I've been using the RS2 for a while, one change i'd like to see is the option to auto-lock the touchscreen. Find myself hitting it by accident so many times. I know there is a lock function, but setting it maybe so that it auto-locks after 30-60 seconds of inactivity would be great.
I got one. Still learning it. What's your go to lens you use on it and have you found a good quick release so I can access my camera quickly to put on a tripod. Thanks Sam, Jen

Yeah! I still use the sc. Just need 2 buttons and thats it. The problem with the sc if I want to do very fast movements it cannot keep up. Even on lighter cameras

The video is great. I need something more my level, a gimbal that matches up with my video making prowess. Something more like a stick that can hold my camera. I do have more inspiration than an Olympic runner, and this video added to that! tHanks for the video!
I ordered the RSC2 a couple of days ago and after watching a billion vids I cancelled and ordered the RS3... I am so glad I paid the extra $100 or so...
Axis lock is so unimpressive. It should be standard. Making a big deal about it just makes me wonder why these "smart people" took so long to incorporate this feature. And every youtuber is hyperbolic about how good it is. Massive nothing burger.

Always honest in my reviews, guys. People who have tried the locking system say they weren’t bothered until they use it. I’ve used it on a few jobs now and it’s so much quicker and very handy. Great addition. I don’t care what people do as long as they’re happy with their choices. You don’t have to buy anything and I never told anybody to buy anything

When comparing Active Track on the RS3 with Lumix S5ii vs active track on RS3 + Raveneye with Lumix S5ii, does the use of Raveneye work better for fast paced solo sports (tripod, solo/self filming)? As in, can the autofocus be locked onto the subject better when using Raveneye, vs relying solely on the S5ii AF interface with the RS3.

Another good reason for the pro: remote control. The RS3 Pro can basically replace a PT or PTZ head or camera with even the RavenEye and an iOS device, or of course DJI's $2500 pro remote system, but the RavenEye works great for casual use. I sent back the RS3 non-pro for the pro because, if I understand correctly, it doesn't support remote control with the RavenEye.
The RS3 combo comes with the focus motor. All depends on what size and weight your camera setups will be. If it’s less than 3kg, then go for the RS3! 🙏🏻

@@benfilming Well, they both produce the same results, and actually I am a better gimbal operator on the weebil S because I got so used to it... still working out how not to get robotic like movements from the ronin! But I love how the ronin locks up, how sturdy it feels, how easy it is to set up. Just the sturdy build quality alone makes it such a joy to use, so im stoked with it!

The rs3 pro, when connected to raven eye, you can have active track from the gimbal without the need for a phone, rs3 doesn't do this

Ive never put my motors to sleep going from briefcase back to standard on my rsc 2. Its actually very fast and simple.

Does the rs3 (not pro) go with tilta power supply base plate...and tilta float ecosystem. Since it has battery grip removable.

RS2 doesn't take 15-30 secs to unlock, it takes 5~8 seconds max 😂

Idk if it’s “game changing.” Locks are nice but the stabilization is 99% the same as the RS2 tbh.
When you use it, it is a game changer. Soooo much easier to work with on a full day of filming 🤩🎥

It works well but I find it a bit tricky to hold. I would recommend the vertical mounting plate so you can hold the gimbal normally 👌🏻🎥

Ive been putting up with the Zhiyun Weebill S for a while now but I guess it's time to get a high performance gimbal with better reliability.
