If never ceases to amaze me to hear about the harrowing experiences of your fellow Scientologist escapees. Sterling’s attitude about always finding the ethics minded as being the stupidest thing ever created reminds me so much of myself in middle school rejecting the Churches I had been brought up in. They’re cowards controlled by money and potential rumors. Celebs care too much about their image to risk damaging it.
If I were you, I would never expect anything more from them than the most selfish acts possible.
Of course there’s some like Leah Remini, but the vast majority of them never will and if they do, they’re doing it because they’re getting paid by someone to. For example, if Laura Prepon started talking about it, I would wager that someone convinced her with a high enough price to open up about it.
@knelle1114 you have to understand that not many of the celebrities are aware of the abuses because they don't have the same experiences as those in the Sea Organisation or the members of staff.
They have likely left for other reasons unrelated to the abuses that occur.
Leah herself had a different experience to AAron and Mike and it probably wasn't until the issue with Shelly that she took her blinkers off. It was only then that she was finally able to look at the 'cult' with a fresh set of eyes. I think it is in her nature to be outspoken and she was one of the lucky ones whose family agreed to leave with her.
Some of the other celebs still have family members in the cult and therefore would likely prefer not to be declared SP's or PTS's or they would be forced to disconnect.

Aaron, why aren't they going after the church for Racketeering and get them on a RICO indictment? Any organization's funds used for an unlawful activity such as harassment, intimidation, terroristic threatening especially if it's linked directly to the chain of command by policy or direction. someone is writing the checks.

Amazing the lengths this so-called-church goes to keep one person in the "church" - the expense they pay to move people around just for one child/adult is mind-boggling.
I have half siblings and step siblings too. I only had one full sibling and he passed away . I love all my siblings but there is something different about a brother that has both the same parents as you. Its not that i dont love them, its just different.
As an outsider, I have to wonder what keeps people there?.. With so little pay and bad conditions. What is COS so afraid of?...

They lose their family friends and have no education or any formal training, probably fear of the unknown of the outside world. Scientology tells then they can’t make it without Scientology because that is all most of them have known being brought in as a child with parents. It’s a huge trap. Manipulate them with mind control. It really is a crime organization, including child labor and many trafficking situations. Hoping the laws will revoke the organization of their “RELIGIOUS” freedom gained by USA giving non-profit STATUS by USA IRS. desperately needs to be revoked as a NON-PROFIT RELIGIOUS ORG.

My wife and I are loving your content and the content of similar channels. Being from the UK it's very strange to us the control Scientology has.
We do have a few questions though. You and others use a lot of short hand, like RTC and Sea Org but I haven't really heard an explanation of what those things actually are or why it's called the Sea Org?

Not really. The sea-org is the "clergy", coming from kids raised deep in it, mostly. Then they have a whole jargon for people overseeing their "worldwide empire" by sections. T stands for Technolology, which doesn't mean anything to us (babbletalk, gobbledygook) but is everywhere for them. RTC= Religious Technology center. Either you find Aaron's contents published long ago, one of his DESCRIPTIVE posts was about inefficiency. He explained a lot about the inner workings. Don't get sucked in it. just don't confuse RTC with RPF ( basically a hard work/ humiliation program that can go on for years until you abide without questions).
The hole is a form of RPF. Where people break or escape
The sea-org is like au-pairs or 19th century personnel in the old days, but worse. They can't watch what they want EVER. Any web access is controlled (parental rules), the list goes on for 50 bucks/week in controlled environments. Some break their backs 60 hours a week, some are desk managers 80 hours/week, same pay, no reward.
but kids are encouraged to get married if they kiss. And strongly dissuaded to have offspring. Abort or go is the modern solution.

QUESTION FOR STERLING. Can you please give us a breakdown on your family tree? It seems that you have so very many relatives who are half or step siblings, some still in Scientology and some not. Am I correct in remembering that you are somehow even related to Miscavige himself? I would love for you to do a breakdown of the family dynamics and an interview with each relative who has left, why they left, how they accomplished their escapes. Could be a whole series of videos if the family web is as intricate as it seems.

Love AAron but it seems to me that most Scientologist have to know every element of a story before they let the speaker continue on with the story, could this be because of auditing?
It drives me nuts! It comes across in a weird way, it almost seems like they are coaching them on what to say, or how to say it. It’s like how a psychologist shows they’re listening lol by paraphrasing what you said back to you and confirming that they got it right before they respond.
I'm like that and I'm never in.
I've watched Aaron for years and it's never bothered me. I think it's easy to tell from facial expressions that Aaron's really engaged and listening and trying to put pieces into a full picture in his mind. I think he stops people and asks questions when he just wants to get the full picture before he can move on.
I actually like this about AAron. He manages to extract a lot of additional information from the speaker that I find informative.
AAron is very methodical and always presumes that there are people watching who may never have watched before.
Sterling, although enjoyable to listen to, sometimes leaves out information pertinent to the conversation.
I love when this duo chat about their experiences.
I find that all the SPTV characters like to interject as they all have information that gives greater depth to any of their shared experiences.
