the top round roast beef and provolone. They used to roast it themselves, may still I don't know. But their meat for the cheese steak sandwiches is hot garbage. It is tough as hell, I have had some with sinew, and some with small pieces of bone. The turkey tastes like plastic lunchmeat you would get from Hillshire Farms in the grocery

Of course I had to get a cheesesteak and an Italian, and I thought both were top notch, primarily because of the rolls, which are as close as I've had to the rolls of my youth since I left Jersey. Yes, their Italian meats are awesome, and the cheesesteaks are the real thing. One of these days I have to ask to customize my cheesesteak with tomato and lettuce, which makes it a cheesesteak hoagie. Also on my favorites list nearby me is DiBella's. They do a really good cheesesteak and a buffalo chicken, and they have a meatball sub that is freakin awesome. Mike's used to have a really good meatball sub but discontinued it :(

I used to go to the Jersey Mikes in Freehold and Point Pleasant, NJ before they became a national chain. These new stores do not even begin to compare to the original.
First time I ever went to jersey mikes and got their club supreme, the person making it asked “do you want it Mikes way?” I saw the sign saying “try it Mikes way!” On the glass window and said sure! He then grabbed the oil n vinegar and Drenched the lettuce, onions n tomato on my sandwich, my Gut reaction was “Oh dear lord he just ruined my entire sandwich, oh hell..” well to my delight it didn’t make the bread soggy but soaked into the toppings and made the entire sandwich amazing. Always get it mikes way, I sometimes add jalapeños.
#13 original Italian Mike's way with pickles. I get the juice on the side because we usually buy it a couple hours before eating it. Only put on when ready to eat. No soggy roll. I agree with big Kahuna. It's really good. When I want a hot sandwich, I order it. I do substitute banana peppers for the jalapeños.
You left out their AMAZING Large Chocolate Chip Cookies! 😞 Pro tip: Take the cookie home and pop it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 10 mins and serve with a glass of milk. 🤤🍪🥛

The window was plastered with big signs saying "Cash Only," "No Public Restroom," "No Bus Change," "No Loitering" and "Not a Walkthrough." I couldn't decide whether this franchise owner didn't know how to run a business, or wanted to make the customers think they were in New Jersey.

