I would say that with the king pins of each front wheel welded as they are, the distance between the wheel will change when the wheels are sprung . Try loading the front wheels when the bake is stationary and the contact point of the wheels with the ground will try to move sideways, It may work but the tyres may wear out faster than if if the contact points on the ground between the two front wheels did not change when the springs are activated and loaded. ,
