this is not true. wish it was true. i have a cat i adopted and he has been like this since day ONE.
its empty. it feels shallow. there is nothing behind it.
he was a cuddlebug the moment i met him in the animal shelter.
its not because of any bond to you. he would do that to anyone regardless.
i think its a genetic trait to exploit humans to feed it.
they do cutesy things for food.
edit: meanwhile i have my older cat, who is ANYTHING but a cuddlebug.. but, he does stick to me, while the cuddlebug does not.
he follows me.. he stays near me and he is the one scratching the doors. he is attached.
and he has his moments of cuddling. i have raised him since he was a baby.
i feel love from him, not from the other cheap cuddlebug, who jumps into the lap of every visitor.
ngl, feels like a hoe, but i do take good care of him, because he is the companion of my first cat.

Awww, this was a great way to start my Saturday morning! Slow blinks are the best! The only thing that sucks is that whenever I try to slow blink at my cats, they're always gone when I open my eyes 😭

One of my favorite memories of my belated was the day I slow blinked at her and she slow blinked back 🥰 She purred louder because I spoke her language 💕 Everyone loved by a cat should try it!
My late cat did the sweetest thing once when I slow blinked at her. She didn't blink back, instead she perked up and got all excited, and gave a little happy chirp