Mashed videos are usually ok, but when it comes to Jersey Mike's Subs they got this one wrong ! I have been going to Jersey Mike's for years and they make the absolute best subs on this planet. I have had most every sub on the menu and my favorite is the original Italian #13, The Big Kahuna cheesesteak is also awesome as is the BLT. As far as portions on the subs they are huge and if you want extra of anything they are happy to add it. So you really can have it your way !! As far as quality the meats, cheese and veggies are fresh and the bread is fresh and oven baked. Try a Jersey Mike's sub and you will never walk into a subway store again and will never look at a sub sandwich the same way. They are the absolute best no matter which one you have !
I totally agree. I lost a lot of respect for this channel after this obvious hit piece on Jersey Mike's. They are amazing! Even their compliments were back handed.
I realize that I am 2 years late for making a comment that would be seen by most viewers, but just the same, I really need to share my less-than-stellar experience with the local Jersey Mike's store, in Watauga, Texas (the TX 377 store), that is just outside of Fort Worth, Texas. I invite all patrons to read this. It most likely happened to or happens to you, unknowingly! Before, I get into the details of my comment, I need to say that my wife and I absolutely enjoyed going to Jersey Mike's for our weekly Sunday sandwich, until this happened... It was a little over two years ago when my wife and I ordered our last Jersey Mike's sandwiched after we experienced that store cheating its customers. To the point, my wife and I both ordered large sandwiches of different types. Side-by-side, one of the sandwiches had a difference of 2 1/2 inches. How could a large sub be so different in size? When I confronted the store and then the store owner and then the corporate office, all I got was silence. Jersey Mike's didn't care of their customers experience! So, we NEVER go to Jersey Mike's anymore, and we're the better for it! By the way, is this how businesses in "Jersey" or the east coast treat their patrons? Now, here's the details...This particular Sunday afternoon, we as we often did paid a visit to our local Jersey Mike's store. I ordered a large Philly Cheesesteak style sandwich, as I often did and my wife typically orders a medium-sized turkey sandwich. However, this Sunday afternoon, my wife ordered a large Turkey sandwich, and I, a large Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. After returning home with our sandwiches, I immediately realized that my wife's "large" sandwich was much larger than my "large" Philly Cheesesteak. In fact, after physically measuring each "large" sandwich, my "large" sandwich was 2 1/2 inches smaller than my wife's large sandwich. What seems to be happening is Jersey Mike's, at least at this particular store is they precut "some" of their rolls and when doing so, do not insure that each sandwich is halved correctly. I can only assume that this happened to me. The Jersey Mike's employee did not take the time to give me an uncut large roll, but instead, the employee built my large sandwich from already halved rolls. What also caught my attention to this is I always order my sandwich uncut. This sandwich was halved (against my order). Doesn't Jersey Mike's have a quality control!? Apparently not! I live several miles from that or any other Jersey Mike's store, so a return trip was not my immediate option. So, I decided to give that store a call to see what could be done. I explained what I found and asked for the store manager. I was informed that there was no store manager at the store. I informed the store employee that I expected this to be corrected. When I insisted that I return so they could make me a large Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, from a uncut large roll, they told me that since there wasn't a manager at the store, I'd have to speak to the store owner. The store owner, the person who I assumed owned the franchise, lived in Dallas. Dallas is nowhere close to the Watauga, Texas store and he wasn't willing to meet me at the store. Now, here's the first of two events that made me decide to never go back to Jersey Mike's ever again...that franchise owner actually laughed (yes, he laughed at me) at my complaint, suggesting that I only wanted a free sandwich. How arrogant! I calmly stated that I would be very happy to send photos of what I found, but that owner countered me by stating that my photos would not prove a thing. He not only refused to provide me with his email address, but he also hung up on me. After being hung up on by the store owner, I immediately got online and found the Jersey Mike's corporate webpage, found their