I bought the ES-334 Tobacco Sunburst from the demo shop. It arrives tomorrow! Got it for basically $1000 off the retail price after the sale.

OMG! I love that '56 reptile top but DAMN, $3,700 is a lot. I could spend two or three weeks in Europe for that. So tempting though.
@trogly: the EU Demo/Mod Shop had at least 5 new guitars on wednesday. They sold very quick, i guess you just missed them? I bought a satin grey 335 with gold hardware, on which i am still waiting to arrive.
Anyways, I was super pumped the whole week about todays episode and if you would mention this guitar on your show. 😂😂 I was this 🤏🏼 close to crying this morning when I watched the Video, lol.

European Mod Shop actually had a couple new listings. I can recall a green Les Paul Junior for example. They just sold out quite quick this time.

I have 2023 Gibson Custom Shop M2M Murphy Lab ‘63 SG Special with a ‘59 LP neck spec in Silver Fox finish personally signed by Mark Agnesi with a personal note on the control plate. Mark turned me on to the Silver Fox finish when he worked at Norm’s Rare Guitars when he handed me a ‘60 Epiphone Coronet. I fell in love with the finish at that point and had been thinking about it for 5 years before ordering mine at the Gibson Garage while visiting Nashville and stopping in to see Mark. Also got to meet JC and Al Jon the Epiphone King! 👑

The UK got a bunch of new items added but most sold in the first 30 minutes. There was one SG that I was tempted by but it sold in minutes.
Fav was Reptile Top LP R6! Though Dog Hair (Silver Fox) Senior LP was cool, and yes the cream covers works better than black IMHO.
Does anyone know anything about what kind of p90’s the reptile top les paul has? I can’t find it’s listing so I can’t view them. I like the look of them a lot.
I’m in the UK and bought the “Sugar Frosted Eggplant” ES-335 during the Mod week sale. I haven’t put it down since. Last Wednesday, several new guitars arrived, including a champagne coloured SG Standard masquerading as a Custom. I noticed it at 7am. It had, along with a Les Paul Jnr, gone before 9am. I think the UK Mod store is beginning to attract some attention now.
That green one was an absolute beauty

EU shop posted (at least) 2 or 3 new ones today, and if I compare it to this video, there's 6 new ones listed in total. So no, not discontinued.
Looks like the gold burst may have had a little damage on back near the see through control cover . It was on the edge .

The European DS isn't gonna be a big selling thing, they got too many cheaper manufacturers and no reason to pay such prices for what you get.
There are definitely people that will appreciate the mojo of a MIA instrument; but buying American made is less of a thing if you're not American yourself. UK people do like to buy UK made, but it's often at such a premium that few can afford. The housing and cost of living crises still haven't fully subsided yet.
We've got some amazing custom luthiers, but they tend to fly under the radar.
Epiphone is quite popular over here.
We do know about the demo shop, prices are just too high.

I was itching to buy that dark cherry SG '61, but didn't pull the trigger. If an LP Modern Studio appears in the Mod Shop with some kind of hunter green finish, the credit card will come out.
You should review a fender custom shop designed strat from the early 2000s!
The thing with Gibson is, here in Europe there are far less people who are interested in paying extra for american patriotism. If you take away the whole ”Made in USA” thing, Gibsons prices are ridiculous compared to the competition.

I like the lp with the single pickup but, not with the ninty. Very nice Trogly thank you. Wow alot of mini's tonight. Love the 0095. 799.00 is cheap for the Eppy, I'm glad I have the rei. of the KV that price was shocking.
Love that orange you show in the intro. That silverfox is a standout too. So is the Epi Purpleburst. I dig wild colors. You really pulled me in with these.
I think Epiphone was right to refresh the flame top moderns… those fade finishes were kinda ugly. I got a dealer exclusive Bourbon burst because I wanted the LP modern, but with the veneer and it was the only good looking one around at the time.
the demo shop i love some nice guitars at reduced prices. the mod/repaint at premium prices doesnt interest me in the least to be honest. how many people here have actually bought from the Mod/ repaint shop??
I've purchased three of them. Fit and finish on two are actually above Gibson's normal "meh" QC
The Thin Black Satin ( Dog hair / Silver Fox ) LP Jr. is way cool , it is one of my most fave finishes too , the Back Lit Canopy SG twas great , the Reptile Top LP is a very desirable finish , just love that color !, and lastly the Factory Burst LP twis/twas killer...Thanks Trogly !!

What's with the tilted bridge. Yea I know it's been going g on for years. I just don't get it.
It's for intonation.
The angle of the bridge sets the intonation. I've a Tokai R4 Goldtop with the wrap tailpiece, the intonation is almost perfect.
What I have found is that with a wrap tailpiece you need to change strings more often to maintain a good intonation.
What is that red single P90 Les Paul (?) in the intro? It is calling my name!

Regarding the European market, I'd wager the amount of people willing/capable of paying $3,000 - $5,000 for a guitar around here is waaaaaaaay smaller than in the states.

It almost looks like they really did use faded out blue jeans and glued em to the top. It’s not my style, but it does look damn good. It’d be a perfect stage guitar for Taylor Swift.

I'm continually appalled at the build quality of Gibson USA. Expect imperfections from Epiphone but it's really unjustifiable. (I'm not talking about the factory second example)
