Just when I'm about to just let a Mazda dealership mechanic to figure it out. And then I found this post I said there's no way, couldn't be that simple...... got a part for $11.99 and voila! This post is awesome! Thank You!!!
Just had the brake booster and brake switch replaced a week and a half ago and today all 3 of those lights came on. The SCBS light went away but the other 2 are still there
@@shel7135 I don’t have any issues with starting. However, before I had those 2 parts replaced the Infiniti on light would instantly turn green from amber as soon as I put my foot on the pedal but ever since then I have to push the pedal a little farther to get it to turn green. I’ve noticed the same for when the brake lights turn on. Have to push a bit farther
Hey man, great suggestion, I'm getting those light on 130km/h in my Mazda 3 2015. Also strangely it happens only when it's cold. I'll take it to the 🧰 to check this part and do you have any other suggestion to check? My fuel consumption is also not calculating very well, always saying that I have 80km left and then I have like 13l still in the tank when I fill it up. I thought it's a tire pressure monitoring error.
Same here. Mazda CX-5 2014 2.2 SkyActive. Errors SCBS Inspection Required and TPMS Inspection Required light up and limp my car. Have to stop and turn off the car to erase them and drive away. It is all good as long as I drive below 125km/h. Did you somehow solve this issue?
@@MersadMuhovic I did fix it! It needed a deep clean of the intake system and your mechanic needs to check the camshaft also if it's broken. The system gets clogged and needs cleaning. I also had the "overboost" code on it. My car is perfect since then! Good luck
I had no problems I can recall before the three lights came on. I figured it out because it would not start sometimes. The starter light would remain amber with my foot on the brake. Then I checked to see if my brakes lights where working consistently. They would come on and off with my foot on the brake. Problem solved 😎
have mazda 6 Skyactiv 2014 diesel automatic 2.2 engine. Last two days when I am travelling, the light of SCBS inspection required comes on the dashboard so I stopped and I turned the engine off then turned it on and the light went off but the same day it happened again. Specially, SCBS inspection required comes on when I am driving down the hill but my speed is not to fast. I am so worried about this, even the windshield is clean and clear. Could you give me some advice on what I should do please?
First disable scbs in the vehicle settings found on you infotainment center. Then see if the light comes on again. Second check your brake pads make sure they are not getting to low. Some newer mazdas will throw a light if brakes are getting bad. I turned mine off (it does work) it's just unnecessary and doesn't work that well.
hi man, could you please help me. I have Mazda 6 2015 2.2diesel, 250 000km on clock. In the begining i receive scbs, tpms and check engine errors all together ( while i was on highway on high speed while i was in speed decrease or breaking). Now i get this errors together every next day even in city driving, but only when my speed is decreasing or right after the breaking. Car goes into safe mode and when i restart the car errors are gone.
Check you brake lights first. If you have the brake pedal depressed and the lights go off and on its your brake switch. The brake switches are faulty and stop working it will throw those error lights. Another option is to turn off scbs in your infotainment center and see if that clears it. Look under settings and you'll find an option to turn it off. Hope that helps
Thanks for the vid! I have all three of these light go off probably once a day, for some reason when I’m on a hill? My check engine light has also started to come on as well. Any advise?
Check your brake pads and the brake switch. Bad Pads will cause those lights as well. In Your infotainment center go to apps and warnings it will show you what codes are on. Goodluck
Hi there ! I have a 2017 Mazda 3 and having the same issues too, TPMS was blinking and after that it latched on together with SCBS & DSC. It goes off when I restart the engine and comes on intermittently, I noticed earlier when I apply my brakes the 3 came on again. Would this method like yours solve ? How did you know this could solve your issue ?
After reading up on the lights I replaced my brake pads and eliminated them first brakes pads were good. Next the car had issues starting several days later, and it acted as if the brake was not depressed and it was down. Then I checked my tail lights and they would go on and off with the pedal down. That's how I figured out it was the brake switch. So check your brake pads first ( it will throw the light for low or bad brake pads as well). If you have any of my car's symptoms it may also be brake switch going bad. Have someone look at your brake lights with the pedal held down to see if the light blinks out. Good luck
@@shel7135 anyway, could it be battery ? i just remembered i left the "interior lights" on throughout the night. only realised this morning when i drove out. those lights are those LED strips that can be bought from amazon. previous had them installed. sometimes i turn it on during my night drive and i realised i forgot to turn it off yesterday night
Hello, im currently on vacation and this error started to pop out a moment before i came to hotel. Will it be safe to drive back to my home town without fixing this since i am unable to fix this right now. Back to my home is about 500km
Yes, just make sure your brake lights function. Mine went in and out. That is the only safety concern with these particular lights. But it should drive and stop like normal.

Man, thank you so much, I had the same problems (dsc, tpms) and have changed this sensor and now all good, engine is started Mazda 3 BM. Great job 👏
My car literally just had this problem this morning I really hope it will work
You glorious glorious man. It was driving me nuts, no ECU faults and the car was literally just serviced with zero issues.
Thanks man
Thanks a lot. This video made my day!
Cool! My mazda has all these lights on intermittently
Same here, intermittently. Did you get it sorted? Was it the brake switch?
Do you have a video to install it? Thanks man!
I have the TPMS and TSC lights one…. Changed tge brake switch and light is still on. Tire pressures are fine and so is the brake fluid level.
Might have to have the codes cleared
Thanks dude. People like you are dope.
Glad I could help
Yeah, had the same issue and root cause on my CX-3. Shame on Mazda for handling sensor malfunction this way!

I understand you’re saying the brake pads will cause this as well? I changed the rear pads but I haven’t changed the front ones yet.
Check brake pad wear it can cause the same issue, Also do you have any issues when starting?

Hello
you claim brake pad wear can cause these sensors to fire

@@shel7135 thanks mate, nothing comes up about the pads. Only the three maintenance signals that are on your video + the occasional check engine light

Sometimes a light bulb comes on for me
SCBS
After restart engine this is delated.
Terribly strange
Clean your wind shield it helped me as well. It uses the camera near the rear view. If the windshield is dirty it could throw the light.
@@shel7135 how can i fix it 2018 mazda 3
where is located that switch that you replaced ?
Follow the brake pedal up, and push the pedal in and you'll see it. It is below the steering column, they are blue so it's easier to find.
