I appreciate that. Roy has his own channel, and I will assist him when I have time and he asks for it. Having said that, we are working on the next video now as we speak.
Next vid will have one (Paul story). As for an espresso machine, if you can find one used you can save $$$. A rebuild kit for one of these is around $85, and you shouldn't need to do it but once every several years.
I can only imagine Paul sitting at a little impromptu campfire with a fire blackened 30 year old campfire pot bubbling away watching you draw espresso through your window just kind of shaking his head. Smiling of course, but still shaking his head. Next video from Paul "Why I don't like Hyper Coffee Makers" This is gonna be good stuff! I'd rather drink fruitcake blood than even hold a cup of coffee, but I'm subscribed.
@Espresso_with_Saul he had good taste. It always just tastes like burnt water to me 🤷🏼. People keep telling me I've just never had good coffee. I tell them "yes, you are right, I've never had good coffee"
How many bar does that thing get to? You drink BOTH shots? Wow, that must be strong. Dark roast is pretty good for espresso. Bonus points for mentioning grinding by weight and that weight varies due to weight, type of bean, age, etc. I'm home taught but I haven't dove to espresso yet. I do pour over on a 1:16 ratio.
@@Gigaheart so from what I understand the two shots in the shot glasses, technically equal one shot of espresso. I may be wrong, and it is stronger than say a traditional shot from a coffee shop. Ask for pressure, according to the manual, the boiler is heated to one bar of pressure and the spring loaded lever adds it up to eight bars of pressure when pouring. When I am by myself, yes, I just typically have both of those shot glasses worth. If there is one other person with me, my ideal amount is one more shot glass, or one and a half shots. I do not drink, energy drinks or soda pop, so that is typically the extent of my caffeine for the day unless I happen to have one more pour in the afternoon. Thank you for your question.
Just heard you started this channel! Subbed!
@@MinutemanTheory Thank you. I should start having more regular content after the first of the year.

Thank you. Now that my wife/cameraman is back, we should have more content very soon.
This looks interesting
Fuck me, now I need an Expresso machine. Had an old Krups I loved for many years. Tell us some Paul stories.

Haha I'm your first viewer. Not bad. It's way better than the vids I posted of the bowling pin matches. 😁
i am not an espresso expert, but this is very interesting to watch.

Well, I can tell you, Paul didn't care for coffee in the slightest so I doubt he would ever have even tried mine

@@Espresso_with_Saul So much like myself. The energy comes from coffee. Elegantly beautiful machine.
