      Here's an idea. Why doesn't our government or nato work to stabilize most world markets so people don't have to migrate. we're secretly feeding the machine that eats up financial markets in nasty ways all for greed. The richest countries are getting manipulated and used as puppets by the a small group of elite leaders that work in background. We're dumb enough to allow our government to move out of gold backed money. Now our money can loose its value in a day. Just like it's happened to other countries. We haven't cared when that happens so now we see the outcome of world collapse, theft of financial markets. A second type of war we seen and done nothing to stabilize or rid the world of that theft.

    It's strange how there is little to no coverage of migrant inflows FOR YEARS at Canada's southern border (from US into Canada). The problem still persists today. While I acknowledge the migrant problem on the US side, I think the coverage is largely one sided. The following is an excerpt from CBC, written in 2018:
    The federal government spends an average of about $14,000 for each asylum seeker crossing into Canada outside of legal border points - a cost that's expected to rise as the case backlog grows, says Canada's budget watchdog.
    In a report released Thursday - Costing Irregular Migration Across Canada's Southern Border - Parliamentary Budget Officer Yves Giroux said the total cost for the asylum claims process was about $340 million in 2017-2018 and is expected to rise to $396 million

      I don't think there's anything new or strange about US news outlets not covering issues moreso affecting Canada or covering them in a very limited way. Mind you I'm not saying whether they should or shouldn't, but even big international issues drop out of the spotlight while still ongoing if the outlets feel people are tired of it or that something else is more exciting

      Those numbers are meant to infuriate us but the truth is the government is given that money back for each person that is granted asylum the bill is foot by UNHCR of course we contribute to that fund but definitely the US and the Canadian governments do not pay for refugees the problem comes when they deny them asylum then yes taxpayers will have to foot that bill because the person will have to go the Feds Court to have an appeal which can take years and if they lose that case the Feds pay for their travel expenses back to their home country so there's a lot that's involved that people don't bother to educate themselves on and politicians are happy about that lack of education they will start culture wars and fuel xenophobia

It's the responsibility of the government of a particular country to provide clean water and the basic amenities.
      Life is not easy in your country either.It's your ego that you like to think " we are developed, we are rich, we are lucky to be born in America." • @canadaone2385
      @canadaone2385 Рік тому +10

      not a mystery at all. what kind of statement is that. its easier to cross in winter because there is less surveillance and inclement weather provides a cover. they choose to come to canada because canada provides financial opportunity, good administration, free healthcare and education. and also because their home countries are unstable places. i think canada should let poeple in but we shouldn't naturalize people anymore. only through descent of all current canadians should there be future canadians. and all immigrants should have to pay for their own healthcare and education. we should be like the emirates. privileges for citizens only.

    Generations ago migrants used to go between countries over seasons, to get better work, usually returning back to their family with some savings to last through winter. Restricting travel, requiring visas, all of the modernization of boarders, has only made them ineffective. Thousands of agricultural workers would travel across the southern boarder and return back to Mexico. When we forced people to "pick a side" is when most of our current issues started. I know there's no realistic way to return the boarders into what they used to be, but all I want to say is there was a time when boarders didn't need patrols and people freely crossed into our country for work and shelter.

    Not all citizens are at risk in their home country. There maybe some who are prosecuted for their anti- gov't policy, but they are few in nos. These illegal migrants just think that they will have a better life in the West (which countries and people they hate btw). These people should realized that running from their home country will not solve their problems. They will suffer for a long time (discrimination, poverty, homesickness) and eventually go back to their home country and face the same situation as when they left, or worse. @@sammexp It wasn’t exactly unfair for Canada to require visas on Mexicans, they still require a visa to visit the US, even as tourists, while yet many Americans can even just basically freely walk into Mexico at the border, let’s be frankly real, Mexico (just like any other sub developed nation) can’t really have much of a luxury to take a stance in being totally reciprocal with first world countries like the US and Canada because the sub developed countries need more from the US/CA tourism and such then viceversa. And this news coverage proves that Mexicans and other Latin American citizens keep looking up to the US/CA to migrate, whereas it isn’t the same viceversa, so of course the flow of people from countries like Mexico and below require more scrutiny and control.

    There is just one major fact that I don't understand ,concerning the US policy on migrants coming into the country. The US Gov't can't take care of its own people, and doesn't give the impression it even cares about them. Yet all these people pour in for decades over the borders, demanding they be given a new life in the USA. They don't ask or apply for entrance they just pour in, and literally demand they be allowed to live their life in the USA. It just amazes me this demanding doesn't turn off the American population. You can't really justify it by America has always been a country of immigrants, because the one's coming in now are not the same type of immigrant. It is an insult to every immigrant that arrived in the USA in decades past that built the USA, and did not get any handouts at all when they came. The current batch receive help and financial assistance etc etc at the expense of the American taxpayers, many that don't have much more than the migrants. Of course this is never talked about, as if exactly what I mentioned doesn't even exist. Whether they come in from the Southern Border or the Northern Border it needs to be stopped and or controlled properly. You want to come to the USA fine then you do it legally, like the rest of us that came here. Then when you get here you assimilate which lets be honest, doesn't seem to be going on period.

    Those people coming through with children need to be charge with child abuse and all those children need to packaged up and returned to their originating countries without parents. The US needs to start back billing each and every one of these countries for the related expense of managing these illegals. The standards afforded to those who cross illegally where they are provided housing at the expense of taxpayers is a disgrace when the US homeless population consisting mostly of military veterans and people who were born in this country, worked a better part of their lives in this country and were tossed to the streets over fraudulent mortgage foreclosures from the money laundering between banks and drug cartels, all strategic moves made to furnish housing to these trespassers. They need to rip their families in a million pieces like what has been occurring through the family court system for years. I never thought I would say this, but war in the US is right around the corner. This handing out on sympathy rides has gone too far. As a Conservative, I'm strongly against illegal immigration.
    I'm from Ukraine and I visited dozens of countries and lived long-term in 4. Currently, living in Toronto, Canada. Do you think it was easy for me to get a good remote job, save up enough money and go through bureaucratic processes of getting certain visas? No, but life isn't easy.
    I don't think that everyone is entitled to American passports just because that's what they want. Laws exist for good reasons and they should not be broken.
    I also think that all legal immigrants must speak local languages. There are way too many immigrants in Toronto, who either don't speak English at all or speak it very poorly and it directly affects me because they can't provide services properly. I'm just sick of it.

  • @sweetluvgurl
    @sweetluvgurl Рік тому +16

    Hmm, interesting, because the right side of politics has been saying that it’s an issue since forever but gets deemed as just “racist” for it.
    How about the fact that only so many people can live in a given area at a time. It’s really just common sense….
    However, of course, speaking against a certain political agenda only gets you crucified if you don’t completely agree and blindly follow it.
    This is why I’ve grown beyond tired of politics. Why can’t the two sides just be combined to find balance? That’s the real answer, in my opinion.
    Two-sided political battles only are set up to have a country that is divided and fighting itself. Yet, it seems like so many people are blind to that and just pick one side. Then, there will be people from each party fighting each other, and insulting each other, like children.
    Life isn’t just black and white. There is a lot of gray area, too.