customer service page and typed in my experience in their customer service message/comment board. As I said, that was over two years ago. The Jersey Mike's corporate office NEVER reached back out to us. Long-story-short, they too do not care about their customers! My message to Jersey Mike's is shame on you! The way that we've been treated is no way to do business! For Jersey Mike's to not care for their customers and not even showing an interest in listening to their experiences, outright shows their true colors! The take away here is I really don't care if Jersey Mike's still are making a buck off of other unsuspecting customers! Buddy, listen to me now, you will NEVER take any more of my hard owned cash. I would never do business with Jersey Mike's ever again! Does this particular (as well as other) Jersey Mike's stores cheat their customers? Maybe! Maybe it was a mistake or maybe it was not intentional! What I do know is not once would Jersey Mike's offer to make right to their wrong. I now happily take my business elsewhere! Besides, I know how to make a pretty darn good Italian submarine and Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I do so whenever I wish, and for much less that Jersey Mike's prices offer! I even bake my own rolls! So, we don't need the likes of Jersey Mike's!!! Maybe if this comment could be forwarded to the Jersey Mike's corporate office, someone who realizes that their actions actually means something would do something about this. And I'm not wanting that company to right the wrong that they did to me, I already made my mind up that I will never do business with Jersey Mike's again! Nick D.
Subway Italian Herb and cheese is the best bread at subway, but doesn't come close to the rosemary parmesan that JM has. If you pick off the cheese and eat it by itself, you can tell it's high quality cheese cause it's got a phenomenal flavor.
They used to pack the sub with meat, last March I'm eating and it's like nothing was there I opened it and there were 5 pieces for the entire sandwich laid end to end. It's like a Subway sandwich which meat is so thin you can see through it. Haven't been back since.
Cancro has pepperoni, not salami. Add pepperoni to any of their subs and like bacon makes it better. Also, most of their subs come with provolone, not american. Only the hot subs come with american, but you can substitute.
I have huge respect for Jersey Mikes.......they support the Wreaths Across America program for sponsoring a wreath during Christmas for veterans at our National cemetery in Nebraska, and all other places
Its a tie between #43 Chipotle Cheesesteak the way it comes and #13 Italian Mikes way add mayo and red pepper relish. Depends if you want cold or hot and its by far the greatest chain sub around. Subway is nasty.
Cold: #13 mikes way with pepper relish Hot: #99 (#56 with chipotle mayo) Best subs on the menu. Also try them on the rosemary parmesan bread! It's fantastic
Ummm I hate to tell you but the Portobello Cheese Steak does not start out with steak. Actually it has no meat on it at all. It's just what it's says it is. A Portobello Mushroom Cheese Steak. Smh 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Did she say there aren’t any eggs in the tuna salad? WTH would you put eggs in tuna salad! I’ve never heard of that! Mayonnaise has eggs in it but it sounded like she meant additional eggs!
You can always ask for veggies or more veggies and spices on your sandwich. They aren't stingy. I love their hot sandwiches and I wish one was closer to where I live.
Love the Big Kahuna and the club supreme. On the club supreme, I get it Mike's Way with extra oil and vinegar, as well as, add pickles and banana peppers. Yum
The roast beef is great because it isn't easy to roast beef at home. Jersey Mike's roast beef is one of the few places that make great roast beef. Who cares if it's simple. Some us just want a simple, good roast beef sandwich. The BLT is not so easy to make at home either. Cooking bacon is messy and who has their great rolls to put it on, not to mention perfectly shredded lettuce which makes all the difference. Those two are my absolute favorites from Jersey Mike's. Opinion. All a matter of opinion and that's mine. Thanks for describing all the choices. We may not agree but you do a great job describing the sandwiches!
I have to agree about the tuna sandwich. They ran out of it and had to make a new batch so I got the freshest tuna sandwich. But it still sucked. My favorite is still the Chipotle Chez steak but I add bacon.
That sandwich (club supreme) without may and provolone and extra oil & vinegar (i get extra pickles) is my FAVORITE COLD sandwich! My favorite hot sandwich is the BIG KOHONA.... And i always get the ROSEMARY (SP?) bread!

