But the aperture usually effects more so the edges of the frame rather then dead centre, so if you was to zoom in to 200% in the corners especially, this would become much more noticeable??
Quick fix for F11 I would use the sharpen filter in Final Cut Pro. I use it all the time for cloudy day shots. Not much sharpen is needed though. Image get weird if you use too much sharpen.
I thought I saw someone showing a specific sharpness setting with the latest firmware for the Mavic 3 series but if there is such a setting I can't find it. I've tried to find the video where I saw that but so far I haven't had any luck. That's one thing I like about Autel drones is they bring out much more detail with their sensors.
Hello Matt. Thanks for that great video, this does show that the camera on the Classic is no match for the camera on my now old M2P, the sweet spot for that was f5.6 but it looks like it's 2.8 on the new classic which is rather disappointing as the depth of field is going to be very shallow. seems like DJI are going backwards in the quality of the cameras but forwards in there pricing. Very sad. Thanks.
Great video, 2.8 to go with in my opinion, it's the sharpest and the cleanest. as it seems to me the glass on that sensor isn't working great. Thank you
Thanks for the effort you put into this! I’m finding there is noise in the video, no matter the settings or lighting conditions. The detail is bad in trees for example, zoom in any video, and it’s noisy. This is in Norm and DLOG too. I love the extended flight time, and quietness, but my Air 2S takes far better video. Quite disappointed with this purchase 😢
Really helpful Matt, just picked up the 3 pro, gutted the aperture does not allow depth of field or am i missing something?

The quality of the telecamera of the Mavic 3 has improved a lot. I have made a lot of money with it and using it daily.
What does the tele enable you to charge for? Photography?
Really useful. Thanks a lot!
Great test! This is so important it should come on the spec sheet of the drone.
Thanks for this video, very useful information in determining where that fall-off point in image quality roughly occurs.
Really helpful, thank you!

Greg with pilot Institute did a very good comparison between the Mavic 3 Classic and the Mavic 2 Pro.
Great job
so what is your opinion? I am between f4 or f5.6 ? this is same for Mavic 3 pro?
I think anything below F8 is good! The image gets mushy above it. I think the sweet spot is F4-5.6!
