Great tip Doug! Thanks for the video. I have several of those little chain rigs, but I always took them off ( didn’t understand the purpose). I’m going out on the inland lakes of northern Michigan tomorrow. I’m gonna put them to the test! Thanks again!
I am going to try a dropper this winter for tullibee/cisco. I'll try the shorter dropper rig, the first video I saw it being used had about 12" of line between the spoon and jig. This makes more sense, thanks Doug!
I've always wondered who came up with all these ideas, now I know. Thank for sharing, without your fishing knowledge none of us waste our time on the water.
If u get rid of split rings and use a slightly stiffer fluor 6 or 8 lb with a knot that won't slide around u can play a little more with bare hooks and longer dropper

That's an excellent set up. Now add an eyeball from a perch on to it. Now that's deadly
Fish eyes work?
@@coleweede1953 they sure do

Pretty smart!! I do this here in michigan on the Saginaw bay

what lb test do you usually run?
Oh y, I remember this from In fisherman magazine.

What jigging technique for this rig?
Try corn nibblets, they work!
Are you using a green screen
Definitely looks like it
Have you ever seen a lake slant so hard upward?
I though maybe at first but at 2:36 you can see the perch move which makes me think not
@@connorradford2323 thought the same. Wondered where they got live perch.
@@j.wildoutdoors8483 I just went out yesterday buddy and caught 85 perch total I only kept 10 Jumbo's , the rest were small 2-4 inches. Good day tho
