This mod is based on Carnivores 1. Carnivores 1 didn't have a Spinosaurus, therefore Carnivores Legacy doesn't either! I've seen a handful of comments asking where these dinosaurs are, just bear that in mind before commenting!
Guys don't forget the gallimimus and the dimetrodon, the gallimimus will kick you in the groin and stomp on your head until it gets crushed while the dimetrodon will eat your leg and then will eat your head.
The laelaps alternative kill is kind of humiliating You manage to dodge the attack, seemingly giving you a chance to escape only to immediately get killed
This is of stunning quality. It's like Ice Age quality animation but with the dinosaurs we all know and love. The Carnivores sequel I kinda always wanted.
Out of all of them, I think the one where he got killed by a poacher trap was the most disturbing. These animations have really brought Carnivores to life!
Truly the best modification for this game and a great way to celebrate this franchise's long running history. I look forward to playing the new map and hunting down whatever exclusive animals/dinosaurs roam there.
Man, the MEE never fails to amaze me how complex and amazing it is. So much creative freedom to make our mods more unique and replayable. I’m excited to see more content on Legacy. This is gonna be my next inspiration for my pending mod, The Lost South.
Okay out of all of them I found the Sea Scorpion kind of scary. Like just imagining yourself in a large body of water, you take a peak under the surface and you see all of *those* coming after you.
7:28 Ouch, that's gotta hurt. Imagine just minding your own business, only to then step on a giant bear, or in this case Dinosaur Trap. This mod is pretty cool, I love how all the original hunting roster animals are dangerous other than the carnivorous animals and Triceratops. Stegosaurus has my favorite kill animation of the herbivores here, although Pinacosaurus might rival it. I absolutely appreciate the addition of Squalicorax. Sharks are something I'd love to see in Carnivores, and until Carnivores Cordelia adds some to take back to the trophy room, seeing sharks here is really nice. Deinosuchus also has a very cool kill animation. I think it's the only creature in the game that swallows hunters whole. If you have a phobia of arthropods, then those sea scorpions would probably be a nightmare in those waters. Even though I don't have a phobia of insects or arthropods, seeing all those sea scorpions rushing over to the hunter looked pretty scary. Especially when you put yourself in their shoes.
Yeah, the dinosaur trap is one of my favourites, along with the insect swarm. I'd have to agree with you as well with the stego, my favourite herbivore animation.
There is also the death animation for Moshops, where it jumps on you and crushes with its weight. It was a surprise to me cuz it is usually all passive
The moment i saw the scolosaurus at 4:57 I gave a standing ovation, everything may have lead up to it, but the scolosaurus sealed the deal of “Best Carnivores representative mod ever” for me! I mean look at how its tail has 2 spikes!! Its its iconic retrosaur look that makes it look so unique!!

I actually love this mod! But I felt like it was missing a final weapon, so I added your AK-47 to the mod. You make the best weapons for Carnivores without a doubt. It may throw off the balance, but it definitely feels like a well-deserved final weapon in my opinion. Because of that, I have a humble request: can you make a menu image for the AK-47? I'd really appreciate that since using the C2 menu image feels off lol. Keep up the good work Murt!
Those sea scorpions are going to haunt my nightmares,i dont have arachnophobia but i have to say it. That design coupled with the brutality of them,as well to see that they swarm you.......yeah,no thanks. I love the design of some creatures and how basically all of them thats larger then a gallimimus can kill you,which is something i felt was a problem on Carnivores,especially on the stegosaurus which here got an amazing kill animation. Also that pinacosaurus has got to be my favorite herbivore,followed closely by protoceratops and trachodon

I remember playing this when I was like 5, this game terrified me lol. Was the first scary game I probably ever played. The roster for the first Carnivores game was actually only: Parasaurolophus, Pachycephaelosaurus, Stegosaurus, Allosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptor, and T-Rex. Also, you could only kill them by shooting them in the weakspots, which would one shot them, but added a lot of challenge. Only a shot to the eye could kill the T-rex. Imagine being 5 and missing that shot only to watch the T-Rex come barreling towards ya. Nightmare fuel lol. Also, only the Carnivores and the Triceratops could kill you back then. Also, only 3 weapons: Shotgun, X-bow, Sniper. There was also a little bit of progression because you unlocked some dinosaurs, maps and I believr the sniper was the only weapon to unlock. The ability to use camouflage, cover scent and animal radar was also in the original game. There was a trophy room that seemed to be in some weird place in the middle of nowhere with a creepy wind sound effect. You could climb on top of a trophy to glitch out on top of the wall area to see a seemingly endless space around you. Game definitely gave me the chills. Cool game though. Liked that 1 map where you could climb up a spiral ramp on a mountain so if a hostile dinosaur came at you it would get stuck and you would be safe, most of the time.

I don't think anything else can possibly surpass this in terms of quality.
Legacy is what a culmination of some of the best carnivores modders over the years working together will do, and its amazing.
Personally I have still yet to play Poharex classics like Mandibles and plus (currently playing Triassic), but after that I'm gonna play Legacy
