I played like ass because I had to use the handheld mode for these matches, but I saw you streaming this game that night and noticed that like 4 people were playing this game and somehow I got some matches in with you, Max. It was nice playing against you for the first time ever, even though I was misinputting and got thoroughly spanked.

How to get good at Ultra Street Fighter 2: go balls deep and pray to god the opponent doesn't know how to block.
Also pick any of the Shoto's. It's basically a guaranteed victory.

You are right man. Blocking in USF2 is WAY better than just taking the damage, especially since my main has a ToD (though I have trouble using it in actual matches). Either way, thanks for the matches. I don't mind that I got 1 less match than the others, since it felt like a legit best of 3

Random thought, is it possible this game has been balanced in this way (high damage and crazy shit) which makes matches shorter because they are expecting it to be more of a pick up and play, around town, quick play game? Like on the ads where the person randomly challenges someone else on a whim. I feel like its sort of built for that.

Hey Max, if you're having bad online connectivity, make sure your Switch is on your 5ghz network if your wifi router supports it.
The Switch's internal wireless reciever is pretty shoddy it seems, but having set mine to the 5ghz net, I've had solid connections with pretty much everyone I've played, and I live in the middle of the U.S.. I doubt there are too many people playing near me.

I don't think the games expensive, I think a switch and 2 sticks is expensive if you only want the system for one fighter.

Gief's stage in SFV also has proper Russian... I think, the matryoshkas are a bit hard to read. I was referring to SF2 remakes specifically.

I love how people keep going on about how great Switch is because you can 'play it on a plane'. Like people take a plane every day.
AncientPurpleDragon eh, the switch seems to be targeted to an older audience, but I doubt most business men that do travel via plane may not dabble with video games
Just play Super Turbo on Fightcade. It's better than both this game and HDR when it comes to online play, and you can set the game filters to make it look pretty smooth.

Chock in Alpha 3 and the EX series while we're at it along with Power Stone 2 and the Star Gladiator games including Cyberbots since Star Wars and Robots are easily cinema blockbusters.

This game had more characters than SFV and more stages and more modes than that piece of crap had at launch.
So Ive been watching your stuff for awhile now. I have come to the conclusion you need to make a "Let's fuckin go" compilation. Thats like 20 mins long made of all of the times you've said that when you're bodying an opponent (its a lot) That would be quite entertaining.

Grant Duvall yeah it is cause I would laugh it's worth it I'm calling bullshit seeing as this is only early stages of SFV you can't really say much I've said it once and I'll say it again if you want to play sf4 or 3rd strike or what have you go ahead but games need to evolve no matter how crappy it may seem now just imagine if this game was the the last SF game ever made then what no 3rd Strike no SF4 no USF4 none of it because people don't like changes no matter how much you try the other argument is that the more you complain it makes a difference maybe it does but you still got to give games time Capcom didn't give Sf5 time it's still flawed in many ways it's still very much half assed but I don't mind playing it I like both 4 and 5 the latter is lacking could be better but I'm not just gonna shit on it cause it doesn't meet my expectations
