All in all very fun to watch told a great story and thank you for your effort. Just watch your command checks when you’re pinned and just some minor rules. Looking forward to the next one keep up the good work.
Thanks for all the feedback, Steve. Definitely a little rusty. Hopefully, will get it all the next time (North Africa in a month or so). Appreciate you watching and all the support.
@@WarGamingNewbHistorical same here I need to get my phone fixed so I can get Video’s back up and hopefully join you on your quest That’s why it’s easy for me to put shorts up because I don’t have sound on my end ( recording) Time for a new phone maybe… I’m going to try to do one with voice over of a blood red skies game we played a few weeks ago that was a lot of fun.
Unfortunately, I've had to play solo a lot lately. But you're right; you definitely learn a lot. I've also found that I learn a lot more of what I missed in the editing process. Thanks for watching!
love seeing games :) Kubelwagon has no weapons unless you pay the 15 points for an mmg and if you do that it loses all transport capacity and takes up armoured car slot.
And close combat the loser isn't determined by who has less models left (unless it is 0 models left) it is by who caused the most kills in that combat alone. If it is a draw you continue with another round straight away until one side gets less kills in a round and then that unit is destroyed. With them being SS and so fanatics it means that even if they score less kills and so would normally lose and be destroyed you continue just as if it had been a draw.
Mark, I appreciate your feedback. Thanks for clearing the Kubelwagen issue up for me. Unfortunately, the Easyarmy selector I used was just for the transport. I'll swap out for a transport that can take a machine gun next time. As for close combat, that makes a lot more sense now. I figured it would just keep going, even in a small game like this.
@@WarGamingNewbHistorical All good and wasn't any detriment to me from the game, we throw so many houserules in when we play that the actual rules really are just a guide in a number of areas. That with the fanatics counting any loss in combat which would destroy the unit as a draw so keep on fighting is one of the main reasons that the extra cost per man is vaguely worth it so is a good thing to have running especially in smaller games where +3 points per man that it costs really adds up! (I know it far too well as i only have been playing multiplayer 500 points per player games)
I noticed you asked about weapons on the Kuebelwagen. If taken as a transport it has no armament If taken in the armored car slot it has an mmg and no transport capibilites.
at least htat's how Easy Army does it from armies of Germany. The data lets call it square Wepons none Options May hace a Pintel Mounted MMG with a 360-degree arc for +15 points losing all transport capacity.
Tank out so early, making it tuff for the Americans!!! Tough break .
Yeah, this was a rough game for the Airborne. The Waffen SS MMG was just murdering everyone. Thanks for watching!
Nice battle rep
Thanks for watching, Lucian!
Cracking game
Always thankful for your support, Justin!

Good morning my friend looking forward to watching this. Let me get the coffee brewing and I’ll be right back.
Thanks, Steve! Appreciate the support!
Enjoyed watching that game, you always learn more as you play solo, I've never plated it, i must try

One more… remember small team target is -2 to hit
Still having fun watching 😉👍
Yeah, I realized that I forgot this (again) while editing. The one rule I always forget. Thanks!

Fantastic! Thanks for confirming this. I thought I was going crazy.
Appreciate you chiming in!
Thanks for the play through Josh. Is this a 4 x 4 table? What’s the recommended table size, for Bolt Action, for 500 point games?
Indeed a 4x4. Standard table is 6x4 but 4x4 will do well for 500 points. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Josh!
@@GilesTimms you got it!
were did you get the battle mat, or board from?
It's from a company called Melee Mats on Amazon. It's a vinyl map.
For rally
You still have to pass an unmodified command check😉
Ignore the pins and roll on their leadership
If passed
Remove 1d6 +1 pins
Yeah, it gets tough to remember everything when playing (and filming) solo. Thanks, Steve!
@@WarGamingNewbHistorical I agree
Forgot a lot when I did the blood red skies game
Alas poor tankers, we barely knew ye.
Yeah, can you believe it? Thankfully the squads were tougher than the Hellcat. Thanks, Clyde!
At a tie in hand to hand- go again till a winner is declared
But
Remember tough fighter rules…
And another rule I forgot, tough fighter. Thanks!
20:03… Germans would have needed to pass a command check at -1 to do anything
Thanks for pointing that out!
And don’t forget
Roll of 6s to “kill” could be exceptional damage
Roll each 6 again .. if another 6 is rolled attacking player chooses casualties
Thanks, Steve!
Table looks great
Thanks, James! I’m working on getting more period specific terrain. Glad I had enough for a 4x4.
