Yep, I was the same. We had this Advert for meat here years ago in Australia (middle to late 80s I think) which was meant to be amusing, where a young woman (Naomi Watts) wins a radio competition to go out on a date with Tom Cruise which she was all excited about until she asked "when?" and the radio host replied with "tonight!" but she replied with that she couldn't "because mums cooking a lamb roast!" Which was the punchline/response! At that time so many females thought forget the roast they'd prefer the dinner with Tom Cruise! I thought that I'd prefer the lamb roast 😅

It's possible to deal with the mood swings, weird/morbid thoughts and differing energy levels by using coping strategies but full psychosis (losing touch with reality) can't be fought that way.

Scientology culture has completely infested Hollywood. It's honestly been like this since before Scientology, LRH just added fuel to the fire that was already blazing. Their grip on Hollywood is every bit as comprehensive as the days of the Blacklisting that went on. Same mentality. No one speaks out against COS without some form of retribution.
They even do it to people before the person has spoken out, because time is not linear so that's a thing. I know I sound batshit crazy,, but I include stuff like that because I know there are others who could really benefit from a little validation for things they may just be becoming aware of.
Being Australian myself I thought I'd mention the pejorative nature of the word 'wog' has all but vanished here, since some wonderful Greek and Italian actor/comedians came out with the wonderful show "Wogs Out Of Work." They claimed the word back and practically made it a term of endearment. But it's always been a bit of an Aussie thing to call someone you actually like something unflattering or a bit rude. You might call someone a really nice bastard because you actually like them. "wog" or "pom" (for English people) are often terms of endearment here.

Bipolar is a very serious condition. People who have it MUST take the medicine, even though the medicine is unpleasant. I dont like antidepressent or adhd medication etc but it is vital people with bipolar take medicine. Bipolar people not taking their medicine is very often lethal

Wog is a racial slur used to refer, in British English, to black and South Asian people, and, in Australian English, to people from the Mediterranean region.... My dad was born in Italy & moved to Australia where in his primary school years (in the 50's) was called Wog among many other racist slurs. He went back to Italy to do his high school years to later come back to Australia.... In my high school years 27-32 years ago the slur wog was thrown around A LOT as the majority of non Australians was much much higher! To the point where a riot broke out years later.... Google Cronulla Riots.... We moved away from Sydney not long before it all happened.

The way it was explained to me as a child in scientology... w.o.g. stood for "worthy oriental gentleman". And I distinctly remember that being said in their "tech dictionary."
And it was explained to me that the term used to signify the distinction between 2nd and 3rd class non-whites.
So in those times, whites were obviously the first class, talking down to the other races. And the lowest were the African tribal people. The people being sold into the slave trade. That's the 3rd class. And then you have the people in between black slaves and the "civilized" whites. Which were mostly Asians and people from the middle east. Where the mighty mighty whites from the British Empire were still dominating and colonizing their territories. But in a more direct trade deals for goods and spices and whatever resources. Essentially places where it would be more cost effective to rip off than to fully invade and enslave. "W.o.g.'s."
So they were to be treated with a "certain" (slight) aspect of respect. But not to be treated like sub-human slaves. There's a fantastic scene in Django Unchained with Jamie Fox where Don Johnson is trying to explain to one of his servants how to treat Jamie's character in the film. And he tells her she can't treat him like a slave because he isn't one. And she asks if she should treat him like white folks. And he very adamantly tells her no. But struggles to think about how to treat him. And after a while he tells her to treat Django like someone named Jimmy who is supposedly Chinese. And that's EXACTLY how those people thought when they came up with w.o.g.
I think the reason Hubbard chose it is for a similar reason. But not actually about race at all. In Hubbard's mind, Scientologists were the true masters of the world. Second to no one. And at the bottom of the his new class structure were the SPs. The evil psychiatrists and the journalists and anyone badmouthing his racket. Much like the slave class in colonial America. His thinking was much the same that these people should be considered disposable. That "good" people should be able to destroy them without any legal consequences. Just like a slave owner could do with "his property".
And then you have the people in the middle. They aren't Scientologists YET. But the aren't SPs either. So their "W-O-R-T-H-Y" of "our respect". You know... "us homonovi". Lol
It means middle people, in other words. And idk... maybe Hubbard wouldn't even call Packer a w.o.g. Maybe he'd call him "PTS type whatever". As yet another kind of distinction. My son in law served in the military here in Canada. WOG to them meant Without A Gun. It referred to military personnel who didn’t carry and use a firearm. They were looked upon with some disdain, like they weren’t as valuable or important.
I grew up in Scotland before coming to Canada and a WOG was the derogatory name for a person of colour. It was the short form of a very popular blackface doll called a “poliwog”. LRH spent much time in the UK when the slur was popular.
