You can add chocolate powder to anything you like! I always mix chocolate with greek yogurt + a sweetener. Instant cheese cake. Chocolate and avocado + sweetner is a great creamy mouse. Chocolate and chickpeas is a very filling treat full of protein, you can have small amounts for limited carbs. Chocolate + tofu is the same thing. Chocolate whatever! Everything tastes better with chocolate.
I saw the video was about chocolate, so I sat down with my chocolate mousse only to find you were making it too! Mine is a tub of sugar free cool whip, sugar free chocolate pudding mix powder, and half a protein shake (probably optional). I just mixed it all up and put it back in the tub and stored it in the fridge. It's mousse this way, but in the freezer it would be more like ice cream I think. Interesting video today - thanks for all you do!
I really love dark chocolate so I had to find a way to have it. Just now I melted 1/8 cup butter, then added 25g (half a bar) of Lindt 100%chocolate, broken up to melt more easily, stir until smooth (let it sit for a minute or two or swirl the pot gently to help it melt). Added allulose to taste, I think I added about a quarter cup. Voila. It's got a great dense chocolate flavour. * I gather powdered allulose exists, that would be even better, because this is a little grainy when it cools, though the graininess smooths out as you eat it (I'm just eating it half-hard with a spoon right now).. * You could substitute coconut cream or oil (hard), or cocoa butter, for the butter. Or heavy cream - my guess is 1/8c heavy cream but 50g chocolate for the same effect. * Would be amazing over some type of ice cream. It also hardens when it cools, so it would make great bark with toasted coconut or almonds, or hard frosting for a keto cookie (I've never had one). *I had never heard of allulose until last week when I saw it on your channel, found you after not doing keto since before chaffles were a thing - previous attempts to make good chocolate things never worked because none of the sweeteners were that great, except maybe splenda. Anyway, this chocolate syrup/frosting/whatever is pretty darn good.
Easiest chocolate mousse ever: 1 cup heavy whipping cream. Beat until soft peaks with hand mixer. Add 3 tbsp cocoa powder (sifted); 2 tbsp allulose (fine or confectioners); 2 tsp vanilla; squirt of liquid sweetener; pinch of salt. Stir to mix in cocoa powder. Then beat with hand mixer until stiff peaks. Refrigerate. This tastes like the real deal with no weird stuff in it. Granted it isn’t 1 or two ingredients, but who cares if easy and tastes amazing
@@missyasche881 I would imagine two shortish mixing or beatings. So no you don't have to over mix your cream. Also mixing in some cream cheese is also works, premix the cream cheese a little first.
I have a mousse recipe for you that is super simple. I have some in my fridge now. Dump a quart of heavy cream in the stand mixer and start on low. Dump in 5 or 6 tablespoons of allulose, 5 or 6 tablespoons of cocoa powder (Dutch process will give you dark chocolate mousse). Crank the speed up till its moussified. You can add Lily's dark chocolate chips if like me you love dark chocolate. Keeps well in the fridge.
Love how you took one for the team with the beef broth!! I've been known to mix up some strange concoctions but I don't think I'd ever go that far!! Thanks for doing it for us!! 🤗
How to Cook That channel on YT gave a revised recipe for the 2-ingredient mousse. It does have just 2 ingredients, but the ratio and directions are different. She is a food scientist and incredibly helpful. 🥰
Making this “two ingredient”, is fine for me… I think I’m going to try warming, either some half-and-half, or heavy cream, instead of using water, and doing the whole process and see how this turns out!! 🤩
I have been using YES Cacao's "Wild Cacao 100% Liqueur" (Unsweetened Chunks). It's not like that waxy baking chocolate. Anyway, 1 serving is approximately 25 to 30 grams of cacao chunks to 3/4 cup of boiling water, add 1/4 cup of heavy cream that has been heated in a microwave for 30 to 45 seconds, and allulose to taste. I use my hand frother to mix it up. BTW, This isn't milk chocolate, so the flavor is a bit stronger. The heavy cream definitely helps round out the flavor. You could experiment and add vanilla extract and cinnamon.
Thanks for the video!! I know it's not easy to film and produce these. I am sure it takes a lot of time but I think I am going to past on these two recipes. 😂 I do really love watching you 2. I have tried and really liked quite a few of your recipes. ❤ you both.
I make mine, two spoon full of cream cheese and sour cream mix with sugar free chocolate pudding half package and vanilla extract. Top it of whipping cream.
You two are so brave trying that bone broth hot chocolate! I'm a nope on that one 😅! Glad you tried it so I don't have to! On the other hand, there are so many dishes on your channel that I have to make! Just got some ramekins to make that soup with!
Hot chocolate I make a powdered recipe.. 1/4c cocoa, 1/2c ketomate sweet and creamy. I just put in a couple spoonfuls in my cup and sweeten with the sweetener I like!!
Hello Emily and Sarah, I've watched most of your videos, they've been very helpful to me. I lost 195 lbs eating carnivore, keto and ketovore. You've suggested many times for your viewers to start their own UA-cam channel. I already have 2 channels and now want to branch out to cover the carnivore, keto and ketovore lifestyles as they have impacted me. I would like to ask permission to make reference to you and your channel(s) in my videos. Don't worry, I would absolutely say nice constructive things. BTW, I don't live very far from you, we're almost neighbors. All the best to you and yours. Bobby Howe - PS If you look at some of my older videos and compare them to some of the latest, you can see what a big boy I was compared to now! BH
Right away after the beef chocolate Your faces said "Hell No"! SOOO funny! That's worth the cost of admission!! Which I think is at least a thumbs up!! 😂🤣
Bone broth is tasty on its own as a savory drink, so I don’t know why I’d ever mix it with chocolate lol. I like mole sauce, but it’s not supposed to be sweet, so I think I’ll pass on this. I make chocolate mousse with Lily’s chips, whipping cream and mascarpone cheese, a pinch of salt, and a dash of vanilla or almond extract, and it is epic! Sure it’s more ingredients, but it is super easy to make and totally worth it.
You two are so hilarious. Love watching what you come up with and appreciate your honest assessments. Keep up the good work. I do get some ideas from you guys, so love your experiments.
You two are the funniest “two weirdos in the kitchen” and I appreciate you both! Thanks for trying these out. I think I’ll pass, lol. One thing I would say is that Thrive Market’s Bone Broth looks really good. Definitely worth considering. As for chocolate, I buy the Lily’s dark chocolate bar and break off a piece at a time and really enjoy it. Thanks for another great video girls! Have a wonderful weekend!💗
OMG your doggies in their turtlenecks are so adorable! Too bad the 2nd experiment had chocolate in it because they were licking their lips for some broth.
From one weirdo to you two...love your successes and failures in the kitchen. I think we all can relate to what you Love the pups. Keep on doing what you do.
i appreciate you ladies testing these recipes out for us. bone broth doesn't even sound good to me ESPECIALLY in hot chocolate. i think i would just make hot chocolate and put some stevia or swerve in it. lol
Your doggies were hilarious. Watching them lick their lips. Too bad doggies can’t have chocolate, they would’ve drank it. Great try on your recipes. Have a great weekend.
I would have used keto friendly milk/cream, skip either broth, they do have spices in them too . I did expect the flavour would come thru. When in doubt, throw it out. 😂
I was like, um…with the beef broth. Then I remembered the large amount of chocolate I throw in my chilli, so 🤷🏼♀️ ps he is adorable and a good person 🥰
1 ingredient hot chocolate: 8 oz hot water and 1/2 packet of LMNT chocolate electrolyte 😂 yum! Add a little coconut creamer to make creamy with 1 more ingredient. ❤

