can someone here tells me what was the ending of Daimos? I'm very young when it was aired in PH and that time I was a Voltes V fan so I didn't really gives attention to Daimos. Now that I"m older I 'm interested cus of the love story part. lol
Daimos raided the main alien base. They solved the conspiracy. The king of the aliens diverted the base to a planet (Jupiter, I think) in an attempt to commit suicide. Richter (Erika's brother) sacrificed himself to save people. Happy ending then. I watched it too when I was very young. Daimos's control method, which copies the pilot's movements, attracted my attention. Comabatter V and Voltes V control seemed illogical even though I was a child. That's why I liked Daimos more. I watched all three again about 15 years ago when I was at university. Combatter and Voltes offers nothing more than a 70's mecha anime. Daimos has all the nonsense of the mecha anime of the period, but with more coherent storytelling and at least some character development. Unless you're a hardcore mecha fan, none of them are worth watching right now. Only Daimos has some potential if it gets remake.
