instead the agenda has become this is the worst set of players in Man Utd's history. You can't have it both ways, either it was a good transfer window, or it was not. It really does not matter because more then 600 million was spent on this squad in 2.5 years so to say there is no talent is ridiculous. The purpose of a coach is to improve the players he is given. Setting aside the 5 new shiny toys who of the players Tenhag finished 8th and won the FA cup has Amorim improved? Amad Diallo? I would argue Hoyland, Rashford, Bruno, Garnacho and Dalot have all got worse under Amorim. It is also clear that although injuries persist it has not been to the extent it was under Tenhag. Don't get me wrong, Tenhag was poor, and did not improve the team or the players. He should have been sacked at the end of season 2. I am merely questioning this agenda that has been going on under Amorim. The ONLY slack I can cut for Amorim is the short amount of time he has been here. Nonetheless the draw with Ipswich, and home losses to Nott Forest , Bournemouth and Wolves are really worrying. This agenda comes with talking up these teams like they are prime Barcelona. We were poor away from home under Tenhag but did better at home. All of these weaknesses, set pieces, not tracking the runners, giving away silly free kicks. There is NO sign of any improvement in any of these areas. This is the first press conference Amorim seems to have no answers. The confident fassade seems to be cracking here. I really hope this is just a case of him needing more time. Fans need to stop carrying on how he needs 10 new players, because we all know that will never happen. We don't have 600 million sitting in some pot somewhere, and even if we did the rules don't allow you to spend it. He needs to get on with the job of improving our players. No agenda's. He will be given time, but in the meantime needs to find a way to win at home. The fans need to stop bigging teams up like they are prime barcelona.

So let’s pretend all of his signings are bad and we are in this position because of them. Martinez Ugarte Hojlund Mazraoui De Ligt all play every week when they are available. Should we get rid of them too? Are they the problem? Without them would be in a better place?
@@fromthestretfordend7110 £616m was spent by ETH. His transfers were horrendous.
Managers don't spend money at Utd.😂
I was at the match Adam and we didn’t look like scoring. More worryingly we didn’t show any fight. We are in relegation form because we concede stupid goals, don’t create chances and therefore don’t score goals. I really don’t know where Amorim goes for here

As I said on the show. We got beaten by a team of athletes two games running.
Thanks for your honest and concise analysis.
For the longest time it seemed like a striker was first priority. It's to the point now where I haven't got a clue what the priority is. There are so many holes to fill and no money. I watched football when United were too good to go down in 73' and the same with Forest side in the 80's. Both of these sides were better than what we have now. I worry for Amorim in trying to rebuild this team. Only wins will buy him time but who can we beat???
Left footed player - Robinson from Fulham
Attacking player good on the ball - Cunha
Goalscoring striker - Gyorkeres or Oshimen or if not Mbeumo
@jakebudden6704 that's all dependent on selling players. That's another worry! Who is crazy enough to buy any of these players from us?

So the question for Amorim will be:
When facing a team that is well organised and possess a highly technical midfield.. Where do you play Bruno ???
A manager who won’t budge and plays 3 at the back regardless is not a top manager
Ten Hag and INEOS have set any recovery back years. The more I think about it from a business perspective I cant understand why INEOS came in as all I see are huge liabilities both on and off the pitch. Won't be long until they come under protest.
It’s gotten worse since ten hag has left ffs. Ten hag is clearly not the problem.

Why are United fans protesting about ticket prices by buying tickets to the Liverpool game and then protesting?
Massive respect to those who can still stomache watching this garbage i turned telly over once bruno got sent off. Honestly dont see man utd ever being a power house for atleast another decade. Too much crap to sort out. Was good while it lasted.
Recruitment is the issue. Clearing the squad is essential
Hojlund? Dire
What are you talking about mate? it was LITERALLY YOUR VERY LAST match vlog that you suggested this team could get in the top 4.
What's happened?
I'll never forget what Bruno did on March 5th, 2023 when he asked deluded ETH to take him off when Liverpool was 6nil up. This Bruno guy is a curse to the club and i can't see how someone can even rate him as a player.
Just because Gary Neville said that Bruno wanted to be subbed off doesn’t mean that’s a fact.
Lies
He NEVER asked to be taken off never!
We don't have the fight in us for a relegation battle,,teams below us fancy there chances and have been down this road before,,we are going down
Your goalie is causing you to loose games…he’s not saving important shots..when the games in the balance …start from the back and work forward .onnana first to go..everyone who has a ounce of football knowledge knows the keeper apart from a centre forward that scores is the second most important position .
We haven’t won back to back games all season! Absolutely appalling mason mount hasn’t completed 90 minutes in 3 years wtf are we
Shite , does that answer the question? You're absolutely shite and years away from being seriously involved in title chases, LEVELS behind the top 4, night and day difference in quality, not 1 utd player gets anywhere near the team at any of the regular top clubs, NONE, that is ushited problem, no players would get a game for current top 3, that after all the money spent is embarrassing 😂
WE HAVE 2 MIDFIELDERS WITH NO LEGS ON +300K P/W
Honestly, no fan ever wants to see their Club in a relegation battle but if it was a guarantee to get rid of the Glazers and clear the Deadwood once and for all, I'd feckin dance to the Championship, with a bottle of Champagne. Maybe scorched earth, is what this Club seriously needs.
Amad can talk to other clubs for a free transfer in a few days. His agent will be negotiating double what Utd are offering right now.
Keepers who play in Italy are always weak the Italian league don't pressure the keepers like we do in English football

The players already look to me like they've given up, gone in the head. Wolves are relegation contenders but they completely outplayed us, up next in the PL we have Newcastle and Liverpool. Then Arsenal in the FA Cup. This could get a lot, lot worse.
Ten hag should have been given the season. Amorim should have been brought in the summer with a window and a pre season. Expecting him to turn it around with a new system mid season was never gonna work. These players are poor but they are definitely better than what theyre showing in this new system. Even Mazroui is going backwards

We where never beating wolves today

You can’t talk about getting rid of all the players then expect the team to have a positive mind set. Wait till the transfer window begins before talking about it. The fan base has to take most of the blame for these rumours about players leaving.

If they get relegated don’t think for one minute they will bounce out of that. They will be stuck there for a long time.

People need to think a bit more about the facts and not be sucked in by an agenda.
Firstly, Tenhag finished 8th in the league and won an FA cup.
Secondly, pundits and fans were claiming Man Utd had the best
transfer window for years Ugarte-Yoro-Zirkze-Deligt-Masrawi
Surely then Ruben Amorim was in a much better position with these 5 shiny new tools.
But no, instead the agenda has become this is the worst set of players in Man Utd's history.
You can't have it both ways, either it was a good transfer window, or it was not.
It really does not matter because more then 600 million was spent on this squad in 2.5 years
so to say there is no talent is ridiculous.
The purpose of a coach is to improve the players he is given. Setting aside the 5 new shiny toys who of the players Tenhag
finished 8th and won the FA cup has Amorim improved?
If i was Ruben Amorim...i'd ask United to release me from my contract and go back to Sporting - who have just sacked the manager they hired to replace him.
He can resign at any point.
@@Standard_Jay Might United have some comeback on him for the money they spent getting him out of his Sporting contract? A contract works both ways; if United sack him they have to pay up his contract; can he just quit with no consequences? I don't know.