Yes, that’s what I do
Sometimes I add mascarpone, it’s super rich
You have to beat it to stiff peaks twice? After getting stiff peaks the first time, wouldn't it overmix by beating it too much?
@@missyasche881 I would imagine two shortish mixing or beatings. So no you don't have to over mix your cream. Also mixing in some cream cheese is also works, premix the cream cheese a little first.
@@missyasche881 you beat it to soft peaks first (thickened) then add other ingredients then beat to stiff peaks
I just throw those ingredients in my Nutri-bullet and then I can put it in the freezer or fridge. No mixer or bowls to clean!
The reason I watch your channel is because you try new things. It is everyone's prerogative whether they want to make it or not.

You two made my day! I laughed so hard for the first time in days! Love your channel and you always brighten my day!
awwwww that’s so sweet Leslie, that means a lot to us and it’s why we make videos. Thank you for brightening our day with your comment ❤️
Love how you took one for the team with the beef broth!!
I've been known to mix up some strange concoctions but I don't think I'd ever go that far!! Thanks for doing it for us!! 🤗

In fairness, the mousse instructions said refrigerate. So the iciness came from the freezer. I love you guys! Feel like we're best friends by now.
🤗🤗 we did refrigerate a large glass bowl of the stuff but it didn’t set up in the fridge overnight, it didn’t make it in the edit of the video lol

Sure! Thanks for thinking of us! 🤗
I'm not positive but I think the bone broth is for the collagen. You might try a flavorless collagen powder instead of the bone broth.
I drink home made bone broth quite often, usually chicken. Sometimes I add coconut milk and red Curry paste, sometimes some Ramen spice packet etc.
I love watching y’all…and those cute pups🥰

Hey, when you mentioned moscarpone cheese, you reminded me about tiramisu! I bet we could make that!
@@ellet4103 I make keto tiramisu frequently. It’s delicious!
Sounds great! Is there a recipe posted somewhere?@@catrionaanne4262
I like your weird antics and your willingness to try things for us
I want to try the mousse with coconut milk and the Lily's chips.
You two are so hilarious. Love watching what you come up with and appreciate your honest assessments. Keep up the good work. I do get some ideas from you guys, so love your experiments.
Thanks so much!
Love you guys and Uber love your two beautiful assistants!!! 🐾🐾🐾🐾♥️