I used to go to the location near me once or twice a week - always bringing home two big sandwiches At the 12"56 mark of this video they show a huge thickly filled sandwich being cut in half. I have never received a sandwich close to that size at Jersey Mike's. The only way I could make it that thick and as long is to bring my own loaf of bread, and used napkins as filler for meat and ingredients.

The chicken bacon ranch sandwich I had was amazing! Way better than subway 😋
Same here. Not at all as it was described.
Same here. I get mine with extra mushrooms. Really fantastic!!
i totally agree, the chicken bacon ranch is so good
Try the # 13 Italian IT ROCKS
@@richardsmith4187 okay 😊

I feel like the Original Italian should've been #1 cuz it's extra flavor of meat makes it THE BEST sandwich ever made, in my book.
Right you are, the #13 Italian is the very best sub ever !!! I've had hundreds over the past 15 years and still love them. Good choice !!
They used to have a really good Reuben sandwich, so now my go to is the big Kahana Cheesesteak, add Chipotle mayo
One thing not mentioned that I like about J. Mike's... their buns beat out Subway, Hands Down. I've always liked the crusty crust.
Subway Italian Herb and cheese is the best bread at subway, but doesn't come close to the rosemary parmesan that JM has. If you pick off the cheese and eat it by itself, you can tell it's high quality cheese cause it's got a phenomenal flavor.
Everything about Jersey Mike's beats Subway. It hurt just to put the two in the same sentence.
Subway bread is too tough!
When it comes to subs, Jersey Mike's is the winner. My favorite is the Original Iatalian, no 13, Mike's way with mayo
That’s exactly the way I get it
Same way I used to get it, then started adding bacon and pickles..... wow! Best samitch in the world
I have huge respect for Jersey Mikes.......they support the Wreaths Across America program for sponsoring a wreath during Christmas for veterans at our National cemetery in Nebraska, and all other places
Add the cherry pepper relish to the Club Supreme. Trust me it's amazing.
Yup that’s my favorite at Jersey Mikes! Potbelly’s has great sandwiches too.. try their ITALIAN with extra peppers (the peppers 🌶 are sweet)
Its a tie between #43 Chipotle Cheesesteak the way it comes and #13 Italian Mikes way add mayo and red pepper relish. Depends if you want cold or hot and its by far the greatest chain sub around. Subway is nasty.
You hit the 2 best subs !! I love the # 13 Original Italian and the Big Kahuna and your right Subway ain't even on the same planet.
The Big Kahuna steak (w/ Chipotle Mayo) and/or the Original Italian are all you need lol
Chipotle cheesesteak w/ sweet peppers and bacon 🤤
That sounds delicious.
Cold: #13 mikes way with pepper relish
Hot: #99 (#56 with chipotle mayo)
Best subs on the menu. Also try them on the rosemary parmesan bread! It's fantastic
Lol tuna sub at jersey mike’s is my favourite 🥖
I LOVE ALL THERE SUBS
They used to be my favorite place to get a meatball sub but they got rid of it! I hate subways.
I digress subway meatball is delicious imo
Jersey Mike’s tuna sub (with extra tuna) is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, What’s wrong with you people?
I said the same thing, " The Mashed People" must have mush for brains, Jersey Mike's ROCKS over any other subs !!
#7 Whole Wheat Mike’s way.
Surprised the roast beef was ranked so low. It's the best roast beef you can get, very difficult to match at most grocery store delis.
It's difficult for me to order anything other than the original italien, but last week I had the roast beef, provolone and mushroom. All the best.
Ummm I hate to tell you but the Portobello Cheese Steak does not start out with steak. Actually it has no meat on it at all. It's just what it's says it is. A Portobello Mushroom Cheese Steak. Smh 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
The sandwich is fresh with fresh ingredients and great flavor.
Cherry pepper relish & red wine vinegar are what seal the deal. 👌
Did she say there aren’t any eggs in the tuna salad? WTH would you put eggs in tuna salad! I’ve never heard of that! Mayonnaise has eggs in it but it sounded like she meant additional eggs!
Yeah, they seem to want to make a hybrid of egg and tuna salad.
Jersey Mikes has raised their prices 16.50 now for a sandwich
They are ridiculous
$17.95 now
You can always ask for veggies or more veggies and spices on your sandwich. They aren't stingy. I love their hot sandwiches and I wish one was closer to where I live.
Love the Big Kahuna and the club supreme. On the club supreme, I get it Mike's Way with extra oil and vinegar, as well as, add pickles and banana peppers. Yum
So I guess the turkey and provolone didn't make their cut, 🤷
I feel that the Mashed reviews are very formula driven. Hate on 50%. Ok with 30% and love 20%.
Out here in Az they have a limited menu. Nothing like back home at the Jersey Shore.
The idea of eggs in tuna salad is nauseating! 🤢🤮👎🏻
Have you tried it? Taste good..
Where’s the gabagool?
Tuna salad should not have eggs, just saying
I have to agree about the tuna sandwich. They ran out of it and had to make a new batch so I got the freshest tuna sandwich. But it still sucked. My favorite is still the Chipotle Chez steak but I add bacon.
Ask for the red relish, it's delicious!
Man I love the tuna salad with cherry pepper relish.
The club supreme is the sub of choice in our house; though I much prefer it with provolone, no mayo, and extra oil & vinegar!
That sandwich (club supreme) without may and provolone and extra oil & vinegar (i get extra pickles) is my FAVORITE COLD sandwich! My favorite hot sandwich is the BIG KOHONA.... And i always get the ROSEMARY (SP?) bread!
My favorite place is FIREHOUSE SUBS. IVE NEVER HADVA BAD SANDWICH THERE.
“The chicken is dry” and “there is too much ranch” that’s the point, the ranch helps make the chicken not so dry
Blasphemy‼️ everything on the menu at Jersey Mike’s is sent from heaven 😤
Thank you -Thank you -Thank you ! You are right and the best and freshest subs ever made ! Love the # 13 Original Italian it rocks
#7 Turkey and Provolone mikes way is the best I always get it! 😀 and since I'm diabetic I use wheat bread my husband loves it to
Anyone who orders chicken cheesesteak deserves what they get !
Philadelphia native for 70 years everyone of these items are Philly cheesesteaks.
Wit.
Ball rag . balrog. Back scabs Mindy burger. Maggie shitz. etc. all traditional Philly cheesesteaks.
#22 REUBEN ... R.I.P 🥺💔
I actually enjoy the tunas sandwich, there’s only 3 sandwiches I get from Jersey Mikes. Club no bacon, turkey provolone n the tuna sandwich
Next time get the Big Kahuna and add lettuce tomato and Chipotle mayo. Thank me later. Also ask for provolone instead of American cheese if you like a sharper taste.
Wish we had Jersey Mike's in MS!
I love Jersey Mike's period!!!!
I ate here several times, mostly because I had little choice, but did not see the appeal
It's better to go to local sub shops. They usually give you alot more for the price, and it also usually tastes better.
The Big Kahuna is the Best sand which on the menu! However, I have to say I like everything on the menu except the tuna.
i never had the tuna but the big kahuna is awesome
My go to is #5 with the regular add ons plus banana peppers.
It's a delicious sub. Blows Subway away
I never had a bad sandwich at Jersey Mike's and the brownie is decadent... soooo good. Philly cheesesteak is nothing to rave about there
