Hi Fly A380 farewell fly-by over Beja Airport

A380 9H-MIP took-off from runway 01L at Beja Airport, followed by two fly-by’s over the runway, one at low speed, one at high speed. Then a rapid climb and acceleration to cruising altitude and speed, headed to the Atlantic Ocean, around 100 nautical miles west of Lisbon. Sky art in the shape of a heart was drew at 40000’, then aircraft proceeded enroute to Toulouse. A goodbye that left tears in the eyes of many and a magnificent way to register the departure of this unique aircraft that will be part of the world aviation history. The flight was under the command of Captain Carlos Mirpuri.

She deserved decades more life. I still remember watching her first flight- now we watch their final flights FAR too soon.
