Manish bhai, the engine guard which you have installed, I want to install the same. But it is told from the showroom that if I install this from outside (not from triumph), the warranty will be lapsed. And triumph doesn't have this kind of guard. I'm not sure if the showroom men are telling the truth!!

Ok, tell me something folks why do all the Indian scrambler 400x's have the bars by the rear wheel. Mine didnt come with that and havnt seen any in the states with it on them. Not sure what the bars purpose is.
That's called a Saree guard. When ladies wear a saree, they sit on one side of the bike and the grill is intended to stop the saree from getting into the wheel. It's a standard equipment to be installed by every Motocycle maker as per the Govt. of India. I hope I have cleared your doubt @edwardhall8382

Bro outside crash guard doesn’t impact warranty.

Bro i have not done long rides with pillion but city rides are really comfortable, so u can go for it.
