- Another quick instructional video on how to service the Oil and Oil filter on my 2013 VW T5.1 2.0 Bi Turbo Diesel campervan.
This Is a relatively easy DIY job with the right tools and equipment to replace the Oil and filter, easy if you have an oil suction pump that works, not so easy if you have to raise it up on wheel ramps
This is part of my full service video including replacing the air filter.
Swapping these filters is a relatively easy job for the home mechanic with little tools required

Nice stuff Tony! I bought a Sealey 6.5ltr vacuum extractor 8+ years ago and it’s fab removing oil through the dipstick (but noticed you hadn’t removed the oil cap, it could be that which stopped the machine working?
Good point! It wouldn't have helped leaving the cap on.
What size did you say oil removal tool was 74 or 76mm?
Hi, it just says 74/76 on the tool. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I'll have another look when I get chance. Good question though. Thanks