Maybe chicken bone broth would have a milder flavor? Thank you for testing two recipes I would be curious about but not enough to try!
Make a 1/2 batch and it should froth and blend EASIER!😊
It’s like when Rachel made trifle but used beef 😆
Excellent channel name, "Two Weirdoes in a Kitchen". lol Also the metal trembling puppy in the sweater is a magical look.
Lol
OMG your doggies in their turtlenecks are so adorable! Too bad the 2nd experiment had chocolate in it because they were licking their lips for some broth.
I wonder if almond milk could be used in both of these instead of water and broth and be much better.
From one weirdo to you two...love your successes and failures in the kitchen. I think we all can relate to what you Love the pups. Keep on doing what you do.

beef soup 😂 .... you ladies are hilarious! 😂
The dogs……. Priceless!
I love Henry cause he's so stinkin' CUTE!!!!
🐶🐶❤️❤️❤️
I make my chocolate mousse with heavy, whipping cream and sugar-free chocolate pudding
They both need a swig of HWC, IMO. I’ll try them but I’ll keep the cream handy.
Try the banana bark with the keto choc. chips. It's really good!
"Beef Chocolate" Lol..from Naperville
Your doggies were hilarious. Watching them lick their lips. Too bad doggies can’t have chocolate, they would’ve drank it. Great try on your recipes. Have a great weekend.
I love your weird antics!
One Pot Chef's chocolate cake. It's eggs and chocolate chips. That's it. Super easy and amazing.
OMG your dogs! Punk rockers! they are awesome!
🐶🐶❤️
I made bone broth hot chocolate. It's good. Add sugar free maple syrup and cinammon
I love your dogs! What kind are they?
Awe, love the dogs ! You should have them on the videos more often 😀
Lol. Love the doggies ❤❤
Great video but your dogs! So cute. Poor things were shivering even with their attractive sweaters.
they tend to shiver more when we have food around lol!
“Hint of beef” lol😂❤
😂 Thanks for the warning ⚠️
What about veggies broth?
I’m always amazed your dogs don’t even seem one iota attracted to food.
I am highly allergic to coconut. So, not cocnut milk. So can I use almond milk? I have no coconut flour. I use almond and lupin flours instead.
Sure
Maybe vegetable broth instead?
I wonder if the chocolate mousse would be better frozen in an ice pop mold?
Shakey dressed puppies!!!! Now will join thrive market lol
I wonder if you just used filtered water if it would be better??
aaaaahh two thumbs up for the adorable doggies👍🏻👍🏻
🐶🐶
Try Ancient Nutrition Chocolate Bone Broth. The only chocolate I like is Lily's 85% Dark Chocolate but this product tastes chocolate!
Anything chocolate bc I crave it & don't want easy access so something quick & easy. Tks😅
Either beef broth or hot chocolate, but not together. I dislike coconut milk; I would rather have hwc. You two are brave to try it.
Would vegetable broth work? Anyway, it was fun to watch!
Love you guys you never fail to make me laugh😂
How about some almond milk, little heavy cream, some Dutch process cocoa and a tablespoon of powdered monk fruit. Heat it drink it. Yum!
Very interesting,thanks.
So funny, especially the undertones of beef broth
What about cacao powder?
I doubt it would cover up the beef flavor lol
I would have used keto friendly milk/cream, skip either broth, they do have spices in them too . I did expect the flavour would come thru. When in doubt, throw it out. 😂
Thanks for trying these things so we don't have to. I don't think either of these recipes looked tempting. Entertaining, but not tempting! ❤️🥰❤️
have you tried the ninja creami yet? yummy chocolate desserts out of that. just a thought.....
We don’t have one, maybe soon! We have the dash ice cream maker and it’s cool
I was like, um…with the beef broth. Then I remembered the large amount of chocolate I throw in my chilli, so 🤷🏼♀️ ps he is adorable and a good person 🥰
Try using unflavored gelatin instead of bone broth.
Well those too, you could guess it would be no good just by reading the ingredients :-)
You are brave to try those
I don’t think the beef broth chocolate would be my thing either. ❤❤❤
Got to try new things
Gross recipes but you two are awesome and hilarious 😅
Your dogs are so darn cute. 💙💙
You could do 1/4 water and 3/4 heavy cream and then the chocolate perhaps that would be a lot better😁😁
1 ingredient hot chocolate: 8 oz hot water and 1/2 packet of LMNT chocolate electrolyte 😂 yum! Add a little coconut creamer to make creamy with 1 more ingredient. ❤
The doggies! ❤
The dogs!!! ❤😂❤😂❤
Too funny ! When are you guys going to do standup ?
Real soil to???
Beef Chocolate. 😂 Upu two are a hoot!!
Love those puppies.
I like your weird antics ❤❤
🤗🤗🤗
Bravery with a blender and a ladle exemplified!
I revel in each and every one of your weird antics, chickies. Plus, nothing ventured, nothing gained! Right?
