- An in depth look at the my experience with the Staccato P, modifications, comparison, value, and performance. Is it the cheat code some people say or is it just overpriced and hyped?
I appreciate your observations about lights and optics and how they impact shooting feel.
Thanks I appreciate that! I was quite surprised at the behavior change without the light and adding that optic. It was quite settled in its stock form, I couldn't spend a lot of time on it here because the video was already too long. I managed sneak it in
@@MoneyShot_CM I believe it's why we see a lot of UA-camrs shoot with giant lights int heir reviews. It makes them look like more competent shooters and the guns look smoother!
@@GBGuns yes it's definitely a crutch. Everyone is eeking out every bit of performance they can. A lot of channels are built around that, I'm not showcasing my shooting ability, just sharing info I wish I had. Maybe someday I'll get to that point lol. Your channel is a good mix of shooting ability and information, I watch it all the time.
@@MoneyShot_CM Thank you. I try, but it's also the result of more than 60 full days of quality training spread out over several years
@GBGuns I hear that. I stopped shooting for a number of years and fell off some from where I used to be. Not practicing for that long doesn't do you any good. I now go weekly, and can see improvement.
The P is a great gun. Staccatos period have earned the status of great guns. Reliable, great 2011’s. My XC is simply amazing to shoot. I think I will pick up the P just because I like Staccato that much. Great video man.
Yeah I think of them as the standard to measure everything. Solid guns. I love the XC, wish it was less expensive. This one started out a little rocky, but I finally got it dialed in.
Yes, the price on the xc is a tad steep. I dont mind the polymer frame even as I believe it soaks up some of that recoil in sense, but that curved plastic trigger was a huge no. After 200 rounds, I felt like I was gonna break it. It just does not go with the premium feel of the gun and the way it shoots. I bought a red dirt trigger for it. Once that is put in, going to see how it runs. May get a stipple job on the grip as well not sure yet
@a.d.c7941 Yeah I got a red dirt trigger for my next build, I kind of like those we'll see how it goes. That should work nice for you I've heard good things
Good info 2 pistols is a good choice nice work! Wow the grip, pinned grip safety, and short metal trigger are fire 🔥. That CZ/DWX grip is elite the only thing that holds back double stacks from being way better; the cheely, mpa, Hayes, Atlas, and Vulcan grips look closest too it to me.
Yeah I'm dying for somebody to make a 2011 grip with insertable g10 panels. Give me some Palm swells already
Watch bracelet needs sizing!
Old footage, already taken care of, thanks 😂
Which is more accurate for you to shoot between those?
My custom no question,, but if the Wilson had a red dot I think it would be right there or better. I'm almost as accurate with it with the irons.
