That extractor is gangster. Kinda like a salad spinner. Then honey through chinois. Guess after you can just hose everything out. Great video Lizzie. 😃🍺

Thanks for sharing with us just how much work it is to harvest honey. I think we tend to take it for granted when we go to the grocery store too buy commercially produced honey just how much work goes into the process!

How long does it take to do two frames? How many times do you turn the frames over?
Not a long time, maybe 2 minutes? I spin them one way until I stop hearing the honey hit the walls of the extractor, then I spin the other way for a bit. Easy peasy!

I lost the ball bearing. Having a hard time setting it up. What size do I need. ? 9-15-2023

Bill C 10 frames in one hive, 8 frames in the other.

Around 4 lbs per frame. So around 2 to 2.5 lbs per side! Busy little bees!

I need a new extractor. Had one similar. Handle broke, now the plastic lids broke and frame holder has a few loose rods in it. Only lasted like 5 or 6 extractions so won't buy that again.
I have one like this too. Made in China. It broke during the first extraction, so I had to modify it. Take care Brian!
This one keeps falling apart. But just from the vibrations.
