I love the way Skyes only cuts when he's doing something repetitive or tedious. Most people cut whenever they feel like it, but he only cuts when it gets boring

That would be good for a futuristic world, I’d just keep it shiny copper and not whethered

The reason you aren't finding a lot of iron is the Caves and Cliffs update reworked the entire ore gen system. You're not deep enough and you're just getting little bits. Looking forward to the series!
Should take a crafting table with you when you go mining so you can craft all the ores and coal into their block versions so you can gather even more! :3

Just a heads up for when you update to 1.21, iron golems can hit you up 3 blocks so you need to go up 4 blocks. 😊 Edit: this may not be true, i built up 3 and it couldn’t hit me but i heard it in a sb737 video. Still be careful though!

Hey skyes, really excited for the new series. one thing you should keep in mind with the goals you stated. if you explore a lot of chunks those will not be able to spawn in dungeons and any other new terrain/ structures coming with the new update so it might be smart to explore in one irection and save the chunks for exploring 1.21 areas upon updating. otherwise youd have to travel some serious distance to find the stuff since you will need unexplored chunks which have not been loaded before

I have 2 things you should consider when making these videos: 1) release the seed to your world, it’s a great seed and it will allow your viewers to play along with you 2) keep it slow paced allowing people to follow through your videos without being left behind if they play along with you

I’ve started silk touching all my ore, copper especially, that way you have it when you need it and it takes up waaay less space in your inventory while you’re out.
Can we have a gaint tree streching into the sky? In the branches can have the librarians, and the roots can be an underground railway or somthing! I feel like itd be so cool!
I think you should use the copper to make a museum like its futuristic so you could use the copper to show how people would control lightning and shit in the old days or like what they would use for the roots of their houses. You could also make like a rocket with it and the rocket is your home and its like a super big rocket on its side that crash landed on this planet...... Or not y know im just spewing ideas love the series I really enjoy the second channel series and so I hope I enjoy this one just as much :)
I think a cool idea would be to put a glass case around your first build after a while into the series to memorize it without it looking out of place 😌 ❤❤❤ much love
I would love to see you build like a portal hub and set up all bases to the hub. And have like a farming area and like a trader area. Or make like different time periods for every portal.
What you should do is make a giant 3600 room modern apartment complex and decorate every room with villagers inside each one. Your welcome for the idea, the reason it popped up is because i made a 7200 room apartment fully decorated😊. Build a giant under ground storage room as well and don't decorate the wall, use the normal generation of the atone and stuff for the floor but change the walls.😊 Your welcome for the very long comment 😁😝
if you make copper blocks and leave them outside, they will turn this blue almost green color that could be great for futeristic builds. I may be wrong on this part, but you might need to wax it to keep it that color. Another idea is to use copper blocks to make gears, idk what style or idea it would be used for. I do have other ideas on what to use copper for but ill leave it at this for now.
The villagers are pathfinding threw the trapdoors to the composter and stonecutter, that's why they hand around the door and not pick up the food. Plus, if you move the villagers with carry-on, they might keep occupying the beds so they don't count towards free beds to make babies.
Great start! If you use the mod called Jade it will show the info for the Beehives and will also show the speed and jump height of horses etc. Very useful. 🙂
You can take a crafting table with you so when you're collecting ores (like copper and cole), you can make it into raw blocks which will take up significantly less inventory space

You can just put trap doors on top of the holes with water in them for your crop farms! So you can easily walk around without falling in the water

You can sell steing to fletchers. That makes a spider spawner almost worth it.
Also combine your raw ores into ore blocks.

What you should do is make a giant 3600 room modern apartment complex and decorate every room with villagers inside each one. if you make copper blocks and leave them outside, they will turn this blue almost green color that could be great for futeristic builds. I may be wrong on this part, but you might need to wax it to keep it that color. Another idea is to use copper blocks to make gears, idk what style or idea it would be used for. I do have other ideas on what to use copper for but ill leave it at this for now.

The villagers are pathfinding threw the trapdoors to the composter and stonecutter, that's why they hand around the door and not pick up the food. Plus, if you move the villagers with carry-on, they might keep occupying the beds so they don't count towards free beds to make babies.
Just a tip: using fortune on crops will give you more than usual amount.

You can take a crafting table with you so when you're collecting ores (like copper and cole), you can make it into raw blocks which will take up significantly less inventory space
